2019 RTSports Outlook

Moore got some chances to serve as a deep threat and made some big plays. He caught just 26 passes but averaged 17.1 yards per reception and scored five touchdowns. He was the No. 4 receiver much of the year and likely serves that role again this year. He could challenge for the No. 3 job but likely will play spot duty as a deep threat for the offense. Moore is a speedy receiver that can stretch the field in a hurry. He isn't much of a route runner and will need to shore up that area to get more work.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Moore should post similar numbers to last year, making him a bit of a stretch for fantasy teams. If he were a tad higher on the depth chart, his value would look better for fantasy teams. For now, look for around 30 catches for 450 yards and three touchdowns.

RotoBaller's Outlook

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore was a popular dart throw player in DFS during the 2018 NFL season. In the mid-way point of the season, Moore provided some punch for very little price and even was seen picked up off of waivers. But outside of his decent four-game totals (Weeks 5, 6, 8, and 12) he was largely useless in fantasy. Now, as we enter the 2019 season, Moore is looking to take a step forward with the retirement of Doug Baldwin. But with the selection of rookie wideoutD.K. Metcalf, his ascension on the roster may be blocked. Moore will again be in a position to provide value, but consistency will be an issue. He will be worth a look late in redraft leagues, but ultimately will be a player that is on and off waivers this year. Moore may appear to be a deep sleeper with opportunity but he could easily fall behind Metcalf and even Jaron Brown, who has drawn rave reviews this offseason. It's best to leave Moore alone outside of dynasty leagues.

Seattle Seahawks WR David Moore (shoulder) is on track to play Sunday, Sept. 22.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 4:40pm ET

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that wide receiver David Moore (shoulder) has a "really good chance" to play in Week 3 against the Saints. If Moore makes his debut in Week 3, he'll likely be limited in three-wide sets with Tyler Lockett and rookie D.K. Metcalf, although Moore will likely be the third receiving option, at best. He's one to watch in deeper leagues, but he shouldn't be in any starting lineups if he gets cleared for Sunday's game. Jaron Brown, who hasn't caught a single pass in the first two games, will rightfully fall down the depth chart with Moore returning.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore (shoulder) practiced well this week and could return in Week 3, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Moore could become a fixture in three-receiver sets with Tyler Lockett and rookie D.K. Metcalf when he's healthy, but he's realistically only an option for those in deep leagues in a run-first offense. The 24-year-old seventh-round pick in 2017 caught 26 passes for 445 yards and five touchdowns last year. Metcalf has more upside and is the better stash for fantasy owners. Moore missed the Week 1 season opener and will sit out again in Week 2 against the Steelers.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore (shoulder) was limited in practice on Wednesday. It's a good sign for Moore, but he's expected to miss Week 2 and possibly Week 3. In this run-first offense, Moore should be found on the waiver wire right now in most every league. Tyler Lockett (back) is also banged up after seeing just two targets in the season opener. It's looking like D.K. Metcalf will have a real early season role in this passing attack, and he's worth a flier off the waiver wire if he's available in your league.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver David Moore (arm) will not play in Week 1 against the Bengals and will also miss Week 2. Head coach Pete Carroll is optimistic that Moore will have a decent chance to return in Week 3 or after, though. Tyler Lockett should be in all fantasy lineups for the season opener in a good matchup with the Bengals, while Jaron Brown, Malik Turner and rookie D.K. Metcalf and John Ursua should have more opportunities to begin the year as well. Brown and Metcalf are simply dart throws as WR4/flex types to begin the season in deeper leagues.

From RotoBaller

Seattle Seahawks WR David Moore (arm) has been ruled out for Week 1 and won't play in Week 2 either, according to head coach Pete Carroll. However, Carroll expressed optimism Moore will have a 'decent chance' to play after that.

Seattle Seahawks WR David Moore (arm) remains sidelined after suffering a broken humerus bone. 'Nothing is going to change for a while,' head coach Pete Carroll said Monday, Sept. 2. 'He had a crack in his shoulder, so he's just got to wait it out. He feels pretty darn (good). That's the problem with it. It's not hindering him in any way and there's no displacement. Like I said, he's going to feel like he's ready to play in a week or so but he's not going to be able to.'
