OK OK OK. I am feeling excellent because I put up real points two weeks in a row. Please don't call it a comeback.
But actually, Week 9 is complete, and the week was pretty lopsided. Not really high scoring this week, and each fantasy game wasn't super close. So, let's get to the matchups.
Pregnant? Try Tee-Lenol (5-5) vs My Ball Zach Ertz (8-2)
First of all, congrats to Jay for baby boy number two. That's a win. Unfortunately, for a Bengals fan, you really don't like playing Tee Higgins. Starting him would have gotten you the win. Or the Packers not laying an egg, and the top-scoring TE only getting four. My Ballz got an easy win. Scoring under 120 and getting the win is a sure-fire way to slide into the playoffs. But you could have made some better decisions as well. Both teams appear to be looking good as we advance.
The Big Lavontski (4-6) vs Trade Kyler Murray (3-7)
I scored points! I'm pretty happy about it. Nothing spectacular, but solid work top to bottom. Vidal needs to be better. I don't think Kyler is getting traded. I agree he is garbage and they need to let him go, but who is going to take his stupid contract? Cards are not the smartest organization. Jaxon is truly amazing, and Jameson Williams made some plays late in the game. Packers, man, they got you too.
Participatory Trophies Only (7-3) vs Johnny Utah (5-5)
Participatory Trophies drops one and falls off the lead in the standings. The plethora of running backs didn't work this week. This team looks fine all around, though. Just a down week. Johnny Utah had a great day with Brock Bowers. That's huge for a TE. 100% roster accuracy. That is worth a sticker.
Red Bird Gang (4-6) vs You can do it (4-6)
Almost the whole team was on bye for Red Bird Gang. Kamara is a joke, or maybe it is the Saints—or both. Either way, you dropped under .500 for the year. The wrong quarterback to start, along with Gibbs and Montgomery scoring low, is why you lost. I think you are going to struggle to get wins. You can do it got the second good game out of Caleb Williams. Dowdle is the pickup of the year so far. You missed Loveland's coming-out party. I don't think you can make the playoffs, but you can make some people miss the playoffs.
Diamond Dogs (7-3) vs Fire the Cannons! (3-7)
Diamond Dogs also had an off week. Dropping under .500. Taylor had a bad game against the Steelers, and Metcalf had a bad game against the Colts. Danny Dimes with four turnovers, yikes. Good job to Cannons. Odunze not having a catch is somewhat surprising, considering that everyone else caught a pass.
