There were exciting NFL games this week!  But another week also means another round of injuries, unfortunately.    Now Mike Evans is gone !  This is fantasy football hell.........

The NFL Injury Train had already added an extra car last week, specifically reserved for the Washington Commander players !  Now it's going to have to add a couple more.....

But for those in fantasy football heaven, here are the highlights.....

TEAM OF THE WEEK   -  Mayhem.     Mayhem is ruling the league!  This week, he had 7 of 8 starters scoring 10+ points.   He got QB Matthew Stafford for 27.38 points, RB Jonathan Taylor for 31.2 points, RB Bijan Robinson for 15.2 points, WR Keenan Allen for 17.9 points, WR Rashee Rice for 16.2 points, TE Jake Ferguson for 14.9 points, and Chiefs defense for 13 points!  Phew, his total team score of 143.78 points is his third GOW award. Not only that, he broke his own high team score from week 5.   The new High Team Score now stands at 143.78.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK  -  QB Bo Nix of Mighty Thor.    Bo Nix is offically a baller!   He threw for 279 yards and two TDs, plus two 2XPs.  He also ran for 48 yards and another two TDs!   His fantasy score of 39.96 points is now the new High Player Score for the league.

GAME OF THE WEEK  -  None.   All blowouts again.

Now we are at the halfway point of the season already.  Time goes fast.

Due to the new DFFL3 rule for flexible scheduling of divisional games, the past week 7 had all games as divisional matchups.  Already every division was affected.  Let's look at each one :

         Atlantic - Mayhem is on top at 6-1, but Call of Hutch is only one game behind.

         Great Lake - Hawks leads at 5-2, but Meanies has clawed his way up to second place in the division at 4-3.

         Pacific - Bexans has a comfortable lead at 5-2 despite losing his second match in a row.  But 4th&Drunk has the same division record as Bexans at 3-1 after a critical win against him.   This leaves the possibility of Drunk stealing the division from him if she can force him into a tie after week 14.

Now........your worst nightmare has just came true.  Next week is BYE-MAGEDDON !!!  On week 8, six teams will be on bye!    Good luck next week, you have been warned.....(it's Halloween season)
