Week 1 MVP

Week 1 is in the books, and the season couldn't have started with more fireworks. From massive QB performances to breakout rookies and a few tough-luck losses, every matchup had its own story. Some teams flexed early dominance, others found silver linings in defeat, and a few stars already look poised to carry squads all year long. Here's how the league shook out in the opening week.

1. Lawrence Lions--35.1. The Lions put up a strong score led by Bijan Robinson's 100 receiving yards and TD, plus CeeDee Lamb's 110-yard effort. Jefferson also found the end zone and McBride stayed steady at TE. Still, Burrow struggled and without a true explosion, Bart's squad couldn't keep up with Allen's monster game.

2. Diesel 44 Express--35.0. Brett's Express lived up to its name, powered by Lamar Jackson's 31 points and J.J. McCarthy's surprising 23. Puka Nacua shredded Houston for 130 yards, while Achane added a TD to complement Taylor's steady day. Even with Ja'Marr Chase held to just 26 yards and Mark Andrews nearly invisible, the QB-WR combo of Lamar and Puka carried the Express to a narrow but impressive win.

3. Holden's Heroes--29.3. Tom's squad got steady production across the board, with three RBs (Jacobs, Kyren, and Chase Brown) all finding the end zone and Brock Bowers breaking out for 103 yards. JSN delivered his best game yet with 124 yards, and the Rams D/ST came through big. But with Higgins quiet and no huge star turn outside of Bowers, the Heros fell just short despite a strong 145-point showing.

4. 4th N Long--28.9. Josh Allen's 44.7 points set the tone as he dominated both through the air and on the ground. Zay Flowers erupted for 143 yards and a TD, while Barkley chipped in a rushing score. Despite Pollard's fumble and the Dolphins' defense going negative, Steve's team had more than enough firepower to secure a convincing Week 1 win.

5. A God Amon Men--22.2. Josh's squad had its stars shine at QB, with Justin Fields exploding for 3 total TDs and Brock Purdy adding two more. Breece Hall carried the ground game with 145 total yards, but Kenneth Walker was bottled up and Omarion Hampton managed just modest production. The WR corps underwhelmed badly as A.J. Brown and Amon-Ra combined for under 11 points. Denver's D/ST was dominant with 6 sacks and 18 fantasy points, but the lack of WR firepower kept A God Amon Men just shy of a win.

6. Silent But Deadly--18.1. Andrew's team lived up to its name, exploding across the board. Herbert led the way with 318 yards and 3 TDs, while McCaffrey and James Cook combined for nearly 45 points out of the backfield. Garrett Wilson and Emeka Egbuka both scored, with Egbuka finding the end zone twice. Kelce chipped in a score of his own, and the Commanders' D added 15 points. Even with Pacheco quiet, Silent But Deadly had too much firepower and delivered the week's top score.

7. Big Johnson--17.6. Larry's squad was led by Jalen Hurts' two rushing TDs and Jahmyr Gibbs' heavy receiving work, but the rest of the roster sputtered. Tyreek Hill and D.J. Moore were both held under 10 points, McLaurin and Worthy disappeared, and the Chiefs defense allowed 27. With only three players hitting double digits outside of QB/RB, the team couldn't keep pace and posted the week's lowest score.

8. BOB'S TEAM--15.5. Bob opened the season with strong QB play, as Mahomes (28.6) and Geno Smith (24.1) combined for over 50 points. The backfield was steady with Aaron Jones, Chuba Hubbard, and Bucky Irving all finding the end zone, though the WRs were quieter. Davante Adams and Romeo Doubs didn't do much, but Malik Nabers added 71 yards. Despite a near-zero from the Steelers defense, the balanced scoring across QBs and RBs pushed Bob's Team to victory.

9. Green Machine--13.6. Josh's squad put up a big number but ran into an even bigger buzzsaw. Derrick Henry rumbled for 169 yards and two TDs, Dylan Sampson flashed as a dual threat, and Baker Mayfield tossed 3 TDs. Jayden Daniels added balance with both passing and rushing, while Marvin Harrison Jr. found the end zone. Even with strong TE production and solid defensive points, Ridley's quiet game hurt. A tough loss despite a 166-point effort.

10. Detroit Football Dream--6.0. Gary's Dream overcame weak QB play from Prescott and Darnold thanks to big days from the pass-catchers. Keon Coleman exploded for 112 yards and a score, Hollywood Brown caught 10 balls for 99 yards, and Courtland Sutton found the end zone. Javonte Williams powered in two TDs to give the backfield life, while Kittle chipped in at tight end. Even with a shaky start at QB, the Dream rode its WR strength to a comfortable Week 1 win.

Week 1 MVP: Josh Allen--44.70 points.
