The second half of the league regular season started with a bang as the league's best first half team continued their domination.  The Toughes took the hammer to Goof Troop in week 8 with a 54-point victory.  Jonathan Taylor backed up a 23-point performance in week 7 with a 26-point week 8.  finally dropping a contest in week 8. The win keeps the Toughes on top of the Bobcats Division and the entire league with a 6-2 record.  The Hippopotami Stampede kept pace after a comfortable win over Swany's Stompers.  Chads Team continued their slide and is now 1-7 after falling to Denny's Benny's 58-40 and Bo Nix. Speed's Bumps to out Byron's Boyz by 2 points and lead the Goats Division by a game.  The Boyz still lead the Sharks Division by two games over the Dust Bunnies.  The league average through 8 weeks is 61 points per game.  The Toughes put up 105 points in week 8 and now have the high score for the season to date. The Filet-O-Goats were hard luck losers in week 8 after putting up 64 points in their loss to Stafler. On to week 9 where there will be four teams on bye.  Good Luck!

The waiver wire option is used until Wednesday at 10:00.  Then, starting Thursday at 3:00AM, the add/drop option is used.  The waiver wire order for the week is posted under “reports/waiver wire”.  The players added and dropped are found on the site in the transactions tab.  Dropped players are not eligible for pick up until the following week.  If there are any issues or questions with scoring, wait until the league verifies stats, usually on Thursday afternoon.  If you think there is a mistake after that, let me know and I will check into it.  Just as a warning, you may not want to drop a player during the waiver process prior to Wednesday 10:00PM in case you don’t get the desired player to replace him.  Also, remember to put in a tie-breaker.  I would hate to see a game decided by this.
