For sure on that brother! (not playing any of the Bengals that is!). And I'm all for an increase... I"ll propose it now to you so its on the record. I propose $300 per team for next year but Double Double must pay $500 to stay in the league! :)
Double Double - in 2019, both the Faulk Rule (combined yardage = 150) and the Mid-Season Supplemental Draft after Week 9 were voted out (see pg 22 of the updated rule book). I did not realize I could change the attachment under the "Rules" area as the editor screen asks to upload an image file - but it allowed me to upload the Doc. Thanks for catching that!
I do post the annual rule book in the league archives at the conclusion of each season and try to remember to email the annual update to everyone after the summer meeting and before the draft.
Please let me know if you see anything else that needs a refresh and I'll do my best!

Also, if I understand the offensive bonus rules, we might have missed the Faulk rule by 5 yds? 😬
I decided after 5+ year of sub-mediocrity, that I'd actually read the rules for this wacky league. I stumbled upon the following rule, which to my knowledge, has never transpired during my time as co-owner. Does it still exist?
(from the 2018 Bylaws on our website)
5.3 Mid-Season Supplemental Draft
There will be a supplemental free draft after NFL Week #9. This draft will consist of three rounds and is optional. Franchises dropping three players can participate in the all three rounds; franchises dropping two players can participate in the second and third round; franchises dropping only player can only participate in the third round. You must drop a player for each one you pick to maintain a legal roster. If you do not drop a player in the first round, you cannot participate in the later rounds. Draft order is based on current point standings and starts with the lowest team and alternates like the regular draft. If a team skips a round, they cannot participate in later rounds.
As of 2012, if you miss the Supplemental Draft, you can make up to three free picks later in that same week. Selection is “first come, first served” for the post-Supplemental free picks and teams that participated in the supplemental are not eligible for the ‘free transactions.’
Congrats Pinkies on hitting the Offensive Bonus. Of course, it had to come against me! Hopefully I can return the favor in Week 14!
The transactions have been sorted out for EBB and TC. I'll keep an eye on the transaction report later today to see if any additional roster adjustments are made.
Ha ha ha! Bug indeed! I'll be writing to the vendor today to get a control put in place for transactions put in place for IR Waiver Wire submissions. Nice catch.

I see what you're saying. The system should have probably given you that warning when you were creating the potential waiver wire swap. Given that The Close are offering to unwind things, I'll go with that approach. I can add Jennings to your roster but need to know what non-IR player to release. Let me know and I'll make the adjustments.
Close: Is there another move you'd like or do you just want Guerendo back on your roster?
Let me know!

Kinger - we can talk but I followed your instruction and the system allowed me to choose the IR player. I’d don’t even think about it. You’re call but look at the messages and the way the system works, let your conscience be your guide!! Lol
Rick - technically, an IR Player is not on your active roster. You had a full complement of 15 players + 1 IR slot filled. Thus, you did not have an open spot to place Jennings since you tried to release your IR Player. Its a similar situation if you tried to move Mitchell back to your active roster, you'd need to drop a player or move someone else to your IR slot.
Let me know if we need to connect to sort things out.

Wow! That totally blows! Sorry to hear that Smig!
I can email you the two recruiters I'm working with for my next opportunity to see if they have anything. My end date at WF will be Tues 10/29 - its strange to know its coming (I've known since 8/2!) but on the flip side, with severance, I'm paid thru March Madness.
I think some mid-afternoon beers may be in order in Marin to celebrate Free Agency :)

Our IR is a single-player slot. If you drop an IR Player, there is no point penalty for that move and it can be done as part of the standard waiver wire process. You can also swap the IR players to drop the initial player, if desired.
East Bay Beast wrote:
What’s the ruling if you already have someone on IR and you have another player go out? Do you drop and pickup and get the point deduction?
That was exactly what I saw. The 49ers game was a 1:25 start which can be confirmed by looking under the NFL Menu in our software and scrolling down to Player Track. They include kickoff times for each game. Thus, under the wire so it was good in my book.
The other report that can be used is under Reports then Lineup Changes. That shows the time that the software registers a lineup change.
With the NFL staggering start times, it can be tricky to keep track of last-minute roster changes.

That is correct and I see the IR designation for Wright in the software. No deduction for that move.

Commish- double double moved Wright to IR and picked up Anders Carlson in his place. I believe no point deduction on this one.
Inactive Player Potential: Mike Evans may be inactive on Monday night. If that happens, I'd swap in Brian Robinson. If by chance, Robinson also goes inactive, the replacement player would then be Josh Palmer on Mon night.
Punt Returns are Special Teams play and therefore that would be a Defensive Score. That used to be the rub against people like Eric Metcalf who could score on ST but rarely scored as an Offensive Player.

Makes sense with that explanation. I was looking at rushing TD of 20 is 10 pts.

Hey. Couldn't respond just to you from phone app. In APAC last week and this. Flying home on Saturday. Let me look when I get to Dubai tomorrow at the overall impact. Possible trade for sure.
It looks like the vendor has updated the points for Gibbs and credited him with a receiving TD. 10 points for the TD and 3 pts for rushing yardage = 13 points. Let me know if there are more questions.

I'll keep an eye on the scoring and see what the vendor does overnight. Worst case - I can manually add the 10 pts for the scoring play.

WTF! In Week 2, Proxy puts up 33 pts on Thursday night against me. Week 3 Bling Bling throws down 26.5. If this keeps up, its going to be a very long season for Killers.
It was an exciting week. My game came down to the wire and I saw a few others that were nail biters.
Oh fuck, I just realized that if I moved Keaton Mitchel to IR it would not have cost a point to pickup a new player. The point cost me to tie!!!
Hi guys, I'll have the weekly commissioners note posted on Tuesday evening. Apologies for the delays!
Team Proxy takes the week with a whopping 125 against me. Nice job!
Good question. The rule was intended to be for "same team" situations where you have one player who will potentially be inactive in a later game and to avoid the late SOL player, you would designate one of your bench players to replace them in an earlier game.
In your case, you are trying to decide if a player on another team goes inactive, you want to activate the handcuff player. That is tricky and not an aspect that we discussed but I'm open to supporting that angle since handcuffs aren't always on the same team in our league. So if you can either post a note or email me and your competitor something like, "If CMC goes inactive, play Mason and bench X".
The second aspect of your message is that both team owners will be unavailable on Sunday. Life happens and we're here to have fun and with connectivity today, it should be rare. Casey may not have access on a flight to London, for example, so we should have a plan. I am open to an email / message board note that identifies 'no access' and here is a roster change that I'd like to implement if someone goes inactive at kickoff. If it's an extended trip (ex. Solo owner Rick might miss 2 weekends to climb Denali), and you submit a lineup for Week A, you can send me a note to identify your lineup for Week B and I'll make the updates. If there's an injury in Week A, inclusion of a contingent player would be helpful. If you have 2 QB on your roster and one goes down, its a no brainer but if you start 1 RB and he gets hurt, if you have 2 backup RB, you might not want me doing that coin flip - but that's how I'll handle it unless I can clearly rule someone out (Bye Week). Thus, the contingent player (and you'd probably want to do the same at WR!). Your other option for an extended leave? Find another owner in the league to be your proxy and let me know who they are. They can then tell me who to play for you. I'm open to both approaches.
Let me know if there are any questions.
