Week 2 in the Hotel Hell Fantasy Football League is already heating up, and the early scores hint at some storylines worth watching. Here’s your matchup-by-matchup preview:

North Division Drama

Mad Dogs (0) vs Nigerian Yaks (4.10) The Yaks have drawn first blood thanks to Matt Gay’s early kick, but the Mad Dogs are loaded with Joe Burrow, James Cook, and Derrick Henry — a trio that can erase a small deficit in a hurry. The Yaks will lean on Kyren Williams and Emeka Egbuka to keep the upset bid alive.

Edge: Mad Dogs

Balls of Hate (0) vs HAIRBEAR (30.48) HAIRBEAR came out swinging with Justin Herbert and Breece Hall already piling up points. Balls of Hate will need Patrick Mahomes to go nuclear to close the gap, but with Mahomes facing Philly’s defense, that’s a tall order.

Balls of Hate (0) vs HAIRBEAR (30.48)

Edge: HAIRBEAR

South Division Showdowns

Teddy Ruxpins (1.70) vs Team Blitz-Craig (4.19) A slow start for both squads, but this one’s a heavyweight bout on paper. Teddy Ruxpins have Baker Mayfield and Zay Flowers ready to explode, while Blitz-Craig counters with Kyler Murray, Tyreek Hill, and Ja’Marr Chase — a trio that can flip the scoreboard in minutes.  Ruxpins will need a big Kamara game to swing it.

Edge: Team Blitz-Craig (slight)

Shock Value (51.08) vs Bolsheviks (5) Shock Value is already halfway to a monster week, thanks to early fireworks from Jordan Love and Tucker Kraft. The Bolsheviks will need Bijan Robinson and AJ Brown to go full beast mode to have any shot at a comeback.

Edge: Shock Value

East Division Energy

nWo (0) vs LiQ-ourballs (16.48) LiQ-ourballs are off to a steady start with Zach Ertz contributing early and Josh Allen and Mike Evans waiting in the wings. nWo’s Dak Prescott, Chris Olave and Drake London will need to light it up to keep pace, but the early lead matters here.

Edge: LiQ-ourballs

My Ball Zach Ertz (21.70) vs nWo Wulfpack (0) MBZE is riding early production from Jayden Daniels, while Wulfpack’s Christian McCaffrey and Justin Jefferson haven’t even taken the field yet. This one could turn into a Sunday night thriller. Magner might not know who won since he’s been too busy being on the news.

Edge: nWo Wulfpack (slight)

West Division Wildness

Hamburg Hooligans (9.80) vs Trash Pandas (0) Hooligans have a small lead thanks to Brandon McManus, but the Trash Pandas’ Devon Achane and Puka Nacua are still waiting in the wings and Pandas will need them both to hit big. Expect this one to swing wildly.

Edge: Hamburg Hooligans (slight)

Turbo (0) vs T**m H**s (0) Both teams are in a holding pattern, but with Lamar Jackson and Travis Etienne on Turbo’s side and C.J. Stroud and CeeDee Lamb for T**m H**s, this could be the most explosive matchup once the games kick off.  Turbo’s depth with Charbonnet and Fairbairn’s kicking edge tips the scales.  Hopefully, both teams find a way to lose.

Edge: Turbo
