Ryan pummels Uncle Nate for his SFL career win #1

WEEK 6 IN REVIEW: For those of you wondering about the above picture, before heading off to St. Bonaventure to be a Bonnie, Ryan did some mascot work for U.B. He was the regular Tully the Turtle (inset) and the back-up Victor E. Bull. So, using a couple of RB's (Dowdle and Vidal) that weren't on the radar screen at the start of the year, but had huge games, the former Victor E. picks up his 1st victory by drubbing Nate 84 - 46. Ryan, now at 1 - 5, also wins the week 6 high score and is still only 1 game out of a playoff spot and only 2 games back of Tim for the lead in the Curly Division....Speaking of Tim, he knocks Charlie from the ranks of the unbeaten with a huge Monday night comeback. Heading into Monday, Charlie had a 46 - 31 lead and a win probably of 83%. After the Falcons 1st possession, Charlie's lead had shrunk to 3 and his win probability to 11%. By halftime, Tim, with Robinson and London, had things well in hand as he cruised to a 64 - 49 win....The only guy still unbeaten now is the Commish, who improves to 6 - 0 after rolling over Doc 73 - 28. With Lamar Jackson out again, Doc drops to 3 - 3 as once again Geno Smith avoids double figures in his stead. Keeping my streak going next week could be a challenge as I'll be facing Nate with Josh on bye and Nakua questionable....Jay stays 2 games back of me in the Moe Division after beating Scott 63 - 33 and is now 4 - 2. Scott only had 2 guys on bye this week, but he still had 5 guys out with injuries. And the 2 guys on bye were also listed as injured, And, incredibly, he also had his 2nd kicker out with an injury. But, like Ryan at 1 - 5, he's still just 1 game out of the playoffs....Troy gets a much-needed win with a 59 - 41 beating of Hack. Barkley continues to be mediocre, but Cam Skattebo picks up the slack with 3 TD's for Troy. Both teams are now 2 - 4 and Hack is looking to trade his underachieving Eagles. Make him an offer....And finally, Darren evens his record at 3 - 3 with a 54 - 35 win over Steve. Steve, now 2 - 4, had 0 TD's from his position players, in the line-up and on the bench. Having Bryce Young be your best player for the week does not bode too well. Meanwhile, Darren finally got a Mahomes-ian game from Mahomes, who torched the Lions for 4 TD's....ELSEWHERE: Scott salvages something by winning the Pick'ems with an 11 - 4 mark. He was the only guy to pick both KC and Atlanta. And in the Survivor Pool, Jay and Ryan both used the Eagles and are now out. That leaves Doc, Nate and Darren with 1 strike, and Charlie and Hack still moving on unblemished.
