Chokers, your transaction for Hopkins has been reversed. The Flipper rule instituted several years ago was that if you get a player, he must remain on your roster through his next game. AND the Waxter rule was that if a player has already played his game that week, he is not subject to being dropped. This keeps you from having a roster access that is greater than 20 players.
We have gamed this system over the years and have had rules named after us, in bad ways. There is a Rosko rule that says stop making transactions after the playoffs start. That is down the road. There is an Abdinoor rule that says you can only change your coach 3 times in any one year. There is a rule named after your brother that says when you finish last in the league because you suck at this game and continuously fall asleep during the draft, you will have to buy food for everyone at the next year's draft.
OK then. When Mr. Contardi sees a guy he wants, he gets him. Leaving no doubt about that!
Transaction reminder. Remember, you cannot add or drop players (or even trade players) without a corresponding drop or add.
The rule being that you should always have 20 players on your roster. NO MORE, NO LESS. Don't drop someone on Wednesday night and then grab a Free Agent at 10:01 am on Thursday morning. Just sayin'.
Have a great weekend!
Now I get it. Score the second least amount of points and kick the boohooing Bruisers in the shins to get a victory. This league is whacked.
