Kansas City's WR Rashee Rice scored 25.50 fantasy points in Monday's Week 8 win against the Commanders. Rice caught nine passes for 93 yards with one touchdown. It's the 1st time this season Rice scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice caught all nine of his targets for 93 yards and a touchdown while adding two rushes for 12 yards in Monday night's 28-7 win over the Washington Commanders. Rice has picked up right where he left off last season as a target hog and dominant after-the-catch threat. The 25-year-old had seven receptions while playing roughly 40% of the offensive snaps in his first game back in Week 7 against the Raiders, but was back to a full-time role in this one, playing 85% of the snaps. Rice nearly had another touchdown on one of his two rushing attempts, coming just inches shy of his second career two-touchdown day. Rice is the clear-cut favorite target for Patrick Mahomes and is set to crush for fantasy managers for the rest of the season. He'll be an elite WR1 for Week 9's game of the week against the Buffalo Bills.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will take on the Washington Commanders in Week 8. Rice returned from suspension in Week 7 and immediately stepped back into the WR1 role for Kansas City. The 25-year-old caught seven passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns in the dominating 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week. All that production came on nearly 40% of the offensive snaps as the Chiefs eased him back into action, and the game was not competitive down the stretch. Rice came out of last week's matchup feeling good, and the Chiefs should continue ramping him up each week. Rice should have no issues producing this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Rice is ranked WR4 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a high-end WR1 option on Monday night.

In his first game back from a six-game suspension, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice was on the field for 33 of his team's 81 offensive snaps against the Raiders, and OC Matt Nagy says he will continue to be brought along gradually. While a ramp-up is to be expected, the good news for fantasy managers is that 22 of those 33 snaps came on passing plays, and Rice was targeted a staggering nine times on the 19 routes that he ran. It's clear the team intends to run the passing offense through their third-year star, and as he sees more involvement, he should be viewed as a locked-in WR1, rewarding managers who held onto him through his lengthy absence. While Patrick Mahomes might see a dip in the rushing numbers that have made him one of the best fantasy quarterbacks to begin the year, the tradeoff is an electric receiver who can rack up yards and fantasy points with the ball in his hands.

The Kansas City Chiefs said that wide receiver Rashee Rice was going to be heavily involved in the offensive game plan in his season debut in Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday after serving his six-game suspension, and they were not lying. Rice picked up right where he left off last year, securing seven of his 10 targets for 42 yards and his first two touchdowns of 2025 in the team's 31-0 blowout win over the Raiders. The 25-year-old led the team in targets and catches on the day and reminded everyone why he was quarterback Patrick Mahomes' favorite target in the passing game last year before he suffered a season-ending knee injury. Rice's longest catch of the game only went for 12 yards, but fantasy managers have to be very pleased with what they saw from him in his season debut. Now that he's back from suspension, Rice should be locked and loaded into all starting fantasy lineups for a Monday night matchup in Week 8 against the Washington Commanders and their porous secondary.

Dynasty | Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice had seven catches for 42 yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Raiders. Dynasty Analysis: This was Rice's first game back after missing 22 contests with a torn ACL and serving a suspension. It was clearly a monster return for Rice, who looks the part of a WR1 moving forward yet again. While Patrick Mahomes seems content spreading the ball around, it's hard to look at Rice and think he's not the #1 option in the passing game moving forward. Savvy dynasty managers bought on Rice a long time ago and those who didn't are likely kicking themselves.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will take the field for the first time this season against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. The Chiefs receiver was injured to end last season and served his six-game suspension to begin this season, so Rice has not been active since Week 4 of 2024. That said, everyone in the Chiefs organization seems confident in his ability to be an impact player upon his arrival. Rice was averaging 21.6 PPR points per game to begin last season and had an explosive 12-catch, 110-yard performance the week before his injury. The 25-year-old is more than a year removed from the injury and should slot right back in as the team's top target. Rice will face the Raiders, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Rice is ranked WR8 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a strong WR1 in his first game this season.

Set to play his first game of the season after serving a six-game suspension, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is expected to play a big role in the offense right away with the Chiefs taking on Las Vegas in Week 7. An injury and a suspension have kept Rice off the field for significant portions of his 2.5 seasons in the NFL, but when he's been available, he's been a difference maker. Drawing a career average of 6.5 targets per game, the former SMU standout put up seven touchdowns and 653 yards after catch in his lone full season in 2023. With an enticing matchup against the Raiders, Rice is going to be a starting lineup fixture in all formats this week.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice's six-game suspension is over, and he will make his 2025 debut in the Week 7 divisional clash against the Las Vegas Raiders this Sunday. "He's going to play (Sunday against the Raiders). How many snaps he'll get, (I don't know). He's been working hard. He's in good shape," head coach Andy Reid said. Rice is practicing with the rest of the team for the first time this year on Wednesday. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Chiefs "will be allocating a heavy workload for him as soon as possible," so fantasy managers will want to get Rice back into their starting lineups immediately in a good matchup. In addition to his six-game suspension, the 25-year-old is back from an LCL tear in his knee that he suffered in the offseason. When fully healthy, Rice is expected to be quarterback Patrick Mahomes' favorite target.

The Kansas City Chiefs are getting wide receiver Rashee Rice back from suspension in Week 7, and the team "will be allocating a heavy workload for him as soon as possible," according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Rice joins a talented group of pass catchers in Kansas City that also includes wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown, as well as tight end Travis Kelce. Still, Rice should be expected to take over as the number one option in the passing game for quarterback Patrick Mahomes sooner rather than later. In four games before suffering a season-ending knee injury in 2024, Rice recorded 24 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns on 29 targets. He profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver heading into a Week 7 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
