Week 6 MVP
Week 6 brought fireworks and separation in the standings. Diesel 44 Express, Detroit Football Dream, Silent But Deadly, and 4th N Long all earned strong wins to hold their top spots. A God Amon Men posted the week's highest score, powered by Drake London and Cam Skattebo. Green Machine and Big Johnson struggled to keep pace, while Holden's Heros nearly pulled off an upset against Diesel 44 Express. With the season nearing its midpoint, the playoff race is tightening as top teams pull ahead and the middle of the pack fights to stay in contention.
1. Diesel 44 Express--38.0. Diesel 44 Express improved to 5-1 in a tight matchup thanks to a devastating one-two punch in the backfield. Jonathan Taylor returned to elite form with 137 total yards and a touchdown, while Devon Achane torched the defense for 150 total yards and two scores. Bryce Young added a surprisingly strong three-touchdown performance, and both tight ends--Jake Ferguson and Tyler Warren--found the end zone to give the lineup some extra punch. Ja'Marr Chase's steady production helped offset quieter days from Michael Pittman Jr. and Puka Nacua, sealing another win for the Express.
2. Silent But Deadly--36.6. Silent But Deadly moved to 5-1, grinding out a lower-scoring win behind steady production from its stars. Justin Herbert and Caleb Williams combined for a solid 44 points, while Christian McCaffrey once again carried the load with 111 total yards and a touchdown. D.K. Metcalf added a big-play touchdown to keep the offense rolling, and Travis Kelce turned in another reliable performance. Even with quiet days from Garrett Wilson, Emeka Egbuka, and James Cook, the roster's core firepower was enough to secure the victory.
3. Holden's Heroes--26.8. Holden's Heros put up a strong fight but fell just short, dropping to 1-5. Josh Jacobs led the way with a massive 150 total yards and two touchdowns, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba exploded for 162 yards and a score, showing real star power. Kyren Williams chipped in another touchdown, while the Rams defense dominated with a disruptive performance that kept them in the game. Unfortunately, lackluster outputs from Rhamondre Stevenson and Kenneth Walker, combined with modest quarterback numbers, ultimately kept the team from completing the upset.
4. 4th N Long--26.4. 4th N Long improved to 4-2 with a balanced performance and some explosive individual efforts. Drake Maye led the way with a sharp three-touchdown outing, while Rico Dowdle turned in a massive surprise performance on the ground, piling up 183 rushing yards and over 200 total yards with a score. Ladd McConkey and Sam LaPorta both added touchdowns through the air, giving the lineup a strong push despite quieter days from Stefon Diggs and the running back duo of Barkley and Pollard.
5. Lawrence Lions--21.0. Lawrence Lions dropped to 1-5, but it wasn't for lack of fireworks from Bijan Robinson, who exploded for 238 total yards and a touchdown in a dominant showing. Ashton Jeanty provided solid support on the ground, and Tetairoa McMillan and Trey McBride both found the end zone. Unfortunately, Tua Tagovailoa's three interceptions and a sluggish start from the running game proved costly in what turned into a competitive, high-scoring matchup.
6. Detroit Football Dream--19.3. Detroit Football Dream stayed undefeated at 6-0, grinding out a close win behind steady quarterback play and a timely receiving explosion. Dak Prescott and Sam Darnold combined for 48 points, efficiently leading the offense, while Kendrick Bourne delivered a breakout performance with 142 receiving yards to give the lineup a major boost. Rachaad White added a touchdown on the ground, and Jake Tonges quietly chipped in with a strong day at tight end. Even with modest outputs from Montgomery, Javonte Williams, and Sutton, the team found enough production across the board to stay perfect.
7. Green Machine--17.3. Green Machine put up a respectable 145.81 but couldn't keep pace with the offensive fireworks. Baker Mayfield and Jayden Daniels were efficient, combining for nearly 47 points, while Derrick Henry returned to form with a 122-yard rushing day. George Pickens was the highlight, torching the defense for 168 yards and a touchdown, but Chris Godwin's goose egg and modest outputs from the supporting cast ultimately left too much ground to make up. Green Machine now falls to 1-6, still searching for consistency.
8. A God Amon Men--16.5. A God Amon Men exploded for a season-high 184.03 points, moving to 3-3 with a statement win. Despite an abysmal outing from Justin Fields (just 5.35 points), the rest of the roster more than made up for it. Cam Skattebo dominated with three rushing touchdowns, while Drake London delivered a massive 35.8-point performance through the air. Brian Thomas Jr. and Chris Olave both chipped in strong games, and Zach Ertz found the end zone at tight end. The Denver defense was ferocious, racking up nine sacks to seal the win in style.
9. BOB'S TEAM--11.0. BOB'S TEAM fell to 3-3, but not for lack of effort from its quarterbacks--Jacoby Brissett and Patrick Mahomes combined for a massive 61 points, keeping the matchup tight. Josh Downs provided a spark with a touchdown, and the Steelers defense piled up six sacks in a disruptive showing. Unfortunately, the running game was nearly nonexistent, with Isaiah Davis and RJ Harvey combining for just 7.7 points, and the receiving corps outside of Downs couldn't keep pace. It was a strong QB-led performance that came up just short against the league's lone unbeaten squad.
10. Big Johnson--7.3. Big Johnson fell to 1-5, but the quarterback duo of Daniel Jones and Jalen Hurts kept things competitive with nearly 50 points combined. Jaylen Waddle provided a spark in the receiving game, and Xavier Worthy and Darren Waller both found the end zone. Unfortunately, the running backs couldn't get much going, and D.J. Moore was held in check, leaving too much weight on the QBs to carry the upset bid.
Week 6 MVP: Rico Dawdle--35.90 points.
