New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson said that he signed with the team this offseason because of second-year wide receiver Malik Nabers. "I came here because of him. I really wanted to play with someone who is special like him," Wilson said. Nabers led the Giants in receiving in 2024 in his first year in the league with 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns on 109 catches (170 targets) despite subpar quarterback play and two missed games due to a concussion. While the aging Wilson might not be much of an upgrade from what the Giants trotted out there last year after Daniel Jones was cut, he does excel on the deep ball and should target Nabers heavily through the air. Nabers proved last year he is a clear WR1 in fantasy, regardless of who is throwing him passes. The LSU product and former first-rounder has the ability to take over any game.

The New York Giants are "just playing it super cautious" with wide receiver Malik Nabers (toe) this offseason, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. Nabers missed organized team activities and mandatory minicamp with a toe injury that has bothered him since college, but the Giants have no concerns and he's expected to be ready for the start of training camp in late July. The 21-year-old former first-rounder didn't miss a single game in his rookie campaign in 2024 due to his toe ailment and finished as the WR7 in half-PPR scoring with 109 receptions on 170 targets for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games played. Those numbers are impressive on their own before considering the shaky QB play Nabers dealt with. Russell Wilson may not be much better in 2025, but Nabers should once again be heavily targeted and should be a safe WR1 target for fantasy managers entering his second year.

New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that there are no concerns with wide receiver Malik Nabers (toe) not being ready for training camp in late July. Nabers missed organized team activities this spring and is also sitting out of mandatory minicamp with a toe injury that has bothered him since college, but the team isn't very concerned, and Nabers should be fine for training camp, the preseason, and the start of his second NFL campaign this fall. The 21-year-old also dealt with his toe ailment in 2024, but it didn't slow him down on the field, as he had 109 catches for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns on 170 targets despite a rough quarterback situation in the Big Apple. Russell Wilson may not prove to be much better under center, but he does excel with the deep ball still. Nabers has extremely high expectations going into Year 2 and should be treated as a top-10 fantasy wideout.

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers' injured toe is "good," according to head coach Brian Daboll, and he's "progressing." Nabers still isn't ready to practice in full yet, but he's participating in walkthrough during mandatory minicamp. The 21-year-old former sixth overall pick last year dealt with a toe injury in college and it also bothered him at times in his rookie campaign in 2024, but it never caused him to miss any games. The LSU product has not practiced at all this offseason, but he's expected to be a full-go for training camp this summer. Nabers impressed in his first year in the league and made the Pro Bowl after catching 109 passes on a whopping 170 targets for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games (13 starts) despite New York's terrible QB situation. Even though things might not be much better with Russell Wilson under center, Nabers is a clear top-10 fantasy wideout.

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (toe) is not practicing on Wednesday, according to Connor Hughes of SNY. The injury reportedly dates back to the receiver's time at LSU, and he just needs a rest day. Hughes' report suggests that the injury is not serious and that Nabers should return to practice soon. This is good news for the Giants and fantasy managers alike. Despite poor quarterback play, Nabers dominated during his rookie season, catching 109 passes for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns through 15 games. He finished as the overall WR6 in PPR leagues, and he could presumably rank inside the top three in 2025 with a full season of Russell Wilson under center.
