Cobra Kai Still Striking Hard at the Top

As the season heats up, the standings in our fantasy league are starting to take shape and a few clear contenders are separating from the pack. Let's break down how each team stacks up after Week 6 based on the latest Power Index.

1. Cobra Kai (5-1)  Power Index: 1.000

Strike first, strike hard, no mercy! Cobra Kai continues to dominate both in record and consistency. With a strong 5-1 start and 574 total points, they're proving to be the most balanced team in the league. Their roster strength and favorable schedule keep them poised for another win streak.

2. 50 Shades of Great (3-3) Power Index: 0.851

Don't let the .500 record fool you 50 Shades of Great has quietly assembled one of the top-scoring rosters in the league (585 points). A few tough matchups early on kept them from a better record, but the metrics suggest this team is heating up fast.

3. Spanky Rookies (4-2) Power Index: 0.846

The Spanky Rookies have been pounding out wins with solid performances week after week, tallying an impressive 615 points the most in the league so far. With a little more consistency, they could easily climb to the top spot in the weeks ahead.

4. Mt. Vernon Maulers (2-4) Power Index: 0.780

Despite a losing record, the Maulers underlying numbers suggest a team better than their 2-4 mark. They've faced a tough schedule but continue to put up competitive totals. Don't count them out yet.

5. Manklinkoes (3-3) Power Index: 0.733

The Manklinkoes are the definition of middle-of-the-pack flashes of brilliance one week, inconsistency the next. With some lineup tweaks, they could make a solid playoff push in the second half of the season.

6. Two Dogs (4-2) Power Index: 0.723

Two Dogs are quietly sitting at 4-2 but rank sixth in power due to some softer matchups. Still, with a 579-point total and a favorable schedule ahead, they're in a strong position heading into the midseason stretch.

7. Funky Monks (5-1) Power Index: 0.691

Record-wise, the Monks are tied for the best in the league but their low point total (556) and strength-of-schedule rating suggest they may be skating on thin ice. Can they keep up the good vibes, or will regression hit soon?

8. Mr. Swift's Fantasy Experience (3-3) Power Index: 0.652

With a league-leading 643 points scored, Mr. Swift's Fantasy Experience might be the unluckiest team around. Their opponents keep matching their firepower. If the touchdowns start falling their way, they could quickly rise in the standings.

9. Brooklyn Bombers (1-5) Power Index: 0.566

The Bombers are struggling to find consistency, ranking near the bottom in both record and power metrics. There's talent on this roster, but they'll need a turnaround soon to avoid being eliminated from playoff contention.

10. Amaraqs (0-6) Power Index: 0.471

It's been a tough start for the Amaraqs, who are still searching for their first win. Scoring just 489 points so far, they'll need to find some spark or a major waiver wire miracle to climb out of the cellar.
