Hopkins had a big first season with the Browns. He made an impressive 91.7 percent of his field goals and scored 123 points, which was the 12th best number for kickers. And he missed the last two games of the season because of injury. Hopkins has 120-plus points three seasons in the NFL. He has not been the most consistent kicker but is showing well later in his career. He should get first shot to start for the Browns once again. Hopkins has a strong leg and improving accuracy. He might miss a few kicks he should make but his overall game is solid these days.
FANTASY OUTLOOK: Hopkins might be hard pressed to repeat last year but is worth a look for fantasy teams if you want to wait on a kicker. He could have another big season. Expect around 120 points for now but he could exceed that number.

The Cleveland Browns and kicker Dustin Hopkins have agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com. It's a well-deserved payday for the veteran kicker as he cashes in following the best season of his career. Over 15 games in 2023, he made 33 of 36 field-goal attempts (91.7%) while going 24-for-26 on extra points (92.3%). He ultimately finished as the No. 9 kicker in terms of fantasy points despite missing two games. Hopkins represents a solid draft pick in the later rounds of 2024 fantasy drafts.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that kicker Dustin Hopkins (hamstring) has recovered from the torn hamstring that he suffered on Christmas Eve last year against the Houston Texans that sidelined him for the rest of the season and the playoff loss. Despite being recovered from the injury, Hopkins was a notable absence during organized team activities this week. The Browns also have kickers Cade York and Lucas Havrisik on the current roster, but barring injury, the 33-year-old Hopkins figures to be the team's starting kicker in Week 1 of the 2024 regular season. Despite missing the final two games of the regular season last year, Hopkins finished as the No. 12 fantasy kicker by making 33 of his 36 field goal-attempts and 24 of his 26 extra-point tries. He'll be a fringe fantasy kicker in drafts this fall.
