Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield completed 15 of his 24 passes for 152 yards in a 23-3 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.
Fantasy Spin: With the Saints struggling to do anything on offense, Mayfield and company didn't have to do much to pick up the win. Mayfield finished with zero touchdowns for the first time this season, and his 152 yards were a season low. Mayfield should put up a more typical stat line when Tampa Bay returns to action in Week 10.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee, oblique) is ready to go for the Week 8 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Mayfield is a little banged up right now, but that's not going to stop him from suiting up. The 28-year-old wasn't able to offer much to fantasy managers last week. Mayfield threw for 228 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception in the loss to the Detroit Lions. As always, Mayfield will be playing shorthanded with Chris Godwin (leg), Mike Evans (collarbone), and Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) all sidelined. However, the Bucs will still have Emeka Egbuka, so Mayfield should be able to offer QB1 value against the below average Saints defense.
From RotoBaller

G Luke Haggard (shoulder) was limited in practice on Friday, Oct. 24, and is out. DL Vita Vea (foot) did not practice and is listed as questionable. Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 23.
Fantasy Spin: Mayfield seems to be dealing with a minor injury and should not have any limitations against the New Orleans Saints. He will be without several of his receivers this week but can still be considered a No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Teddy Bridgewater (teeth), WR Chris Godwin (fibula), RB Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder), LB Haason Reddick (ankle, knee) and DT Vita Vea (foot) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 23. LB Lavonte David (knee, rib), WR Emeka Egbuka (hamstring), DT Greg Gaines (toe), OG Luke Haggard (shoulder), S Christian Izien (knee) and S Antoine Winfield Jr. (toe) were limited during practice. From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee) upgraded to a full practice on Thursday after he was limited by a knee injury on Wednesday. Mayfield came out of the Monday night loss to the Detroit Lions a little banged up, but he should be just fine to play this weekend in a divisional clash on the road in New Orleans against the Saints. It's a plus matchup and a good spot for Mayfield to bounce back after one of his worst games of the season in Week 8, when he went 28-for-50 for 228 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. With that said, fantasy managers must also consider the health of Tampa's offensive weapons at Mayfield's disposal. Veteran receiver Mike Evans broke his collarbone on Monday night, and the Bucs will be without receiver Chris Godwin (leg) and running back Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) for another week. Still, as long as impressive rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) plays, Mayfield should be in play as a midrange QB1 against the 1-6 Saints.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 22. The Buccaneers only held a walkthrough Wednesday, so this is an estimation.
Fantasy Spin: Mayfield has thrown at least two touchdowns in five of his seven games this season but likely will be without Mike Evans and Chris Godwin for at least another game. He should have a favorable matchup against the New Orleans Saints and can still be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (knee) is dealing with a knee injury and was listed as a limited participant in the first practice of the week on Wednesday, according to Brianna Dix of Buccaneers.com. Mayfield is coming off one of his worst performances of the season in the Monday night loss to the Detroit Lions, in which he threw for 228 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while not carrying the ball at all. In addition to his health, Mayfield's lack of healthy weapons in the passing game is now becoming a concern, as the team lost Mike Evans to a broken collarbone on Monday, and Chris Godwin (leg) will miss a third straight game this weekend. Mayfield should play through his knee injury this week. He should be considered a low-end QB1 in fantasy against the Saints.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 28 of 50 attempts for 228 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also took four sacks for a loss of 18 yards and loss a fumble that Tampa Bay ultimately recovered. It was the ugliest game of the season for the 30-year-old quarterback, as he posted his lowest passing total since Week 1 in Atlanta, when he threw for just 167 yards. Mayfield entered the game with a banged-up group of weapons, and things only got worse when Mike Evans (collarbone) went down with a significant injury. It was a disappointing result in what was expected to be a shootout, but Mayfield should bounce back in Week 8 at New Orleans.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield completed 28-of-50 passes for 228 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions, and he was sacked four times.
Fantasy Spin: It looks like a potential favorable matchup for the Bucs, as the Lions secondary had several starters sidelined, but the replacements stepped up and did a great job. Mayfield and the Bucs will look to rebound in Week 8 in New Orleans. He remains a solid fantasy starter in all leagues despite the mediocre numbers Monday.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has been playing at an elite level early in the season. Heading into Week 7, Mayfield has thrown for 1,539 passing yards with 12 touchdowns and one interception. He's missing multiple key contributors on offense, but continues finding ways to get it done on the field. At the moment, it's unclear if the Bucs will have Mike Evans (hamstring) or Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) for Monday's game against the Detroit Lions. Despite that, Mayfield finds a way to succeed despite a shorthanded roster. Fantasy managers should continue to plug in Mayfield as a locked-in QB1 for Week 7.
From RotoBaller
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to wait until the offseason to begin contract extension talks with QB Baker Mayfield, so that negotiations do not serve as a distraction. He has one year remaining on his current deal following the 2025 season.
Fantasy Spin: In six games this season, the 30-year-old Mayfield has thrown for 1,539 passing yards and 12 touchdowns, while being intercepted just once. He can be viewed as a QB1 option in all fantasy leagues due to his consistency and lack of turnovers.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield completed 17-of-23 passes for 256 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers, while running three times for 14 yards.
Fantasy Spin: Mayfield hasn't had eye-popping stats, going for 289 or fewer passing yards in five of his six games. But, he does have two or more passing touchdowns in five of his six games, and he has just one interception, while helping his team to a 5-1 record. That's why he is among the early favorites for MVP. For fantasy purposes, he remains a low-end QB1 in most leagues because of his consistent stats and absence of miscues. The Bucs travel to Detroit next Monday night.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield led his team to its fifth win of the season in Week 6, beating the San Francisco 49ers 30-19. Mayfield completed 17 of his 23 pass attempts for 256 yards and two touchdowns without throwing an interception and added 14 rushing yards on three carries. The 30-year-old has now thrown for 1,309 yards and 12 touchdowns in his first six games of 2025. Tampa Bay entered Week 6 without wide receivers Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (leg), and Jalen McMillan (neck), and then lost star rookie wideout Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) to a hamstring injury during the game. It's currently unclear how long the Buccaneers will be without their top four wide receivers. Regardless, Mayfield has proven himself to be a worthy fantasy QB1 on a week-to-week basis.
