Week 2 MVP

Week 2 brought plenty of drama, big performances, and some early separation in the standings. A few teams rode star explosions to victory, others leaned on balance, and some tough-luck squads put up strong scores only to fall short. With two weeks down, trends are starting to take shape and the race for momentum is heating up.

1. Diesel 44 Express--37.3. Diesel 44 Express put on a Week 2 clinic, racking up over 200 points. Lamar Jackson accounted for 4 passing TDs, Jonathan Taylor exploded for 215 total yards and a score, and Achane piled up 122 yards with a receiving TD. Ja'Marr Chase was unstoppable with 14 catches for 165 yards and a TD, while Puka Nacua added 136 total yards and a long rushing score. The Ravens defense capped things off with a defensive TD, sealing one of the most dominant wins of the season so far.

2. Lawrence Lions--34.9. The Lions roared back this week behind a balanced attack. Jordan Love lit up Washington with 292 yards and 2 scores, CeeDee Lamb dominated for 112 yards, and Bijan Robinson rolled for 143 on the ground. Etienne added a TD, McBride kept up steady TE production, and the Cardinals defense stole the show with a defensive touchdown. Even with Burrow struggling again and Jeanty quiet, the Lions had too much depth and secured their first win of the season.

3. Holden's Heroes--29.4. Holden's Heros put up a big fight but came up just short. Jared Goff went nuclear with 334 yards and 5 TDs, Stafford added nearly 300 and 2 scores, and Jacobs pounded in a rushing TD. Smith-Njigba topped 100 yards, Higgins found the end zone, and the Rams defense tallied 5 sacks. Still, London's fumble hurt and the RB depth behind Jacobs and Williams wasn't enough to keep pace with Nabers' monster day. A tough 0-2 start despite back-to-back strong weeks.

4. 4th N Long--27.5. 4th N Long stayed unbeaten with another balanced performance. Drake Maye shined with 3 total TDs, Saquon Barkley powered in a score, and the WR trio of Nico Collins, Zay Flowers, and McConkey all contributed double-digit games. The Seahawks defense delivered the knockout punch with a defensive TD and nearly 19 fantasy points. Even with Josh Allen and Diggs held in check, the depth across the roster was enough to move to 2-0.

5. Silent But Deadly--25.5. Silent But Deadly put up a strong fight but ran into a runaway train. James Cook led the way with 132 rushing yards and 2 TDs, while McCaffrey chipped in 107 total yards and a score. Deebo Samuel and Metcalf both found the end zone, and Herbert added 2 passing TDs. Despite steady production across the board, Kyler Murray's modest line and limited WR output from Garrett Wilson and Egbuka kept the total short of what was needed.

6. A God Amon Men--18.5. A God Amon Men had one huge bright spot in Amon-Ra St. Brown, who erupted for 115 yards and 3 TDs. Zach Ertz added a vintage 18-point showing, and Kenneth Walker rushed for 105 yards and a score. But the rest of the roster struggled as Fields managed just 27 passing yards, the RB committee of Hall, Charbonnet, and Hampton combined for under 11 points, and the Broncos defense went negative. Outside of St. Brown, there wasn't enough firepower to avoid an 0-2 start.

7. BOB'S TEAM--15.8. BOB'S TEAM stayed perfect thanks to an explosion from Malik Nabers, who torched Dallas for 167 yards and 2 TDs. Davante Adams joined the fun with 106 yards and a score, while Hubbard and Irving both posted strong double-digit games in the backfield. Mahomes delivered a solid 25, though Geno Smith and Aaron Jones struggled, and the Cowboys defense cratered at -4.7. It didn't matter, as the WR firepower carried BOB'S TEAM to 2-0.

8. Big Johnson--13.0. Big Johnson bounced back from a rough Week 1 with stronger production, but still fell short. Trevor Lawrence's three passing TDs and Jahmyr Gibbs' 94-yard rushing day kept things afloat, while Tyreek Hill topped 100 yards as usual. Conner found the end zone again, and the Bucs' defense chipped in double digits. Still, Hurts was quiet, Freiermuth didn't do much, and Tracy Jr. couldn't provide a spark. A solid 131 points, but not enough to avoid an 0-2 start.

9. Green Machine--12.2. Green Machine had bright spots but couldn't keep pace. Baker Mayfield and Jayden Daniels combined for over 42 points through the air and on the ground, and Tucker Kraft broke out with 124 yards and a TD. Kamara added 120 total yards, while Sampson found the end zone. But Derrick Henry was bottled up, Ridley and Harrison Jr. were quiet, and the Vikings defense had only a modest showing. A solid effort, but it left Green Machine still searching for its first win.

10. Detroit Football Dream--6.6. Detroit Football Dream moved to 2-0 behind steady balance, led by Prescott's 361 yards and 2 TDs and Javonte Williams' 130 total yards with a score. Sam Darnold backed up with nearly 300 passing yards, while Montgomery added another rushing TD. The receiving corps was quiet outside of short gains, but the Texans defense notched 4 sacks and 7 points to help secure the win. It wasn't flashy, but the Dream stayed unbeaten with just enough production across the board.

Week 2 MVP: Ja'Marr Chase--40.50 points
