Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown could be a sneaky flex play in a high-scoring Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys. Brown was not heavily involved in last week's win over the Colts, catching just one pass for 10 yards, but he could be more involved in a game with the highest total of the week. The Cowboys offense is fourth in points per game and first in yards per game this season, meaning that the passing game should be busy on Thursday. Brown has found the endzone for times this season and has been the WR2 on the team at various times, so his usage can vary from game to game. Brown will also benefit from a Cowboys defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Brown is ranked WR66 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him more of a desperation flex option this week.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown will take on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12. Brown had a serviceable performance in Week 11, catching four passes for 40 yards against the Denver Broncos. While he did not have a big game, Brown finished third on the team in receiving yards against a tough opponent. Fellow wide receiver Xavier Worthy got a full practice in on Friday but is officially listed as questionable, which could boost Brown's fantasy value. Brown could fill the field-stretching role while Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce compete for the short and intermediate targets against Indianapolis. The Colts defense is an advantageous matchup, allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Brown is currently ranked WR64 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a desperation flex candidate, but that ranking would climb dramatically if Worthy is ruled out.

Nov 11 9:10pm CT

After failing to reach 50 receiving yards in any game between Week 2 and Week 8, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown hauled in two catches for 73 yards on four targets in his team's Week 9 loss to the Buffalo Bills. However, with Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy ahead of him on the Chiefs' wide receiver depth chart, Brown's upside coming out of Kansas City's Week 10 bye is limited. He has not earned more than four targets in any game since Rice returned from the suspension that sidelined him for the first six games of 2025. Brown's big-play ability allows him to maintain some level of fantasy relevance. Still, he will be difficult to trust on a week-to-week basis as long as Kansas City's top pass-game targets can stay on the field. The Chiefs have a tough matchup in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos, making Brown a player for fantasy managers to avoid.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 1:40pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown has recorded 32 catches for 316 yards and four touchdowns on 49 targets across his first eight games of 2025. However, Brown has seen his role in the offense shrink in recent weeks. After earning at least five targets in each of his first five games of the season, Brown has failed to reach the five-target mark in each of his last three. He was held without a catch on just one target in his most recent outing in Week 8 against the Washington Commanders. With Chiefs wideouts Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy back from the suspension and injury that limited their participation early in the season, Brown appears likely to remain in a marginalized role. Kansas City will play the Buffalo Bills in Week 9 in a matchup that has definite shootout potential. Still, Brown is unlikely to provide fantasy-relevant production if he fails to crack 40% of the team's offensive snaps, a number he hasn't reached since Week 6. Brown profiles as a desperation deep-league flex option in Week 9 against Buffalo.

Oct 29 1:20pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown (illness) was absent from practice on Wednesday. Brown failed to haul in his lone target on Monday night against the Commanders and has struggled to remain fantasy relevant with the return of Rashee Rice. In the two games since Rice returned, Brown has seen a total of five targets, resulting in two catches for 14 yards and a touchdown. If Brown continues to miss time this week, fantasy owners should be comfortable benching the big-play receiver ahead of a Week 9 matchup with the Buffalo Bills.

Oct 25 3:30pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown will take on the Washington Commanders in Week 8. After an explosive 10-catch performance in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Brown has caught more than four passes just once. The veteran receiver only caught two passes for 14 yards in Week 7, but he did manage to find the endzone. Brown has recently been a scoring threat for the Chiefs, finding paydirt in three of the last four games. Those touchdowns are the only things keeping Brown's fantasy value afloat since he'll be behind Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Travis Kelce in the pecking order moving forward. He'll look to find the endzone this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Brown is ranked WR47 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making a desperation flex play even with six teams on bye this week.

Oct 17 9:40pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown will face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. Brown was listed on the injury report with an Achilles injury, but practiced fully all week and does not have an injury designation heading into the weekend. The 28-year-old didn't light the world on fire in Week 6, catching four passes for 45 yards, but he did manage to find the endzone twice in the matchup. It will be tougher sledding for Brown this week against the Raiders, but not due to the matchup. The Raiders have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season, but Brown will have increased target competition with the return of Rashee Rice. Rice should immediately return to being the top target earner for Kansas City, leaving less volume for Brown. Brown is ranked WR46 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a desperation flex option in Week 7.

Oct 13 12:00am CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown caught all four of his targets for 45 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's Week 6 win over the Detroit Lions. Brown has quietly emerged as a solid WR3/flex play this season, scoring at least 8.0 fantasy points (PPR) in all six of his games so far. Sunday's victory was his fifth game this season (of six total contests) in which Brown had at least four catches, as well as his fourth with at least 42 receiving yards. It's hard to predict which Kansas City receiver will get the bulk of the volume during any given week, but Brown has certainly been a steady fantasy contributor so far. He's a mid-range WR3/flex option for Week 7 against the Raiders.

Oct 10 10:50pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown will take on the Detroit Lions in Week 6. Brown has been a serviceable fantasy receiver this season, catching at least four passes or a touchdown in every game. In Week 5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Brown caught four of his eight targets for 48 yards. The 28-year-old has been a consistent possession receiver for Kansas City, but has lacked the explosive gains that the Chiefs turn to Xavier Worthy and Tyquan Thornton for. Despite not having any blowup games since Week 1, Brown could see a bump in production on Sunday night against Detroit. The Lions are the highest-scoring team in the league, and Kansas City will likely have to pass early and often to stay competitive. Worthy will be the focal point of the offense, but Brown could be a useful chain-mover in Week 6. Brown is ranked WR48 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a deeper league flex option this week.

Oct 4 10:40pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown was on the injury report with an ankle injury, but practiced fully all week and does not have an injury designation for Monday night. Brown will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5. The 28-year-old had a solid game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, catching three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown. Brown took an expected step back with the return of Xavier Worthy, and this decreased usage should continue against the Jaguars. The Jacksonville defense is middle-of-the-pack in fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers, and Kansas City is second in pass rate over expectation, so the passing volume should be there for Brown to be productive. Brown is ranked WR42 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a deeper league flex option this week.

Sep 26 9:50pm CT

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown was listed on the injury report with an ankle injury, but practiced fully all week and does not have an injury designation for Sunday's matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. Brown was still the suspected WR1 heading into last week's game against the New York Giants after leading the team in targets through the first two weeks, but it didn't result in great fantasy production. The Chiefs speedster finished the game with a respectable four catches for 42 yards on six targets. Brown's target share should diminish this week with the return of Xavier Worthy. The positive news is that the Chiefs are facing the Ravens, who have been the highest scoring offense through the first three weeks. Baltimore has been middle-of-the-pack in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers this season, but the Chiefs are second in the league in pass rate over expectation, so the points they score should come through the air. Patrick Mahomes tends to spread the ball around, with four receivers with at least four catches last week, but there should be plenty of opportunities for Brown to make his mark. Brown is ranked WR41 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a WR3/Flex option this week.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown was on the injury report with an ankle injury but practiced fully all week and has been removed from the report ahead of Sunday's contest. Brown was expected to serve as the Chiefs WR1 with Xavier Worthy out against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. The speedster caught all five of his targets for 30 yards in Kansas City's loss last week. Brown's output was disappointing considering he earned 16 targets in Week 1 once Worthy exited the game. With Worthy officially questionable to play against the New York Giants on Sunday night, Brown could revert to his WR2 role in the offense. Despite having a less featured role, Brown could still have a good game against a Giants defense that was carved up by the Dallas Cowboys last week. Both See Ree Lamb and Jake Ferguson had nine catches and at least 78 yards against the Giants secondary in Week 2. This Week 3 matchup could be what the Chiefs need to finally wake up their offense and Brown should be heavily involved. Brown is ranked WR42 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a deeper league flex option this week.

Sep 16 8:50pm CT

Heading into Week 2, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown was a popular waiver-wire target following his 16-target, 10-catch performance in Week 1. Even with top Chiefs wideouts Xavier Worthy (shoulder) and Rashee Rice (suspension) sidelined in Week 2, Brown was not nearly as prolific against the Philadelphia Eagles, finishing with five receptions for 30 yards. Early indications are that Worthy could return for Kansas City's Week 3 matchup against the New York Giants, which could limit Brown's target volume even further. Still, the 28-year-old looks like the Chiefs' clear WR2 until Rice is eligible to return in Week 7. Brown profiles as a WR4/low-end flex option in Week 3, although his outlook would improve if Worthy misses another game.
