Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier found paydirt again in Week 8's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins, scoring the team's only touchdown of the day. The six-yard score came late in thefourth quarter and marked Allgeier'sfourthtouchdown of the season, which is tied for the team lead with Bijan Robinson, who has two rushing scores and two scores through the air. While the touchdown volume can't be ignored, the pace feels tenuous at best, as the 25-year-old garnered onlysix touches in the game and had three rushes fornegativetwo yards prior to the TD plunge. For the season, the BYU product has registered just 3.4 yards per carry, compared to Robinson's 5.2 YPC. Had the score been closer and not 34-3 at the time of the touchdown run, Allgeier may not have even been in the game. Nevertheless, he's become a potential Flex option due to his nose for the end zone, but fantasymanagers need to be aware that there is a high chance of busting if he doesn't score. Things won't get easier in Week 9 on the road in New England against a defense allowing the fourth-fewest points per game (18.3), second-fewest rush yards per game (76.0), and second-fewest rush yards per attempt (3.5).

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier (hip) is officially active for Sunday's contest against the Miami Dolphins. The team's No. 2 running back practiced in a limited capacity all week but was able to progress enough to suit up. In Week 7, Allgeier had had a limited role, taking just four carries for a mere 16 yards. However, in Week 6, Allgeier took 10 carries for 32 yards and punched in his third rushing score of the campaign. Through six games, Allgeier has tallied 203 yards despite operating as the clear No. 2 option behind Bijan Robinson. Given that the Falcons will face a weak Miami defense that has allowed the fourth-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season, Allgeier carries sneaky FLEX upside in this matchup.

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier (hip, knee) is listed as questionable to play in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins after being limited in practice during the week. It appears to be a new injury for Allgeier, as he was not listed on the injury report last week. The 25-year-old has been an impactful player for the Atlanta offense in a backup role behind superstar Bijan Robinson, handling 57 carries for 203 yards and three touchdowns on the season. The Falcons' offense could look a tad different on Sunday against the Dolphins with veteran Kirk Cousins expected to start in place of Michael Penix Jr. (knee), who has been managing a bone bruise this week. Allgeier has gotten a good amount of his production when the Falcons look to salt the game away late, setting him up for a potential big day against a porous Miami run defense. Allgeir is right on the RB2/flex line for Week 8, ranked as the RB27 in PPR formats by RotoBaller.

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier (hip, knee) is officially questionable to play in Week 8 against the Miami Dolphins, per Josh Kendall of The Athletic. Even while stuck behind star running back Bijan Robinson in Atlanta, Allgeier has been a productive player so far this season. Across six games, the 25-year-old has rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns on 57 carries. If Allgeier cannot play in Week 8, Robinson could be in line for an absolutely monstrous game in a very favorable matchup against the Dolphins. Miami has allowed the most rushing yards (1,115) and third-most rushing touchdowns (nine) in the NFL. Should Allgeier be able to go, he profiles as a high-end flex option for fantasy managers in Week 8.

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier (knee, hip) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. He's a new addition to the injury report as Allgeier is dealing with a few minor issues. Allgeier hasn't done much on the field lately as he rushed for 16 yards on four carries during last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He has seen double digit carries in four games this season, but it hasn't resulted in a ton of fantasy value. Whether he's healthy or not, Allgeier isn't going to have much value while Bijan Robinson is healthy and running like he has been in the backfield.

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier scored for the third time in his last four games in Week 6, and while he also logged double-digit carries for the fourth time this season, the 25-year-old tallied just 3.2 yards per carry, which was buoyed by a 21-yard run that amounted to the bulk of his 32 total yards. Although he likely can't keep up this touchdown pace, the fourth-year pro has carved out a solid role as the No. 2 back in Atlanta, and as long as the game remains competitive, Allgeier figures to get enough work to keep him in the Flex conversation. A competitive game appears to be in the cards in Week 7 against the 49ers, so the BYU product sets up as a high-end RB4/Flex play, but fantasy managers should be aware that if he doesn't find the end zone, there will be little fantasy production to be had as the 5-foot-10 running back is not a factor in the passing game.

Atlanta Falcons running backTyler Allgeier broke off a 21-yard touchdown run early in thefirst quarter of Monday's 24-14 win over the Bills, his third touchdown of the season. Outside of that electric play, the 25-year-old managed only 11 yards on nine carries (1.2 yards per rush), and he added one catch for six yards. The fourth-year pro has scored in three of the Falcons' five games, and even has more rushing scores on the groundthan Bijan Robinson does. Even so, it would be surprising to see him keep up this pace over the remainder of the season, having a previous career high of four rushing scores, and with him typically playing around 30 percent of the team's offensive snaps compared to Robinson's 70 percent or more. Still, for now, the BYU product has some Flex appeal in this offense, just know that he put up less than two points in half-point PPR formats in the two weeks he didn't find the end zone, so there is a very low floor here, too. The Falcons will take on San Francisco in Week 7, a defense that has allowed the 21st-most fantasy points to opposing RBs.

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier garnered 16 rush attempts and rumbled his way to 51 yards and his second touchdown of the season in Week 4. It was his third dose of double-digit carries through the team's first four games, but the fourth-year pro is averaging just 3.6 yards per rush compared to Bijan Robinson's 4.9 YPR. It will be difficult to predict the games where the 25-year-old finds paydirt, so he makes for a dicey Flex play most weeks with such a low YPR, especially if the Falcons have to abandon the run. In Week 3 against the Panthers, the Falcons fell behind early and had to play catch-up, leaving Allgeier with a total of two touches (one rush, one reception). The Bills could present a similar problem for the Falcons on Monday, making the BYU product a risky RB4/Flex option in Week 6.

Atlanta Falcons runningback Tyler Allgeier disappeared from the offense last week, with the Falcons playing from behind the entire game, and the running backs finally givingway to Nathan Carter (hamstring) in the fourth quarter of the 30-0 blowout loss to the Panthers. Thisweek's game should be more competitive, with a relatively low over/under (43.5) and the Falcons as only slight favorites (-2.5). That should give Allgeier a chance to get back on track after recording double-digit carries the first two weeks, and even finding the end zone once. Still, averaging just 3.9 yards per carry will limit his upside, and the 25-year-old is not typically involved in the passing attack (two catches for four yards in '25), so view him as nothing more than a middling RB4 or a speculative Flex play, as well as a handcuff for Bijan Robinson managers.

Sep 20 10:30am CT

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier rushed 16 times for 76 yards and a touchdown in Week 2's 22-6 victory over the Vikings, the secondstraight week he's reached double-digit carries, and he even caught one pass for four yards. The 25-year-old tallied double-digit carries five times all last season, so it bodes well for his usage that he was able to reach the double-digit plateau in both a pass-heavy game and a run-heavy game this early in the season. With the Falcons as five-point favorites in Week 3, it sets up as a spot for the team to lean more run than pass, and if Atlanta intends to keep Bijan Robinson fresh, Allgeier shouldcontinue to see involvement. The BYU product's best game in 2024 came in Week 6 against Carolina, rushing 18 times for 105 yards and a touchdown, and he added nine rushes for 52 in the Week 18 rematch. The Panther defense hasn't improved, so Allgeier should be viewed as a low-end RB3 or Flex option on Sunday.
