The Seattle Seahawks have placed wide receiver Tory Horton (shin) on injured reserve before Sunday's Week 12 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Horton will now be sidelined for a minimum of four games with a shin injury. The 22-year-old rookie has been held out of the previous two games due to this shin injury before landing on injured reserve. The former Colorado State standout has shown flashes in the first half of his rookie season. We last saw Horton reeling in four catches for 48 yards with two touchdowns in Week 9 against the Washington Commanders. The earliest Horton could return this season is Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams. Fantasy managers with an IR spot can hang onto him in deep leagues.

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (shin) missed the entire week of practice and has been ruled out for the Week 12 game this Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Horton will miss his third straight game. The Seahawks have suggested that the 22-year-old wideout could be a candidate for Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least four games. If Horton lands on IR, there's a chance he won't be back with the Seahawks before the end of the regular season. He was injured at a bad time after catching all four of his targets for 48 yards and two touchdowns in the win over the Washington Commanders on Nov. 2. Horton hasn't played since. Although he has scored five times in his first eight NFL games, Horton will most likely be the WR4 in Seattle whenever he returns behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp.

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (groin, shin) has yet to practice this week, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Horton last played in a Week 9 win over the Washington Commanders, when he had four catches on four targets for a season-high 48 yards and two touchdowns. Since the 22-year-old was injured, veteran Cooper Kupp returned from an injury of his own, and the team acquired receiver Rashid Shaheed from the New Orleans Saints. The fifth-round pick will need to practice in some capacity on Friday to have a shot at playing on Sunday on the road against the Tennessee Titans. Horton has caught five touchdown passes on 13 receptions in his first year in the NFL, but it's going to be more difficult for him to stand out on offense in Seattle whenever he returns from his injuries.

Nov 19 6:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said that rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (shin) would not practice on Wednesday, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN. As of right now, Horton is trending toward missing a third straight game with multiple injuries. Even if the 22-year-old fifth-round selection out of Colorado State returns to practice on Thursday and Friday and is cleared to play on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, it's going to be much harder for him to stand out on offense now that Cooper Kupp is healthy again and after the team acquired deep threat Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. It's quite possible that Horton's high-water mark will end up being his four-catch, 48-yard, two-touchdown performance on Nov. 2 against the Washington Commanders, which just so happens to be the last time he played.

Nov 14 6:20pm CT

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Rashid Shaheed could see his involvement increase in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams. Seattle will be without wide receiver Tory Horton (groin/shin) in this game. Horton is Seattle's other deep-play threat who could threaten Shaheed's touches. Shaheed was only on the field for 34% of the Seahawks' offensive snaps in Week 11. Part of that was likely due to the game script removing the need for additional offensive output as Seattle was dominating the Cardinals. Still, Seattle was intentional with trying to get Shaheed the ball. He garnered three targets, including a couple of plays clearly schemed for him. The Rams are near the top of the league in defending all facets of the game. However, all Shaheed needs is one big play to make his fantasy day. Ironically, Shaheed just faced the Rams in Week 9 as a member of the New Orleans Saints. He reeled in five catches for 68 targets for a solid fantasy day. As such, Shaheed could be a solid dart throw if you are in dire straits at the wide receiver position.

Nov 14 5:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (groin, shin) has been ruled out for a big Week 11 divisional contest this Sunday against the hosting Los Angeles Rams and will miss a second straight game, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. Just when Horton seemed to be coming on strong for the Seahawks offense in his first year -- he had four catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns in his last game on Nov. 2 against the Washington Commanders -- he gets hurt. When the 22-year-old does return to action, he'll be contending with newcomer Rashid Shaheed for targets. Veteran Cooper Kupp is also back from his injury. Horton has caught only 13 passes for 161 yards on 22 targets in his eight games played, but he's managed to find the end zone five times. Head coach Mike Macdonald said Seattle could put Horton on Injured Reserve, which would require him to miss at least four games.

Nov 13 8:40pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton (groin, shin) did not practice on Thursday. The rookie had logged a limited session on Wednesday, and it seemed like he was trending in the right direction, but his downgraded status on Thursday is not a good sign. He'll likely need to get back on the field in some capacity on Friday in order to have any chance of playing in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Rams. The rookie impressed in his last game with four catches, 48 yards, and two touchdowns, but he has since fallen down a rung on the depth chart after Seattle acquired Rashid Shaheed. Although Horton is a high-upside dynasty stash, he's not a reliable redraft option at the moment.

From RotoBaller

Nov 12 8:40pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton (groin, shin) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Horton appears to be trending in a positive direction after sitting out last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals. The rookie wideout had a breakout performance in Week 9 when he scored two touchdowns. Sadly, Horton hasn't been able to play since then, but has a chance to get back on the field this weekend. It's unclear what kind of role he'll have in his offense once it's fully healthy. He could fall too far down on the depth chart to offer streaming appeal, but fantasy managers will have to wait and see. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout the week.

Nov 9 1:40pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton (groin, shin) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 10 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. He had been listed as doubtful after missing the Seahawks' Thursday and Friday practices. He had four catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns last week, so Seattle will miss his presence. With that said, they've found reinforcements in the form of Rashid Shaheed, who was acquired from the Saints last week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 7 4:30pm CT

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton (groin, shin) missed practice on Thursday and Friday and is considered doubtful to suit up this Sunday against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals in Week 10, according to Brady Henderson of ESPN. Horton was a full practice participant on Wednesday before being downgraded for the final two days of practice this week. The good news for Seattle is that veteran wideout Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel) is trending toward playing after missing the Week 9 win over the Washington Commanders. The Seahawks also acquired Rashid Shaheed from the New Orleans Saints at Tuesday's trade deadline, and he could immediately become Seattle's WR2 behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Horton has five touchdowns in his first eight NFL games, including two last week, but his fantasy stock is down with Kupp returning and Shaheed joining the fold for the rest of the year.

Nov 5 10:00am CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton has been a touchdown machine in his rookie season, scoring five touchdowns on just 13 receptions. He posted a career day in Week 9 with four catches for 48 yards and two scores while logging a season-high 73% snap share. However, Seattle's trade for Rashid Shaheed may limit Horton's fantasy trajectory. Shaheed recorded 44 receptions in nine games with the Saints this season and is expected to slide in as the No. 2 option alongside Jaxon Smith-Njigba. With Shaheed likely to command consistent snaps and targets, Horton becomes a far more volatile play. He should be viewed as a stash-only option in deeper leagues, not a weekly fantasy starter.

Nov 3 9:40am CT

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton had the best game of his young career in his team's Week 9 win over the Washington Commanders, hauling in four catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns on four targets. The 22-year-old has just 13 catches for 161 yards across eight games this season, but he's already scored five touchdowns. In Week 9, Horton took advantage of the playing time opportunity opened up by injuries to Seattle wideouts Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring), Jake Bobo (Achilles), and Dareke Young (quad). Kupp's return will make it more difficult for Horton to earn targets, and Seattle already has a major target hog in star wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Still, Horton has flashed big-play upside and deserves a look from fantasy managers on the waiver wire, particularly if Kupp's injuries keep him out for an extended stretch. Seattle will host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10.

Nov 2 11:30pm CT

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton hauled in all four of his targets for 48 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday night's blowout win against the Washington Commanders. Horton scored the first two touchdowns of the night for Seattle, giving him five now on the season and tying Tampa Bay Buccaneers' rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka for the most among first-year receivers. The rookie out of Colorado State took advantage of his opportunities with multiple other Seattle wide receivers sidelined for this matchup against Washington's poor defense. Horton looks like a legitimate flex option moving forward if Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) were to miss any more time.

From RotoBaller

Nov 1 2:00pm CT

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton was held without a catch on four targets across the team's final two games before its Week 8 bye. The 22-year-old has struggled to be consistently productive this season, recording nine catches for 113 yards and three touchdowns on 18 targets in seven games played. However, injuries could allow Horton to play a larger role in Seattle's offense in Week 9 against the Washington Commanders. Seahawks wideouts Jake Bobo (Achilles) and Dareke Young (quad) have been ruled out, while veteran wide receiver Cooper Kupp (heel, hamstring) is listed as questionable after injuring his hamstring in practice on Friday. If Kupp is ruled out, Horton looks like the clear WR2 in Seattle alongside star Seahawks wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba in Week 9. The Commanders enter Week 9 allowing the most yards per reception in the NFL (12.8), so Horton will have a favorable matchup as well. Horton profiles as a high-upside flex option for deep-league fantasy managers in Week 9 against Washington if Kupp is unable to play.

From RotoBaller

Oct 31 4:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton might be worth a look on your league's waiver wire heading into the team's Week 9 Sunday night matchup against the Washington Commanders, with veteran Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel) dealing with two injuries and listed as questionable to play this weekend. Horton has recorded only nine receptions on 18 targets for 113 yards in his first seven NFL games, but he also has scored three times, and he'd be in line for WR2 duties behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba on Sunday if Kupp is unable to play or is limited at all. The 22-year-old didn't catch any of his three targets in the Monday night win over the Houston Texans back in Week 7, but the Seahawks could be looking to get him more involved in the passing game coming out of their Week 8 bye. Horton is currently rostered in only 3% of Yahoo leagues, so he's widely available.

Oct 17 8:10pm CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton has been an exciting rookie to watch in 2025. He has scored four touchdowns in six games, and he is a big play waiting to happen. Unfortunately, his role in the offense is inconsistent. The Seahawks matchup with the Houston Texans in Week 7. Houston is the No. 2 team against opposing wide receivers in fantasy. Simply, this defense is elite and is very adept at shutting down opposing passing games. Additionally, Houston is not playing well on the offensive side of the ball this season. They are unlikely to put pressure on Seattle to air it out on Monday night. As such, Horton's number may not be called often. Horton has yet to play more than 49% of the snaps this season. He is firmly the No. 3 wide receiver in Seattle's offense. Seattle will play against several solid offenses following their Week 8 bye. Horton may be able to produce then, but he should remain a bench stash in Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 9:00am CT

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton should remain on your bench in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, Horton continues to produce at a high level, and he will be difficult for the Seahawks to keep off the field. Horton has a nose for the end zone. He has scored four touchdowns in his first five games in the league. Unfortunately, his volume has been low. Horton has yet to exceed 39 receiving yards or four targets in a game. Despite the low volume, Horton's efficiency has been absurd. Three of his eight receptions this season have gone for touchdowns, and he has returned a punt for a touchdown. While the Jaguars boast a solid defense, they are relatively banged up in the secondary. Their recent addition of Greg Newsome II will help, but Jacksonville needs to worry about wide receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp first. Horton has a great chance to get lost in the shuffle and find the end zone once again in a game that projects to be relatively competitive. He is still not worthy of a start, but Horton could be a great second-half player in 2025.
