It's long enough......DOINK!!! Off the upright, giving Mahomes a chance at a miracle finish (that didn't happen) and giving Nate a miracle win as Doc loses a heartbreaker 67 - 64. Nate now sits tied with Hack at 5 - 4, atop the Shemp Division....Also not getting good news from his kicker was Jay, who loses to the Commish 68 - 56. Down by 27 after Sunday, Jay (6 - 3) still had hopes with McBride, Aubrey and Javonte Williams yet to play. McBride found the end zone, but Williams only contributed a fumble and Aubrey was only 1 for 2 on FG attempts, missing from 68. The Commish (9 - 0) stays unbeaten for another week. I just wish the Saints would have traded Olave to a team with a real QB.....Troy (4 - 5) picks up the week 9 high score with an 83 - 47 beat down of Charlie (6 - 3). Charlie immediately blamed the loss on Joe Biden. (sorry, couldn't resist a little post-election day humor). Anyways, Brock Bowers, who allegedly ALMOST got traded to me last week, returns to Troy's line-up with 3 TD's. Charlie could be having more QB issues down the stretch as Jones has a 5 turnover game and Stroud gets concussed....Even though Dallas sucked on Monday, Dak managed to throw 1 TD in the 4th quarter to give Ryan a 58 - 52 win over Steve. Both teams are now 3 - 6, but Steve is in last place in the Larry Division while Ryan is now tied for 1st in the Curly Division. And whoever wins that sorry division goes to the playoffs. Maybe we should adopt the college rule, where you have to be at least at .500 to be bowl eligible.....And now tied with Ryan is Tim (3 - 6) who loses to Hack (5 - 4) 57 - 38. Once again, Tim leaves most of his points on the bench as Drake London's 3 TD's went unused. Tucker Kraft blowing out a knee didn't help either. With Hurts on bye, Stafford steps in and throws 4 TD's for Hack who stays tied with Nate atop the Shemp Division.....And also keeping pace in the Curly Division is Scott, who beat Darren (4 - 5) 55 - 39. Scott gets a big game (31 points) from Caleb Williams as he wins for just the 2nd time this year. But, amazingly is still only 1 game out of 1st behind Ryan and Tim with some huge divisional games looming. Who would have thought playing Mahomes (6 points) instead of Dart (23 points) would have cost Darren a win?.....ELSEWHERE: Did anybody else see Jayden Daniels elbow pop out of it's socket? YUCK. His arm bent like a Twizzler underneath him. Anyways, in the Survivor Pool, Doc picked Dallas and is out. Charlie went with the Lions and picked up his 1st strike. Hack is now the only guy who's unblemished, while Charlie, Nate, and Darren are chasing him with 1 strike each. And in the Pick'ems, it came down to me vs Darren and I was the only guy to take Arizona on Monday night, so I win this week's prize with a 10 - 4 mark.
