Jonathan Taylor has taken over as top RB !
Despite six teams being on bye, we had a lot of high-scoring games which produced fantasy gold this week. But it was also another week of injuries; the nightmare just keep getting worse. Judkins, then Skattebo ! Oh, I can't look !
If this league was a racetrack, it'd become a demolition derby !
Now you'd just kindly cast your blinded gaze past the flashing lights, let's check on the highlights.....
TEAM OF THE WEEK - Goodyear Silents. Goodyear is rising back, like a phoenix! His strong performance of a lineup, starting with QB CJ Stroud (23.72 points), RB James Cook (33.6 points -- the 2nd best player score this week!), RB King Henry (19.1 points), WR Khalil Shakir (14.8 points), TE George Kittle (10.3 points), plus kicker Old Man Boswell booming his foot once again for 31 points, adds up to a team score of 146.12 points ! Amazingly, it beats out Mayhem's top team score from just last week ! Now the new High Team Score stands at 146.12, with six games left to go.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - RB Jonathan Taylor of Mayhem. Taylor has taken the top RB spot away from CMC ! This week, he had 174 scrimmage yards and three TDs, for a fantasy score of 35.4 points ! He is the main reason Mayhem is the current top-ranked team at 7-1. He shows no sign of slowing down !
GAME OF THE WEEK - Bexans vs Blue Meanies. Bexans had RB Breece Hall for 30.86 points as his top scorer, plus additional help from RB Josh Jacobs (10.5 points) and WR Rome Odunze (11.4 points). Blue Meanies had QB Justin Herbert for 27.28 points, WR Kayshon Boutte (13.5 points), and TE Dallas Geodert (14.8 points). By Monday night, Bexans was leading 89.36 to 83.68 and Meanies had one player left. He needed Xavier Worthy to catch for 57 yards, but he only caught 53 yards! Four yards short ! Bexans escapes, winning 89.36 to 88.98. (A margin of 0.38 points..............................talk about a close shave).
Well, that was Halloween week. Things are scary enough now. Good luck next week, go hobble your best.
