I just wanted to make a potential time change to the message I sent above. I mentioned having the draft at 12 PM PST. We can do that but we did have it last year at 9 AM. For you east coasters, obviously it would be at 12 EST. I thought it worked out well last year. We all had the rest of our Saturday to enjoy when we did it in the morning. Obviously the time will be set that can accomodate everybody but I would love to have it again at 9. Looking forward to hearing back from you all.

Hello everybody. I hope everyone is doing well. It is June 11. Before we know it, the draft and season will be upon us. I know the first game of the NFL season is Thursday Sept 5. I want us to get ahead of the "game" and get your opinions on some dates. I know last year we had the draft on Saturday August 26. Looking at the calendar the date this year would be Saturday August 24. This falls in line with what we did last year, as it was a week and a half before the Thursday night game. Labor Day weekend is the following week. There is a chacne some of us will be out of town.  I thought last year's date and time 12 PST worked out well (Those on the east coast seemed to survive!). I would love to know what everybody thinks and if there are any conflicts.

Secondly, I just want to remind everyone if you have not submitted a vote for the waiver wire opotions, please do when you have time. The poll is up on the main page. Six teams have submitted a vote at this time.

Hello everybody. I hope you are doing well. Now that the NFL draft is over and you are all in the middle of doing your research for that 10 th round gem, I just want to remind you that the league will be here before we know it! On the path to 50 years!

Last year there were some concerns about the way the waiver wire worked. Unfortunately I overlooked how the format was going to be done before the season started. In the past the order was done from lowest in the standings to highest. This past season it was set for the team that had the lowest point seasonal total to have priority. I can see the logic for both sides (standings or point total). I'm not going to get into that. I just hope everybody can see it.

I posted three options in the poll. Worst to first. Lowest to highest points. Blind bidding with an acquisition budget.
I hope we all think about the positives and negatives of all three. Doing something new with the last option could be fun and add more strategy to the league but again the poll is up for a reason. Just something I hope we consider with an open mind.

Best,
Chris
