Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot) was not officially activated from Injured Reserve by his 21-day deadline on Wednesday and will not play in the Week 18 regular season finale against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. A hamstring injury kept Dulcich out for the vast majority of his second NFL season, although a foot injury was ultimately what prevented him from making a late-season return. The 23-year-old caught three of his four targets for 25 yards in the two games he appeared in this year. Adam Trautman served as Denver's top pass-catching tight end all year with Dulcich sidelined, but he wasn't a realistic weekly starting option. Dulcich has some intrigue as a pass-catcher, but he's going to need to stay on the field to stay in Denver's long-term plans heading into the 2024 season.

Jan 1 7:30pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot, hamstring) is not expected to come off Injured Reserve to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders. Dulcich was designated to return from Injured Reserve on Dec. 13 but is now unlikely to return for the final game of the season. The 23-year-old former third-round selection from UCLA in 2022 has developed an injury-prone label after playing in only two games this year, mainly due to a hamstring injury that also plagued him last season. In his two games, Dulcich caught three of four targets for 25 yards and no touchdowns. Denver's offense is going to be in flux this offseason with the team not expected to bring quarterback Russell Wilson back, and Dulcich will need to get healthy in 2024 before fantasy managers really take notice.

Dec 29 10:00pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring, foot) has been ruled out for the upcoming Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. The second-year tight end continues to work his way back from multiple injuries that have forced him to miss most of the season. Given the current state of the Broncos, it seems increasingly likely that Dulcich will sit out for the rest of the season. The Broncos have already benched Russell Wilson, so Dulcich wouldn't offer great fantasy value even if he played in the regular season finale next week.

Dec 28 7:50pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot, hamstring) missed his second day of practice this week on Thursday. It's looking more and more likely that Dulcich, who remains on Injured Reserve, won't return to play in 2023 with the Broncos' playoff chances on life support after losing their last two games. The 23-year-old second-year tight end has only been active for two games this year, mostly due to a hamstring injury, but a swollen foot is the latest issue keeping him from making a late-season return. Dulcich should only be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues at this point in the year. In his two games in 2023, Dulcich has caught three of his four targets for 25 yards. He hasn't seen game action since Week 6.

Dec 27 7:00pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (foot, hamstring) remained sidelined at the team's first practice session of the week on Wednesday. Dulcich was designated to return from Injured Reserve on Dec. 13 but has yet to officially be activated from IR. Now that the Broncos are extremely unlikely to sneak into the playoff picture in the AFC after a second straight loss in Week 16 to the New England Patriots, it feels unlikely that the Broncos will bring Dulcich back for their final two regular season games. The 23-year-old second-year tight end is believed to be healed from the hamstring injury that has caused him to miss all but two games in 2023, but now a foot injury is the thing holding him back from returning. Fantasy managers should continue to stay away from Denver's tight end situation heading into championship week.

Dec 23 12:50am ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring/foot) was officially ruled out of Week 16's matchup against the New England Patriots. Dulcich remains on injured reserve and is still in his 21-day practice window after Denver designated him to return on December 13. The 23-year-old practiced that day but foot soreness has kept him out of practices and the Broncos' Week 15 game since then. Next on the depth chart is Adam Trautman who has just 174 yards and three touchdowns on 20 receptions this year. It is best that managers avoid the Broncos' tight end group altogether as they have little to offer in fantasy value.

Dec 22 1:10am ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring/foot) did not practice on Thursday. Dulcich is dealing with hamstring and foot problems, as head coach Sean Payton revealed on Monday that the second-year tight end missed Saturday's game against the Detroit Lions due to swelling and soreness in his foot. Payton also said that he expects Dulcich to play again this year, but that doesn't look likely to occur for Christmas eve against the New England Patriots in Week 16 on Sunday. Dulcich can flash explosive playmaking when healthy but has been awfully prone to injuries in his first two seasons, making just two appearances with three catches on four targets for 25 yards in 2023. Tight ends haven't been a huge part of Denver's offense, with Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull most recently splitting snaps nearly down the middle in the Week 15 blowout loss to the Lions. Fantasy managers should search elsewhere for a streamer.

Dec 20 8:50pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring, foot), who was designated to return to practice last week while being on Injured Reserve, did not practice on Wednesday. Head coach Sean Payton said on Monday that Dulcich "had some swelling and soreness" in his foot, although the team still expects him to return this season. Dulcich is going to have to need to make progress quickly, though, with only three regular season games left. It seems unlikely that he'll return to play in Week 16 on Christmas Eve versus the New England Patriots. The 23-year-old second-year tight end has played in only two games in 2023 and is not going to be a fantasy option the rest of the way. Incumbent starting tight end Adam Trautman isn't much to look at either as mostly a blocking-first tight end.

Dec 18 12:40pm ET

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton said that tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring, foot) had some "swelling, soreness in his foot," but Payton still expects him to play at some point in the final three weeks of the season. The Broncos will see where Dulcich is at this week. The second-year tight end has been on Injured Reserve since Week 6 with a nagging hamstring injury and is now dealing with a foot issue. He might be able to make it back by Week 18, but fantasy managers in single-year leagues shouldn't be holding out any hope that he can help them win a championship. When Dulcich is activated, the 23-year-old will most certainly see limited snaps in his first game back. Adam Trautman continues to fill in as Denver's top pass-catching tight end, but he hasn't been a realistic starting option for fantasy managers with only 20 receptions for 174 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games.

Dec 14 7:50pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's Week 15 contest versus the Detroit Lions. Dulcich has only appeared in two games in his second year in the NFL and hasn't played since Week 6. He's currently on Injured Reserve and will have to get in more practice work next week before potentially being activated to play in Week 16 when the Broncos face off against the New England Patriots back at home. Adam Trautman has scored a touchdown in two of the last three games but should be avoided in fantasy because he only has 19 total catches in 13 games for 150 yards and three touchdowns. At best, Dulcich is an IR stash in deeper leagues at this point in the season.

Dec 13 10:10pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) practiced fully on Wednesday as his team prepares to take on the Detroit Lions on Saturday. Dulcich has missed most of the season with a lingering hamstring injury but he appears ready to return to action against Detroit this weekend, although head coach Sean Payton would not commit to saying whether he would play. A return to action for Dulcich would cut into Adam Trautman's workload.

Dec 2 12:30pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring), who went on Injured Reserve on Oct. 21, has started to work off to the side during practices. There is still a ways to go for him, but with six games left in the regular season, he could be a helpful late-season addition for the Broncos if all goes well. The 23-year-old third-round pick in 2022 out of UCLA has played in just two games in 2023 and just hasn't been able to get past his balky hamstring. The Broncos have yet to even open his 21-day window to be activated from Injured Reserve, so it's a long shot that Dulcich will be able to return any fantasy value this year. Adam Trautman caught his second touchdown pass of the year in the Week 12 win over the Cleveland Browns, but he really hasn't even been a TE2 streaming consideration due to his low involvement in Denver's offense.

Nov 29 6:20pm ET

According to Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette, Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) won't play in Sunday's matchup with the Houston Texans. The 23-year-old had 33 catches for 411 yards and two touchdowns last season. But he's appeared in only two games during the 2023-24 campaign, last suiting up in Week 6 in Kansas City before going on the injured reserve for the second time with a bum hamstring. At any rate, Dulcich is expected to return at some point soon. However, he must get healthy and productive before earning a spot on most fantasy rosters. In the meantime, Adam Trautman should remain the No. 1 tight end on the depth chart, although he hasn't done much to benefit fantasy managers.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 8:20pm ET

Denver Broncos tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) is now eligible to come off Injured Reserve after being on it for the second time this year with a hamstring injury. However, there hasn't been any indication that he's close to being ready to return. Dulcich hasn't been working on a side field, although head coach Sean Payton said he'll likely be back this year. The 23-year-old has played in only two games this year and last played in Week 6 before going back on IR. In his absence, blocking specialist Adam Trautman has also served as the primary pass-catching tight end, but it's led to only 15 catches for 117 yards and one touchdown in 10 games. There's no guarantee that Dulcich will be on the fantasy radar as anything more than a TE2 streamer whenever he makes it back for Denver.
