Jacob Joseph Calhoun

Wake Forest, North Carolina - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacob Joseph Calhoun, born on March 30, 1982, who left us on February 17, 2025, at the age of 42. Jacob was an avid gamer who found a second family within the gaming community, where he was loved and respected by all who knew him. His passion for gaming brought him joy, companionship, and a sense of belonging that he cherished deeply.

Jacob was employed at DoorDash at the time of his passing. He will be remembered for his vibrant personality, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Kay Calhoun (Conaway); sisters, Cliston Duke (Roger), Vikki Keafer, Tracie Savage (Eric), and Jane Wildman (David). He was preceded in death by his father, David J. Calhoun.

Though gone too soon, Jacob's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Jacob. You will forever be loved and missed.
