TD with 2:04 left in the week downs Nate 63 - 59
WEEK 7 IN REVIEW: Woody Marks (who?) who had 0 yardage points on 13 touches, managed to find the endzone with 2:04 left in the week to give the undefeated Commish a 63 - 59 win over Nate. Another tough luck loss for Nate who drops to 4 - 3 despite being only 4 points behind in the total points scored race. "It's all about the match ups". For me, injuries and having the last waiver slot again will probably derail my run at the 1972 Dolphins....Also lamenting the match ups, as mentioned below on the message board, was Charlie, who lost to Hack 74 - 67. Hack, ironically, got 39 points from Hurts and D, Smith, 2 guys he was trying to trade. Charlie had to use some 3rd stringers due to byes and injuries, but Hockenson's non-TD (looked legit to me but was overturned by replay) cost him and the Vikings a win....Steve picks up the week 7 high score, pounding Tim 81 - 39. Tim only used 49.4% of his optimal line-up, but even if he played 100% of it, he still would have lost by 2. Both teams are now 3 - 4 as Steve picks up a game on Charlie in the Larry Division and Tim is somehow still in 1st in the Curly Division....Jay keeps pace with the Commish two games back in the Moe Division after beating Darren 60 - 36. Darren got a total of 3 points from his 5 position players and only had 2 more unused points on his bench as he falls to 2 - 4. Jay improves to 5 - 2, but all 3 of his QB's are listed as questionable for week 8. Maybe Steve will trade you Justin Fields for a 17th round pick in the 2046 draft....Doc does something this week that the Saints aren't able to do. And that's win with Spencer Rattler at QB. But it was more thanks to Judkins and A.J. Brown combining for 5 TD's that allowed Doc to beat Troy 74 - 54. Troy got amazing games from both his QB's (420 yards from Herbert and Nix's 34 unused points) but had no one else reach double figures....And finally, Ryan (2 - 5) wins his 2nd game in a row, beating Scott (1 - 6) 72 - 27. First pick overall, JaMarr Chase's 16 catch night on Thursday gave Ryan an early lead and he cruised from there. Scott was finally able to field an entirely healthy line-up, they just didn't score very much. The good news for him was Lamb is back and he finally got points from a kicker. Both teams are still in the hunt for 1st place in the weak Curly Division....ELSWHERE: All 5 remaining survivors picked winners this week and move on o week 8. And in the Pick'ems, three guys went 12 - 3, but Darren nailed the tie-breaker right on the nose to take this week's prize.
