Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has been fantastic in his second season in the NFL. In nine games, Odunze has hauled in 37 of 69 targets, for 559 yards and six touchdowns, ranking as the WR15 on a per-game basis. Despite going through a rough patch since the bye week, Odunze has strung together good outings, including last week, where he had 86 yards and a touchdown in less-than-ideal conditions. The weather will be a non-factor this week, as the Bears play in a dome for the first time since Week 2 (where Odunze had his best game of the season). The Vikings' defense has looked better as of late, but so has the Bears' offense, who currently rank seventh in the NFL in scoring offense. Odunze is a high-end WR2 in Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Sunday's Week 11 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Odunze missed Wednesday's practice due to a minor ankle issue. However, he was able to practice each of the next two days and has been cleared to play this weekend. Odunze bounced back last week with six receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown in the win over the New York Giants. He should offer high-end WR2 value for this upcoming matchup against the Vikings.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle) upgraded to a limited practice on Thursday, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN. Odunze has been dealing with an ankle injury since late October and hasn't been taking part in practices on Wednesdays. Now that the 23-year-old second-year wideout is back at practice on Thursday, he will most likely upgrade to full on Friday and be cleared to play in a Week 11 contest on the road against the division-rival Minnesota Vikings. In the season-opening loss to Minnesota back on Sept. 8, Odunze caught six of his nine targets for 37 yards and his first touchdown of the year. He went on a four-game touchdown drought before returning to the end zone in last Sunday's win over the Giants, catching six of his 10 targets for 86 yards. Outside of a donut against the Bengals in Week 9, Odunze has been the Bears' most consistent WR, and he leads the team in catches (37), targets (69), receiving yards (559), and touchdowns (six).
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle) was absent from Wednesday's practice session. Odunze has routinely opened the week with missed practices as the Bears manage his workload and practice reps. The second-year wideout bounced back in Week 10 against the Giants with one of his best games of the season despite weather conditions, catching six of 10 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown. It was positive to see Odunze get back to his productive ways after posting the first catchless game of his career in Week 9 against the Bengals. Odunze's status will be monitored as the week goes along, but he should be good to go for Week 11 against the Vikings.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze surprisingly put up a donut for his fantasy managers in the Week 9 comeback win over the Cincinnati Bengals in a game in which the Bears put up 40-plus points. The 23-year-old second-year pass-catcher rewarded fantasy managers who stuck with him in another comeback win for Chicago on Sunday over the New York Giants, as Odunze caught six of his 10 targets for a team-high 86 yards and a touchdown. Odunze also led the Bears in receptions and targets, and his sixth touchdown of the year was a two-yard hookup with quarterback Caleb Williams in the fourth quarter. The strong day was great to see for Odunze, who went quiet after scoring five times in the first four games of 2025. Consistency has not been Odunze's strong suit in his sophomore season, but he still leads Chicago in catches (37), receiving yards (559), and receiving touchdowns (six) through 10 weeks. The former first-rounder should be in all fantasy lineups in a potential Week 11 shootout against Minnesota.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is looking to rebound after being held without a catch in Week 9, seeing just three targets and recording two drops in the 47-42 win over Cincinnati. The second-year wideout has now struggled in three of his last four games. He draws a favorable matchup against a Giants defense that allows the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. However, forecasted 25+ mph winds in Chicago could limit the Bears' downfield passing, which is critical to Odunze's production. He carries clear Boom-or-Bust value in Week 10, dependent on how much Chicago chooses to push the ball vertically.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears second-year wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle, heel) upgraded to a full practice on Friday and has been cleared to play this Sunday against the visiting New York Giants in Week 10, according to the team. Odunze played through a heel in last week's win over the Cincinnati Bengals and added an ankle injury on Sunday. The 23-year-old did not practice on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday before upgrading to full practice on Friday. It's good news that he won't be missing this weekend's tilt, but fantasy managers have to be a little concerned that Odunze didn't have a single catch last week despite the team putting up 47 points against a porous Bengals defense. Despite the donut in Week 9, fantasy managers should have Odunze in their starting lineups this weekend, as he's tied for the team lead in targets (31) and leads the Bears in receptions (59), receiving yards (473), and touchdowns (five) in eight games this year.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle/heel) practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday after being held out on Wednesday, per The Athletic's Kevin Fishbain. Odunze followed a similar practice pattern last week and was able to play in Week 9, so he appears to be trending toward playing in Week 10 against the New York Giants. The 23-year-old is coming off his worst game of the season against the Cincinnati Bengals, as he was held without a reception on three targets. Odunze has been much better for the season overall, recording 31 catches for 473 yards and five touchdowns on 59 targets across eight games. Assuming he's cleared to play, Odunze profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 10 against the Giants.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (ankle, heel) was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice. Odunze was a DNP in practice to open last week as well, before eventually clearing the report by Friday ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Bengals. Odunze was joined by fellow wideout D.J. Moore (hip, groin), who also sat out Wednesday's practice. The 23-year-old had the first catchless game of his career in Week 9, recording zero catches on just three targets in a dream matchup against a poor Cincinnati defense. Chicago racked up a whopping 576 yards and scored 47 points, but Odunze was not a part of their monster scoring outburst. He'll look to bounce back in Week 10 against the Giants if he's able to clear the injury report.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has enjoyed a breakout sophomore season under first-year head coach Ben Johnson, recording 31 receptions for 473 yards and five touchdowns on 56 targets in seven games. The 23-year-old leads the team with a 25.5% target share and has built a solid rapport with fellow second-year quarterback Caleb Williams. Odunze is coming off his best game since Week 3 against the Cowboys, catching seven of 10 targets for 114 yards in Week 8 at Baltimore, the fourth 100-yard game of his career. The 2024 first-rounder is again set up to reward fantasy managers with a beautiful matchup on deck against Cincinnati. Odunze ranks as RotoBaller's WR9 in PPR formats for Week 9.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (heel) was a full participant in practice on Friday and has been cleared from the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The 23-year-old missed practice to open the week on Wednesday, but was upgraded to limited on Thursday and never seemed to be in any danger of missing Chicago's Week 9 contest. Odunze has been the clear focal point of the Bears' passing game this season and is coming off his best game since Week 2, catching seven of his 10 targets for 114 yards in Chicago's Week 8 loss at Baltimore. Odunze ranks as a solid WR1 in a great Week 9 matchup against a poor Bengals defense.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receivers Rome Odunze (heel) and DJ Moore (groin, hip) were both listed as limited participants in practice on Thursday after they both missed Wednesday's session. Chicago's offense is pretty banged up coming off their Week 8 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, with rookie receiver Luther Burden III (concussion) yet to practice this week and looking unlikely to suit up on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. Odunze and Moore should be able to suit up this weekend, but fantasy managers will want to monitor their statuses through Friday. Both pass-catchers could be in line for big days this weekend against a porous Bengals pass defense, especially if Burden is unable to play. Odunze has been quarterback Caleb Williams' primary target through the air this year, while Moore hasn't been a great fit in head coach Ben Johnson's offense.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (heel) was unable to practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday due to a heel injury. The Bears' offense is pretty banged up coming out of their Week 8 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, as receivers DJ Moore (groin, hip), Luther Burden III (concussion), and Olamide Zaccheaus (knee) all missed practice as well. It remains to be seen if Odunze's injury is serious enough to keep him from playing in Week 9 in a plus matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, but we should know more about his status over the next two days. After two straight 30-yard performances, the second-year wideout bounced back nicely in last week's loss, catching seven of his 10 targets for 114 yards, his second 100-yard game of the year. Odunze had five touchdowns in the first four games, but he hasn't scored since. He'll have a good chance to end his scoring drought against Cincy, though, if he can play.
From RotoBaller
Bears' WR Rome Odunze had 7 receptions for 114 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's loss in Baltimore.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has cooled off over the past two weeks, but he remains on track for a strong season. Through six games, the second-year wideout has caught 24 of 46 targets for 359 yards and five touchdowns, ranking as the WR12 on a per-game basis. Odunze's recent struggles can be attributed to a mix of poor weather and bad luck. Still, a bounce-back opportunity looms in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens, who have surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. The Ravens also run man coverage at the fourth-highest rate in the league, which is where Odunze has consistently thrived. Expect Odunze to get back on track this week, offering high-end WR2 upside in a favorable matchup.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is coming off a quiet Week 6, recording just two catches for 32 yards. However, his day could have been much bigger, as Odunze had an 11-yard touchdown negated by a penalty and narrowly missed on a few deep connections with Caleb Williams. Despite the down week, the second-year receiver is still in the midst of a breakout season, totaling 328 yards and five touchdowns in five games, ranking as the WR7 on a per-game basis. Odunze draws a favorable matchup in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. With the Saints' defense surrendering big performances to WR1s like Marvin Harrison Jr., Jauan Jennings, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba so far this season, Odunze is in a prime bounce-back spot. He should be viewed as a high-end WR2 this week, with significant big-play upside against a struggling Saints secondary.
