Finally got the Hawk !

Another week of injuries........you never know where it's going to hit.   More players are boarding the Injury Train as we speak.......

Three weeks to go !

Now for this week's highlights :

TEAM OF THE WEEK  -  Blue Meanies.   Meanies is still fighting for a playoff berth and he has to meet the division leader Eye Of The Hawk again.   But his star RB Christain McCaffrey (Mr. Reliable) jumped up with three TDs (30.1 points), TE Trey McBride got 17.5 points, new kicker McPherson contributed 12 points, and replacing Nabers and Evans has been difficult, but Meanies finally had crucial games from his replacement WRs, Jameson Williams and Christain Watson (15.7 and 16.6 points, respectively).    Meanies scored 105.94 points, best of this week after Fourth & Drunk's kicker Aubrey didn't kick another FG when Dallas chose to go for a TD on 4th down and failed (Lamb dropped a easy one!) and then knelt to kill the clock instead of kicking.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK  -  QB Josh Allen of Fourth & Drunk.   Josh Allen is Superman once again !    He had six TDs !  With 357 scrimmage yards, three passing TDs, and three rushing TDs, Allen has scored 46.68 points !    It is now the new High Player Score after beating out Jonathan Taylor's 46.6 points that was scored just last week !  Phew, by a 0.08 margin !

GAME OF THE WEEK  -  Fourth & Drunk  vs  Goodyear Silents.    Fourth & Drunk has another strong game to keep her winning streak alive !   With QB Josh Allen leading the way (see above), she had good performance from WR Deebo Samuel (13.7 points) but not much else.  Meanwhile, Goodyear is trying very hard to salvage his season but it's a tough struggle.  He had terrific games from RB King Henry (18.2 points), RB James Cook 17.4 points), and TE George Kittle (18.7 points).  Kicker Boswell (10 points) and Eagles defense (11 points) also chipped in.    However, his WR Shakir got a donut for -3 yards and QB Rodgers let him down.   Coming to MNF, Goodyear was ahead 92.74 to 89.48 with Fourth having one player left.  Her kicker Aubrey booted 12 points, so it was enough for her to win, 101.48 to 92.74 for her 5th victory in a row !   She is now definitely in the playoff hunt.

With three weeks remaining (including one more divisional match in week 13), the playoff race is starting to tighten up.  Let's review the current situtation with the divisions.......:

Atlantic:   Mayhem is 10-1 with a two-game lead over Call Of Hutch.  He has one divisional match left with Call Of Hutch but he is still likely to clinch the division.

Great Lake:  The Hawk has his division lead shrunk down to one game.  Plus, all three teams (Hawk, Meanies, Enforcers) has the same 3-2 divisional record.  So it's far from settled.

Pacific:   Fourth & Drunk has forced Bexans into a tie for the division but she is now the current division leader because of her advantage in the divisional tiebreakers (she has both the better division record and better head-to-head points, after splitting the head-to-head with Bexans 1-1).   If she wins all of her remaining games, she will clinch the division. Bexans has no choice but to try to win ahead of her, although he still can clinch a wildcard berth.

The final homestretch begins.   GOOD LUCK NEXT WEEK !!
