COSTLY LOSSES FOR SCOTT & STEVE AS INJURIES MOUNT

Nabers, T. Hill are done. Also, Purdy, Lamar out
WEEK 4 IN REVIEW: Defending champ, Charlie, remains unbeaten after beating Steve 64 - 55. Steve trailed 55 - 38 heading into Monday and was hoping for a big comeback led by Tua and Tyreek. But what happened was Garrett Wilson added 9 points to Charlie's score and Hill's knee got blowed up. Blowed up real good. Even without Burrow, Charlie is now 4 - 0 and has already opened a commanding 3 game lead in the Larry Division....Speaking of having their knees blowed up, Malik Nabers is also done for the year for Scott's hard luck team. Scott loses a crucial divisional game to Tim 58 - 26 and has now lost Ekeler and Nabers for good along with also having Lamb, McCarthy, Mixon, and Sanders injured. Scott, now 1 - 3, also has yet to get a point from a kicker. The only kicker he drafted, Sanders, started the year on IR and waiver claim, Slye, missed 2 FG's as the Titans got shutout....Also getting a crucial divisional win was the commish as I remain unbeaten after beating Jay 82 - 48. Jay gets a 300 yard, 2 TD game from Purdy, but he re-stubs his toe and may be unavailable again. The Packers D, on their way to the NFC title (ALLEGEDLY) gave up 40 points and a million yards to the Lamb-less Cowboys which cost me some points and the high score....And winning this week's high score, again, was Nate who beat Hack 85 - 52 in another divisional game. Besides getting his 2nd high score with 85 points in his line-up, he also had 80 points on his bench. And still he complains about drafting 12th. Hack drops to 2 - 2, but is still only 1 game back in the Shemp Division....On Sunday, they mentioned that an 0 - 3 team has not beaten a 3 - 0 team in the NFL since 1975. Well, it happened this week in our league as Darren breaks into the win column with a 68 - 58 win over Doc. In this game and in real life it was Mahomes vs Lamar Jackson and results were pretty similar in both cases as Mahomes finally looked like Mahomes. Despite the loss, Doc still stays tied atop the Shemp Division....And in the "somethings gotta give" game, a pair of winless teams squared off. In the end, Troy breaks into the win column by pounding Ryan 76 - 39. Charlie might not be missing Burrow, but Ja'Marr Chase (0 points) sure does. He, along with the rest of the Bungles, looked totally disinterested in being in Denver. Ironically, at 0 - 4, Ryan is still only 2 games out of 1st in the Curly Division while Troy remains 3 back in the Moe Division....ELSEWHERE: In the Survivor Pool, Troy becomes the 3rd guy eliminated, while Doc picks up strike one. Jay, Nate, Hack, Charlie, Ryan and Darren move on unscathed. Interestingly, Jay and Charlie both played the Packers and were not given a blemish. So, ties aren't losses. Who knew?....And in the Pick'ems, Nate not only wins the high score, he also takes this week's Pick'ems with an 11 - 4 - 1 record with the tie-breaker.
