Week 9 MVP

Week 9 delivered fireworks across the league, highlighted by record-setting performances and some major separation in the standings. Silent But Deadly and Diesel 44 Express continued to set the pace at the top, while Holden's Heros turned heads with a monster 240-point eruption that shook up the middle tier. Several teams showed signs of life heading into the final stretch, and with six weeks still to play, the playoff picture is anything but settled. Momentum, health, and depth are about to matter more than ever as contenders look to lock in their spots for the postseason push.

1. Silent But Deadly--37.9. Silent But Deadly continued to crush the opposition, rolling to 8-1 behind another monstrous outing from Caleb Williams and Justin Herbert, who combined for nearly 73 fantasy points and five total touchdowns. Christian McCaffrey was his usual unstoppable self with over 170 total yards and two scores, while Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce added just enough punch to round out an explosive lineup. Even with quiet games from Keenan Allen and D.K. Metcalf, the team's star power once again overwhelmed its opponent--and it's hard to see anyone slowing this juggernaut down right now.

2. Diesel 44 Express--37.7. Diesel 44 Express stayed red-hot, improving to 8-1 with another well-rounded victory. Lamar Jackson and J.J. McCarthy combined for six total touchdowns, giving the team a strong foundation from the start. Michael Pittman Jr. and Puka Nacua both topped 20 points, with Nacua flashing his early-season form again, while Devon Achane quietly delivered his usual efficiency out of the backfield. Even with a relatively quiet day from Jonathan Taylor, this team once again showed why it's the most complete roster in the league--explosive, balanced, and dangerous everywhere.

3. Holden's Heroes--30.8. Holden's Heros delivered the most dominant performance of the season, exploding for 241.85 points in a statement win. Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff combined for six passing touchdowns, but the real fireworks came from Brock Bowers, who put up an absurd 47.3 points with three touchdowns and 127 receiving yards--a tight end stat line for the ages. Tee Higgins chipped in a 35-point eruption of his own, while Kyren Williams, Josh Jacobs, and Chase Brown all found the end zone to round out a nearly flawless offensive showing. This was the kind of week that reminds everyone why this roster can still play spoiler--or even make a late run if it stays hot.

4. 4th N Long--25.8. 4th N Long exploded for their best performance in weeks, piling up nearly 170 points behind a balanced, high-powered lineup. Josh Allen led the charge with 31.5 points, throwing a touchdown and running for two more in a statement win over Kansas City. Rico Dowdle shocked the league with a breakout 30-point day, powering through Green Bay's defense for 130 yards and two scores. Sam LaPorta continued to shine at tight end, hauling in six catches for 97 yards and a touchdown, while Drake Maye and Stefon Diggs added steady production to keep the offense rolling. It was a complete, confident showing that firmly reestablished this team as a playoff threat.

5. Lawrence Lions--23.1. The Lions broke out in a big way this week, riding a monster 43.5-point performance from Joe Flacco, who turned back the clock with 470 yards and four touchdowns in a shootout win. Bijan Robinson and Ashton Jeanty both delivered balanced production on the ground and through the air, while Justin Jefferson and Trey McBride each found the end zone to keep the offense rolling. It was the most complete effort this team has shown all season, and it couldn't have come at a better time as the Lions push to climb back into playoff contention.

6. A God Amon Men--15.6. A God Amon Men put up a respectable fight thanks to Drake London's explosion of 40.8 points, a career day that nearly single-handedly kept the matchup competitive. Mark Andrews punched in two touchdowns, and Amon-Ra St. Brown delivered his steady production as usual. Unfortunately, the running game sputtered, and depth issues at flex left too much ground to make up. Despite the loss, there's plenty to like in the passing attack-- this team just needs a steadier backfield to start turning close games into wins.

7. Detroit Football Dream--15.4. Detroit Football Dream saw its second loss this week despite another strong outing from Sam Darnold, who threw for 330 yards and four touchdowns in a surprise star turn. The rest of the offense, however, couldn't quite match his firepower--David Montgomery scored once but coughed up a costly fumble, and Javonte Williams and Kimani Vidal struggled to gain traction on the ground. The defense and supporting cast kept the score respectable, but this week served as a reminder that even elite teams can stumble when their running game cools off.

8. Big Johnson--14.6. For Big Johnson, it was another game where the effort didn't quite translate into a win. Geno Smith was sharp with four touchdown passes, and D.J. Moore brought big-play energy with a rushing score and 72 receiving yards. Jaylen Warren added two touchdowns of his own, but the combination of turnovers from Daniel Jones and quiet outings from key players like Jahmyr Gibbs proved too much to overcome. There's plenty of talent here--the challenge now is stringing it all together.

9. Green Machine--9.4. For Green Machine, it was another week of tough luck, though there were some bright spots. Marvin Harrison Jr. put on a clinic with 96 yards and a touchdown, while Bo Nix and Jayden Daniels both showed off dual-threat ability to combine for nearly 38 points. Derrick Henry ran strong as always, but costly turnovers and quiet outings from the rest of the roster prevented any real upset potential. The team continues to fight, but consistency--especially from the running backs--remains the missing piece.

10. BOB'S TEAM--8.5. BOB'S TEAM ran into a buzzsaw but still managed a solid offensive effort led by Jacoby Brissett's 27.45 points and a two-touchdown game from Davante Adams. Romeo Doubs and Josh Downs both topped 15 points, showing promise in the receiving corps, while the Steelers defense turned in a vintage performance with five sacks and three takeaways. Unfortunately, Patrick Mahomes had a rare off day, and the running game couldn't keep pace with the scoring on the other sideline. It was a respectable showing--just not enough against a historic outburst.

Week 9 MVP: Brock Bowers--47.30 points
