Drake London catches three TDs !
Another week of fantastic scoring ! But there were also not-so-good performances as well. The general scoring level of the league this week has gotten lower than usual.
Meanwhile, the demolition derby continues. TE Kraft, WR Hunter, and QB Daniels are gone. Several others got new ailments and will be out of action for a little while.
I'd rather not look at the crash fest. Let's focus on the highlights.....
TEAM OF THE WEEK - Blue Meanies. His lineup wasn't perfect, but he did manage to finish on top. He had QB Herbert hot with 29.7 points, RB Christain McCaffrey for 29.3 points, WR Jameson Williams for 12.6 points (finally woke up!), key player TE Tray McBride for 11.5 points, and hot kicker Chad Ryland for 12 points (did you see that FG kick that just barely made it, ball directly above the goalpost upright ?). Everybody else had under 100 points, so Blue Meanies' team score of 103.1 points ends up being the leader this week.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WR Drake London of Eye Of The Hawks. I didn't see this coming ! Drake London has broken out with his best game of the year, catching for 118 yards and THREE touchdowns ! His fantasy score of 29.8 points is the leader of this week. Other players had more, but all were on the bench! Wiz's TE Bowers had 31.3 points. Bexans had both QB Flacco (36.8 points) and QB Caleb Williams (36.7 points). Strangely enough, both scored better than his regular QB Lamar Jackson ! How weird can you get ?
GAME OF THE WEEK - Masshole vs Hey! Facemask!. A matchup of two 2-6 teams. Masshole had QB Dart for 27.24 points, RB Kyren Williams for 17.4 points, WR Smith-Njigba for 14 points, and kicker Slye for 11 points. Facemask got QB Maye for 20.36 points, RB Chase Brown for 11.2 points, WR Justin Jefferson for 10.7 points, and kicker Dicker for 14 points. Coming into MNF, Facemask was ahead 85.16 to 80.24 with one player remaining for Masshole. He needed 4.43 points from WR Lamb, and got 8.5 points. Masshole wins 88.74 to 85.16.
We are in the home stretch now, with 5 games to go. Good luck, all ! (Note: another Sunday morning game in the next two weeks, the last two.)
