Half-Way Season Report

By The Commissioner Sat Nov 1 8:11pm CT

SOUTH DIVISION:

Weapon X (7-1) 656:

With a stable of Horses in the backfield and duo of "pocket passers" your Commish is set up as a tough out.  Hit rate of transactions have found some weekly contributions and solid depth.

Best win: Salty Balls.  Put that shit in yo mouth and gargle next time you do draft analysis.  What's that G-man?  I can't hear ya....something stuck?

Transactions left: 7

Coach D! (7-1) 691:

Reports out of North Stafford are saying that inside the Lewis residence there IS NO MENTION of pop's early season success around Momma Bear, or ya sleep wit the fishes!  BDL had a season like this a couple years ago and fizzled.  This year does not have that feel.  With a getting hotter Patrick Mahomes and a well rounded roster featuring Robinson, Warren, Badgley and Denver D the team has dropped a league high 691 points on the year.  Team cannot afford any more injuries after already losing Najee Harris and Cam Skattabo.

Best Win:  Double Tight.  Lewis will go 1-1, not 0-1.

Transactions left:  6

Mack Daddies (6-2) 680:

The showing up late and leaving early experience set the tone for the season, as the 2024 Fresh Meat has transformed into the 2025 6-2 Mack Daddies due to a new talent acquiring strategy of coming early and finding a couch.  Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and a pair of Cowboys (puke) have formed a stable base around this year's super sleeper QB. This years lay-away-plan just might pay off.

Best Win:  Killer P's.  That's what you get for missing the Potomac game.

Transactions left:  5

Ydawg (4-4) 572:

Ydawg has been rollin' snake eyes in the transaction department and hasn't hit on a few gems as per usual. As he's down to the bare knuckles, we will see how far a bunch of (good) white boys and a Penix can get em.

Best Win: Mommas Boy.  Do you have to ask?

Transactions left:  0

Double Tight (4-4) 616:

After starting off the season 1-4, Holland found enough time to juggle a relatively healthy roster enough to win three in a row.  Don't expect too much front office action for a few more weeks, but this team has enough to make a playoff push.  Daniels is the key.

Best Win:  Mack Daddies.  Put an end to a 3-game winning streak of a quality opponent.

Transactions left:  10

Yinzburgh (3-5) 490:

Weekly mixing and matching of Wide Receivers and Tight Ends have kept the Yinzburgh organization operating in the mid-point level weekly and has eked out a few low-scoring wins.  With QB depth, a trade could be brewing on the horizon for some lineup flexibility.

Best Win:  Ritchie Rich.  He still had a team in week 1.

Transactions left:  6

Killer P's (2-6) 521

This man takes care of so many people and when it's in super slow-mo, it's hard to have enough time to manage a fantasy team.  A return of Lamar Jackson and a suprisingly talented roster the P's can legitimately make a late-season push.  A win this week against the D! would be a nice start.

Best Win:  Kaidmanzz.  That one was a coin flip.

Transactions left:  9

NORTH DIVISION:

Salty Balls (5-3)  565:

Salty's been dropping balls within the North Division as he has a perfect 4-0 record.  Riding out some current injuries, the Salty Balls have been holding down the fort with a couple of well used transactions.  A pair of running backs should be coming back soon along with some texts with someone barking.

Best Win:  Lorton Loser.  Scored a season-high 105 points.

Transactions left:  3

Steely McBeam (5-3)  683:

The Steelies continue the climb out of the 2023 License plate season to be in a share of first place and scoring a league 2nd best total amount of points.  Banking on a solid Herbert and 4 WR spread formations the team is holding out hope for a sooner than later return of RB Bucky Irving.  I am a little disappointed in the small smile when Skattabo went down, but you're a Conn, so I forgive you.

Best Win:  Ritchie Rich.  Corn-hole rubber match.

Transactions left 5

Momma's Boy (4-4) 608:

The Momma's Boy is putting together a sneaky decent season while driving with some status insecurities.  Drake Maye has been a great value pick and Puka should return soon to pair with Jefferson as a dangerous combo.  Running back depth is a slight problem but this team has enough recieving power to get rid of that thing sooner rather than later.

Best Win:  Coach D!  It just feels good.

Kaidmanzz (3-5) 623:

Since beginning the year 0-3, the Kaidmanzz battled back to win 3 of the next five while the two losses were by 7 and 1 points.  Bo Nix and J. Gibbs have been solid producers, but you know what they say...if you have 4 TE's you have none.  There is enough depth here and with good coaching, this could be a scratch and crawl riser.

Best Win:  Ritchie Rich.  119 to put Rich in this category for the third time.  Ouch.

Transactions left: 10

Steelers (3-5) 602:

What we're looking at folks is a relatively strong starting lineup lead by Josh Allen and Drake London.  The bench, however, is a casting call for extra's in Return of the Living Dead.  The Orande Gadsen pick up could be a winner, and with most starters past their bye weeks, some positive contributions from said bench could be strategic in a battle for the last spot.

Best Win:  Yinzburgh.  Steeler vs Steeler crime for NOT picking the Steelers.

Ritchie Rich (2-6) 503:

The Rich with an un-usual non-rich season up to this point.  Between benching's, injuries and just plain poor performance, this team has struggled physically and mentally all year long.  Jaxon Dart, Jalen Warren and Tee Higgins offer a bit of hope for a Toilet Bowl run.  Otherwise as G-man would say...."thanks for your donation."

Best Win:  Steelers.  Put 69 on his ass.  It's 2025 people.

Transactions left:  0

Lorton Loser (1-7) 523:

From the refereeing many of us have seen this year, this makes sense.  Thank the Lord for NFL picks.

Best Win:  Breaking a hunny against Ydawg.  It's a win.

Transactions left:  9

Stay tuned......weekly prognostications beginning next week.
