Week 8 is in the books, and we are starting to see some real separation in the standings.
We have three teams tied for the best record at 7-2. One other team is over .500, and everyone else is struggling. Some are struggling more than others, though. Two teams at 4-5, which isn't terrible, and they're still really in the thick of it. The three teams at 3-6 are still alive, but the windows are starting to close. And the league-worst at 2-7 is still alive too. We have regularly had teams that are 9-7 make the playoffs, but the margin for error is razor-thin for our bottom teams.
The trade deadline is in a couple of weeks. This will be the last chance to make any significant moves.
