Silver Bullet Maintains #1 Ranking

In week 2 of the 2024 fantasy season, Cookie Monster, owned by our good friend Tony Smith, munched on the high score prize with 170.1 points in an impressive showing against Nite Mahers 72, who also put up great numbers with almost 130 points. Some weeks being good just isn't good enough. Not when a team like Cookie has Kamara leading the NFL with scoring at 49 points this week. Cookie Monster also had beastly performances with Marvin Harrison Jr. getting 39 and 5 other players putting up double digits. Excellent work Cookie Monster.

Our top ranked team, Silver Bullet, won again in a close 12 point victory over Trapsonville. They maintain their #1 ranking into week 2 and stay on top of the 50 team hill. Other big scorers this week were last year's Pub Bowl Runner-Up, Garbage Pail Kid, with 152 points, 3 teams in the 140's and a large number of teams cracking the 130 and 120 rank. A nice scoring performance so far this season by the NFL.

In our new $150 prize Jimmy Bassett Guillotine Competition, 4 teams took the blade to the neck this week with F'n Trouble, Hauk Tua, Danimal Instincts, and Cheeze Wheel putting up the bottom 4 scores to be eliminated in week 2. 42 teams remain with 4 more getting the chopping block next week.

Swammi-Commish Weekly Picks

Your Swammi-Commish prognosticator came out 2-1 in my 3 picks last week, so I'm feeling good about this year's crystal ball. I did give the kiss of death to Papa's 69er's this week as I picked them to beat 2 Mannings One Cup, but only by about 14 points. So I don't feel so bad about that kiss of death. Pucker up homies!
