For discussion:  We proposed last year, prior to the draft, as part of new business, that we would change the draft this year.  We did not have all the details finalized.  I believe we agreed we would work out the details. I believe we voted and passed it.  I offer the information below as an attempt to reconstruct it.   I do not believe the proposal is finalized.  We discussed that instead of holding over 2 players indefinitely, we would move to holding over players based on previous year's draft.  Your drafted players could be held over for one year at the draft position they were drafted at.  Your 3rd round pick could be held over as this year's 3rd round pick, 4th for a fourth, etc. Players could not be held over more than one year. We did not discuss what to do about Rounds 1 and 2 given they were hold overs.  We did not discuss directly what to do about players we acquired through free agency.  The rationale for this change was to create some additional interest in the league.  I had shared that one of my other leagues does it and it is easily more interesting and rewards good drafting. Initially, there was discussion that we should not do this - why change.  As we discussed it further - more owners were interested in it, and my memory is it passed - with the understanding it was not a finished product.   We don't have to start it this year.  We can also choose not to do it.  We can choose to do it because we passed the new rule.  It is an open discussion.  What is your memory of it?

Good morning,

The 2025 Draft has been set!  This is our 36th year and going strong!  We will draft on our usual date, the Wednesday after Labor Day.  This is September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. at Golden Valley Doolittles.  I will set up a reservation for 10 people.  Please be there on time.

We had discussed a new rule for drafting - not sure if we start it this year with last year's draft or this year with this year's draft.  We can discuss at the draft.  I will bring last year's draft info just in case.

We are increasing the league fee to $110 per Jeffrey's suggestion.  If you recall, this increase will result in $100 being donated to a charity selected by the league champion on behalf of our PSFL. The league champion will need to notify the rest of the owners who they donated to.

See you in a couple weeks!  Skol!

Commish.
