The NDFFL would like to announce a golden opportunity created by one of our esteemed General Managers.

Alex Hayden, a 15 year veteran of the NDFFL and one time Kolodij Trophy winner has opened “Hula with Alex”, swinging class lessons on how to use the hula hoop.

“It’s a fun activity that promotes fitness by toning the core muscles, improves balance and boosts cardiovascular health,” Hayden said. “It’s also a great way to burn calories and contribute to weight loss.”

Alex also announced a partnership with Advanced Wellness of Freehold, NJ. Advanced Wellness can offer pain management treatments and injections, physical therapy, and chiropractic care in the event of injuries while “hooping.”

“I have incorporated different classes to suit each individual’s needs.  I offer a Beginner hoops class, Weighted hoops classes, Smart Hoops classes (hoops with built in sensors) and a class for small children with Light Up Hoops,” Hayden bragged. “I’m also available for parties and private lessons.”

“I’m also offering a FREE first class for any NDFFL member who is interested,” Alex said.

“Just recently I had Chris “Big Country” Smith from the NDFFL take me up on the offer. He  came in without any knowledge of hooping and surprised me with his agility. He was originally like a bull in a China shop, knocking over and destroying some of our office décor. It took him a few minutes to get his hips going but, after a few minutes, he was soon using three light up hoops at the same time. I’m hoping he returns for more lessons, the office will be more Country-proofed this time.”

“Fortunately, our insurance carrier has advised that they will be covering the entire total of the damaged items caused by Twirling Country.
