420AllStars vs Ski-Bobs

Here we are week 9 in the RFL and in last weeks game of the week we had a close one as Millennium Force defeated Going Postal 64-59. Last weeks high scorers with 107 points was the Ski-Bobs. Last week in NFL Pickem we had 5 teams at the top with 9-4 marks. For the season in pickem Brian holds a 3 game edge with Brett in second. And now.......on to the games!!!!!!

RFL GAME OF THE WEEK 

420AllStars (7-1-0) vs Ski-Bobs (6-2-0)

 It's a show down of the current top two teams in the power rankings as the 420AllStars head into battle with everyone's favorite commish and his Ski-Bobs in the RFL Game of the Week! The 420AllStars come in to this one off their first loss of the season as they put up a season low 24 points. As a result the high ones dropped from first to second in the current RFL power rankings, but still hold the top record at 7-1. Meawhile the Ski-Bobs come in on a 4 game winning streak and have moved to the top spot in the power rankings. These two clubs have combined for seven 100 point games already this season. These two long time franchises have met 16 times past and the all time series sits in favor of the Ski-Bobs 11-5-0. The 420AllStars have won 3 straight and 4 of past 5 in this series including a 63-44 victory over the Ski-Bobs in last years round 1 playoff game.

Killer Klowns (3-4-1) vs The Dinks (4-4-0)

It's the Killer Klowns taking to the gridiron to face off with our reigning, defending, undisputed RFL Champions, those cocky, arrogant Dinks in this top notch RFL East division matchup. The Killer Klowns come into this one off a tough tie after a late game collapse last week. The Klowns have fallen to 12th in the current power rankings despite being just a half game out of their division lead. Meanwhile the Dinks come in off back to back losses and currently sit 10th in the power rankings but still sit atop the East division as they continue to try and become first ever repeat RFL Champions. These two division rivals have met 15 times past and the all time series sits tied 7-7-1. The Killer Klowns have won 3 straight in this series including a 2 game sweep last season.

Mike's Football Club (2-5-1) vs Going Postal (5-3-0)

It's the upstart Mike's Football Club heading into battle with those crazy, insane mailmen, Going Postal in this stellar RFL tilt. Mike's Football Club come into this one off a big late comeback last week netted them a tie. Despite being the 3rd highest scoring team thus far MFC sits at 2-5-1. MFC currently sits 3rd in the power rankings. Meanwhile, Going Postal come in off a tough division loss last week. The mailmen currently sit 6th in the power rankings. These two franchises have met just 3 times past and the all time series sits in favor of Mike's Football Club 3-0-0. So the mailmen will be looking for first ever victory over MFC.

Penetrating Nubs (2-6-0) vs Millennium Force (5-3-0)

It's those pesky Penetrating Nubs taking to the gridiron to go to war with Brett's boys from Arizona, Millennium Force in this big time RFL matchup. The Penetrating Nubs come into this one having lost 3 of past 4 games as they continue to try to get past some bad injury luck. The Nubs currently sit 5th in the power rankings despite their 2-6 record. Meanwhile, Millennium Force come in off a nice comback win and have now won 4 of past 5 games. Millennium Force currently sit 9th in the power rankings. These two franchises have met 11 times past and the all time series sits in favor of the Penetrating Nubs 6-5-0. The Pharmers come into this one off a big win which ended their 3 game losing streak. The Pharmers currently sit 4th in the power rankings. Meanwhile, Bang Zoom To The Moon come in off a solid victory and currently sit 8th in the power rankings. These two long time franchises and division rivals have met 31 times past and the all time series sits in favor of Bang Zoom To The moon 15-14-2. The Zoomers have won the past two games in this series including a 57-45 win over the Pharmers earlier this season back in week 2.

Monsterskees (4-4-0) vs Umagan Resurrection (1-7-0)

Our final matchup this week pits the Monsterskees up against Derr-Wahh and his Umagan Resurrection in this fine RFL tilt. The Monsterskees come in having won 4 of past 5 games after an 0-3 start to get right into the thick of the playoff hunt. The Monsterskees currently sit 7th in the power rankings. Mesnwhile, the Umagan Resurrection come in having lost 6 straight games and are pretty much in win out mode to make the playoffs. The Resurrection currently sit 11th in the power rankings. These two charter franchises have met 13 times past and the all time series sits in favor of the Monsterskees 7-5-1. The Monsterskees won last season's matchup by a score of 66-43.
