Week 13 MVP
Week 13 tightened the playoff race and delivered some of the most dramatic point swings of the season. Silent But Deadly continued its march toward the top seed with another strong showing, while Diesel 44 Express finally looked mortal but still held firm near the summit. Several bubble teams--most notably Holden's Heros and the resurgent Lawrence Lions--came up big when they needed it most, keeping the middle of the standings chaotic with only two games left. Meanwhile, teams out of contention didn't roll over, playing spoiler and forcing contenders to earn every point. With seeding still wide open and multiple teams separated by razor-thin margins, the final stretch is shaping up to be the most competitive finish the league has had in years.
1. Diesel 44 Express--38.5. For Diesel 44 Express, this was a rare off week in an otherwise historic season. The team still posted a solid 139.38, but this time it wasn't enough to keep pace. Marcus Mariota shocked everyone with a 27.2 outburst, Devon Achane ripped off another 100-yard day, and Ja'Marr Chase returned to form with 110 yards. But quieter showings from Lamar, Puka, and Michael Wilson capped the ceiling, and the Eagles D/ST struggled. At 10-3, Diesel 44 Express is still in cruise control with a playoff berth long secured and the league's best season-long resume--but this matchup belonged to SBD from start to finish.
2. Silent But Deadly--33.8. Silent But Deadly continued their dominant march toward the postseason with a commanding 171.80, outmuscling a usually unstoppable Diesel 44 Express. The squad didn't rely on any single monster performance--they simply stacked strong outing after strong outing. Rashee Rice exploded for 29.4 with two touchdowns, James Cook hammered Pittsburgh for 177 total yards, and Christian McCaffrey and Derrick Henry both added efficient scoring lines. Even with modest QB production, the team rolled thanks to excellent balance and a big defensive day from the Patriots. At 11-2, Silent But Deadly looks every bit like a title contender.
3. Holden's Heroes--31.6. Holden's Heros put together one of their most complete games of the season, rolling to 160.63 behind a massive outing from A.J. Brown, who erupted for 39.2 points and singlehandedly elevated the team's ceiling. The backfield trio of Kyren Williams, Josh Jacobs, and Chase Brown combined for steady production, while Jared Goff delivered an efficient, turnover-free performance. Brock Bowers added two touchdowns to cap off an already strong scoring effort. Even with a quiet day from Jaxon Smith-Njigba and a modest defensive showing, Holden's Heros controlled the matchup from the opening whistle and improved to 7-6, keeping themselves firmly in the playoff conversation.
4. 4th N Long--24.4. 4th N Long put up 134.05, a solid effort powered by strong quarterback play but undermined by too many quiet performances elsewhere. Drake Maye was sharp and efficient with 23.3 points, while Josh Allen added a rushing score to push his total near 19. The problem came from the supporting cast: Saquon Barkley and Stefon Diggs were both held in check, and Zay Flowers delivered almost nothing. Nico Collins and Ladd McConkey helped stabilize things with a touchdown apiece, but the true saving grace was Seattle's defense exploding for 30.00, keeping the score respectable. Still, the lineup lacked the top-end fireworks needed to take the win.
5. Lawrence Lions--24.2. The Lawrence Lions bounced back in a huge way, putting up 177.41 in one of their most complete efforts of the season. Jordan Love delivered his best game in weeks with four touchdowns, while Joe Burrow provided steady production to anchor the QB spot. The stars of the day, though, were Bijan Robinson--dominant with 193 total yards and a score--and CeeDee Lamb, who continued his elite tear with another 100-plus and a touchdown. Trey McBride added a difference-making 22.2 at tight end, and the 49ers defense smashed its projection with turnovers and pressure. It was a badly needed win that keeps the Lions on the edge in the playoff hunt.
6. A God Amon Men--17.0. God Amon Men battled hard and delivered a respectable 123.92, but couldn't keep pace with the firepower across the field. The RB group was excellent--Devin Singletary, Zach Charbonnet, and Breece Hall all found the end zone--and Brock Purdy added a rushing score in a solid fantasy performance. Wan'Dale Robinson and Chris Olave chipped in useful receiving lines as well. Unfortunately, the day was marred by a shocking zero from Amon-Ra St. Brown, who left early, leaving the lineup without its usual anchor. Despite strong efforts elsewhere, the ceiling just wasn't high enough to match Holden's Heros in a tough loss.
7. Big Johnson--15.7. Big Johnson put together a strong, well-rounded performance in a decisive win, stacking steady production across the roster for 131.36 points. Daniel Jones and Jalen Hurts combined for nearly 38 points, each tossing two touchdowns, while the backfield delivered one of its most complete outings of the season. Quinshon Judkins powered his way to 109 total yards and a two-point conversion, Jaylen Warren punched in a score, and Jahmyr Gibbs added 86 scrimmage yards. The Jaguars D/ST sealed the victory with a huge 19.5-point performance fueled by turnovers and relentless pressure. It was one of the team's cleaner, more balanced outings--and it earned a well-deserved win.
8. Detroit Football Dream--11.9. Detroit Football Dream put up a respectable 131.42, but ultimately couldn't match the Lions' explosive outing. Dak Prescott continued his strong season with 320 yards and two scores, and Javonte Williams delivered a well-rounded performance. Kimani Vidal's breakout 22.7 kept the team competitive, and Courtland Sutton remained reliable with another touchdown. But quiet days from Sam Darnold, Emanuel Wilson, and the Houston defense capped the team's ceiling this week. At 8-5, DFD is still on a solid path toward the postseason, but this loss tightens the margin as the final weeks approach.
9. BOB'S TEAM--11.3. BOB'S TEAM answered with one of their best outings of the season, racking up 154.43 behind big-time performances from both quarterbacks. Mahomes threw four touchdowns and looked vintage, while Brissett quietly posted 25.65 in a highly efficient outing. The RB trio of Zonovan Knight, Bucky Irving, and Aaron Jones combined for mixed results, but Knight and Irving found the end zone and more than held their weight. Davante Adams delivered two touchdowns, Romeo Doubs added another, and Andrei Iosivas chipped in a score of his own. Even without a defensive explosion, the steady stream of touchdowns across the lineup pushed BOB'S TEAM comfortably past 4th N Long in a well-rounded win.
10. Green Machine--7.4. Green Machine fought hard but couldn't keep pace despite a few bright spots. Bo Nix had his best fantasy game in weeks with 321 yards and a touchdown, and Chris Godwin finally showed signs of life with 78 yards. WR Marvin Harrison Jr. chipped in 69 yards, and Isaiah Likely delivered a solid 12.5 at tight end. But the running game evaporated, with the trio of Pacheco, Sampson, and the Packers defense combining for just over a dozen points. With limited firepower in key spots, the squad came up short, falling to 2-11 as the season winds toward its close.
Week 13 MVP: AJ Brown--39.20 points.
