Player Notes
Jan 16 10:50am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught four of six targets for 21 yards and a touchdown during the team's 9-32 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 28-year-old did leave the game late in the fourth quarter with a knee injury, but there were no hopes for a comeback at that point, so the severity of his injury is unknown. Goedert had a few drops in this contest and was visibly upset with quarterback Jalen Hurts at one point during the second half. Goedert set a career-high in receptions despite missing three games in 2023, but he saw his yards per target take a big hit and failed to reach 600 receiving yards for the first time since 2020. With plenty of turnover coming in Philadelphia, Goedert will remain one of the staples of the Eagles' offense at the start of the 2024 regular season.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert posted four receptions for 21 yards and a touchdown on six targets in the NFC Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, Jan. 15.

From TheHuddle

Jan 12 9:00pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the NFL playoffs. The 28-year-old was active last week but was on the field for less than 40% of the snaps. After A.J. Brown (knee) left due to injury, Goedert followed suit in an effort to conserve one of the team's top receivers. He could be needed in a big way on Monday, as Brown has yet to return to practice. Tampa Bay struggled mightily to stop opposing tight ends this past regular season, as they gave up the third-most fantasy points to the position. Goedert caught five of seven targets for 41 yards against them in their first meeting back in Week 3 but could see an even higher target share if Brown is ruled out. Goedert has been hit or miss this year, but he will be a popular DFS option during the first round of the playoffs.

Jan 7 8:00pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught one of three targets for a four-yard gain during the team's 10-27 loss to the New York Giants. The Eagles' offense was out of sync all game without DeVonta Smith (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (illness) but got even worse once A.J. Brown (knee) went down early in the contest. The natural thought would be to throw the ball to the next most talented receiver, but with Jalen Hurts (finger) being pulled once the game was out of reach, the 28-year-old was barely involved the rest of the game. Goedert could be a big part of the offense next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the status of Brown and Smith currently unknown. He will be a top play in daily fantasy formats during Wild Card weekend.

From RotoBaller

Jan 5 9:20pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the New York Giants in Week 18. The 28-year-old has averaged seven targets per game since returning from a forearm injury and now should see a target bump with No. 2 wide receiver DeVonta Smith (ankle) out for the regular season finale. Goedert has already had a solid game against the Giants this season, catching seven of nine targets for 71 yards against them in Week 16. No other Eagles receiver has stepped up and been a consistent force this season outside of Smith, Goedert, and A.J. Brown, so expect Philadelphia to force-feed their top two options with one now missing. Goedert should be considered a top-five option in Week 18.

From RotoBaller

Dec 31 6:30pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught five of six targets for 47 yards and a touchdown during the team's 35-31 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The 28-year-old found the end zone for the first time since Week 7 and led the team in targets on Sunday. Despite a solid performance, Goedert was one of the few bright spots of the Eagles' offense during the upset loss. After the game, DeVonta Smith (foot) was spotted in a walking boot and sporting a pair of crutches. If he were to sit out the season finale, Goedert should see an increase in usage in the Eagles rematch against the New York Giants. The veteran will remain in the TE1 mix heading into the final week of the regular season.

From RotoBaller

Dec 31 4:43pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert ended up with five grabs for 47 yards and a touchdown on six targets in Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals. It was his first touchdown since Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins.

From TheHuddle

Dec 29 9:40pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will face off against the Arizona Cardinals in the team's final home game of the season in Week 17. The 28-year-old has been targeted nine times in each of the past two games and recorded his third-highest yardage total of the season last week in a win over the Giants. Goedert has found the end zone just two times all year and has not scored since Week 7 against the Dolphins, so his top-five upside on a weekly basis has been capped this year. However, due to his high target share, the sixth-year tight end will remain a TE1 heading into the weekend. Arizona has been solid against tight ends this year but is tied for the fifth-most touchdowns allowed to the position. Fantasy managers should start Goedert with confidence heading into what is the fantasy football title game for most.

From RotoBaller

Dec 25 8:33pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert caught seven passes for 71 yards against the New York Giants in Week 16. He was targeted nine times during the game.

From TheHuddle

Dec 25 8:30pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught seven of nine targets for 71 yards during the team's 33-25 win over the New York Giants. The 28-year-old ended the day with the most receptions on the team and has had nine targets in each of the past two weeks. Goedert has not found the end zone since Week 7, but when the Eagles get within scoring range, they usually score on the ground. The high target share is encouraging for fantasy managers who are counting on the South Dakota alum heading into Week 17. The Cardinals are tied for the fifth-most touchdowns allowed to tight ends this season, making Goedert a fringe-top six option heading into fantasy football championships.

From RotoBaller

Dec 24 8:30am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has combined to catch eight passes for 60 yards in his two games since returning from a fractured forearm. Goedert will now take on the New York Giants at home in one of Week 16's three Monday games. The Giants have been tough on tight ends in 2023 as they are allowing just the 27th-most fantasy points per game to the position. That being said, Goedert remains in the TE1 conversation thanks to the lack of quality fantasy tight ends across the league and the explosive Philly offense. Treat him as a low-end TE1 for Week 16.

From RotoBaller

Dec 19 9:00am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught four of nine targets for 30 yards during the team's 17-20 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The 28-year-old tied his highest target total of the season in Week 15 but failed to do much with them against the Seahawks. Seeing Goedert receiver the second-highest target share on the team behind A.J. Brown was encouraging, but he will continue to see his target share fluctuate depending on the game plan due to DeVonta Smith's involvement. The Eagles' offense is in shambles at the moment, but they have three games against below-average opponents to finish the year and try to correct it. All Eagles skill players will remain on the fantasy radar next week against the Giants, with Goedert being a mid to low-tier TE1.

From RotoBaller

Dec 18 11:43pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert ended up with four receptions for 30 yards on nine targets in Week 15 against the Seattle Seahawks, and he also had a 1-yard rush on his only attempt.

From TheHuddle

Dec 15 8:20pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 on Monday night. The 28-year-old returned from a forearm injury last week against the Dallas Cowboys and caught all four of his targets for 30 yards. It was a quiet outing for the veteran as he tied for his second-lowest target share of the season, but his workload should increase the further that he is removed from his injury. The Seahawks are middle of the pack in fantasy points per game allowed to the tight end position, so this matchup is not one that should scare fantasy managers away from starting Goedert. However, unless he can net a higher target share, he should be considered more of a low-end TE1 rather than a surefire top-six option in Week 15.

From RotoBaller

Dec 11 9:10am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught all four of his targets for a gain of 30 yards during the team's 13-33 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14. The 28-year-old had missed the last three games after injuring his forearm in Week 9 during the season's first game between these two teams. The four targets tied the second-fewest he had seen all season, but it is fair to say the Eagles did not work him back into the offense at full capacity in his first game back. The schedule for Philadelphia is much easier over the next month compared to the last, leaving Goedert in TE1 territory the rest of the way. Consider the Eagles' top tight end a top-12 option against Seattle next week.

From RotoBaller

Dec 10 11:43pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) was back in the lineup for Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys, and he posted four receptions for 30 yards on his four targets after a three-game absence.

From TheHuddle

Dec 9 11:23am ET

Philadephia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) will play in Week 14's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Spin: Goedert was removed from the injury report after fully participating in all three of the team's practice sessions during the week and is set to play in his first game since Week 9, which also happened to be versus the Cowboys. He should see a decent number of targets Sunday night and can be viewed as a TE1 option in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 8 4:03pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (forearm) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 8, and is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Goedert will return to the lineup after missing the last few games because of the injury. He should see a good amount of targets this week and likely will be a No. 1 tight end in fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Dec 8 11:40am ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14 on Sunday night. The 28-year-old suffered a forearm injury back in Week 9 when these two teams last met but has been a full participant in practice this week and looks poised to make his return. In just about one half of football, Goedert caught three of four targets for 50 yards and was on his way to a solid fantasy performance before suffering the injury. Dallas allows the 13th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this year and is tied for the third-most touchdowns allowed to the position. Even if his snaps are limited in his first week back, fantasy managers can throw the Eagles starting tight end right back into their lineups in Week 14.

From RotoBaller

Dec 7 5:50pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight ends Dallas Goedert (forearm), Jack Stoll (knee) and Grant Calcaterra (ankle) all practiced in full and should play in Week 14 in a huge divisional matchup against the rival Dallas Cowboys. Goedert is still on Injured Reserve, but it's likely a formality that he'll be officially activated by Saturday and make his return to the lineup for the first time since fracturing his right forearm in Week 9. The 28-year-old could have his snaps limited somewhat in his first game back this weekend, but fantasy managers should be looking to get him back into their starting lineups immediately. Goedert was injured in the Week 9 game against Dallas and finished with three catches on four targets for 50 yards. When fully healthy, he's the No. 3 receiving option behind wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
