TIM, DOC PUT UP THE LOWEST SCORES OF THE SEASON

Doc comes up short.....REAL short vs Jay
WEEK 8 IN REVIEW: With 6 teams on bye this week, some team's line-ups were stretched pretty thin. And other teams just made bad coaching decisions. Jay (6 - 2) steamrolled Doc (4 - 4) by a score of 66 - 20. Doc was one of the teams stretched thin as he had 3 regulars on bye and 2 others injured. Matt Prater had a team high 9 points as nobody else on the roster had more than 6. And Spencer Rattler returned to form with 2 turnovers and 0 points. Doc's optimal line-up was only a 29, which would have beaten only 1 team....And that team was Tim (3 - 5) who managed to score a season low in a 47 - 17 loss to the Commish (8 - 0). But unlike Doc, Tim only used 25% of his optimal line-up which would have given him 68 as he left a total 70 points on his bench. The Commish remains unbeaten by surviving with his regular WR's all on bye, as the likes of Keon Coleman and Hollywood Brown came up small, doing next to nothing as their replacements....The only Monday night drama this week came in the Darren vs Nate game, and it wasn't all that dramatic. Nate (4 - 4) was done on Sunday and had a 5 point lead over Darren (4 - 4). But Darren still had Mahomes and 2 other guys to play, so it was just a matter of time before Darren came from behind to win 82 - 62. Mahomes was 1 yard short of getting another point for Darren, so he ends up splitting this week's high score with Charlie.....Charlie (6 - 2) gets huge games again from Cook, Taylor, and Daniel Jones (all over 20 points) as he beats Ryan (2 - 6) 82 - 45. Ryan jumped out to a 12 - 1 lead on Thursday, but Dak's less-than-stellar performance in Denver quickly squashed that momentum. Charlie maintains his 2 game lead in the Larry Division while Ryan, thanks to Tim's loss, is still only 1 game out in the Curly Division. SMH....Hack (4 - 4) gets another 4 TD's from the QB (Hurts) he's been trying to trade as he romps over Steve (3 - 5) 68 - 32. Steve's 3 QB's, Tua, Fields, and 103 year old Flacco, whom he started, combined for 65 points and his Browns D had 9. The rest of his roster had a whopping 2 more. Steve falls 3 games back of Charlie in the Larry Division while Hack, Nate and Doc are all now tied at 4 - 4 in the Shemp Division. SMH again.....Troy (3 - 5) gets another costly win by outscoring Scott (1 - 7) 80 - 61. Troy's team continues to be decimated by injuries as Skattebo goes down for the year and Quentin Johnston has just simply disappeared. Scott continues to be plagued by the "it's all about the match-ups" rule as his opponents have averaged 66.7 points per game against him. But still, at 1 - 7, he's still only 2 games out of 1st in the Curly Division. Still SMH....ELSEWHERE: All five survivors picked right again and move on to week 9. And in the Pick'ems, Hack and myself both go 11 - 2, but Hack wins the week by the tie-breaker. I was expecting a few more points from Washington. But I was the only guy to call the Jets 1st win of the year as I now have a 4 game lead in the overall Pick'ems standings.
