Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce took his only target of the day for a 58-yard touchdown in the team's 23-20 win against the Las Vegas Raiders. The touchdown came late in the first half, which would make for his only catch of the game. Pierce has been an underwhelming fantasy option this season, as today's win marked just the second time he's posted a double-digit fantasy outing. Pierce will look to remain involved in the team's Week 18 matchup against the Houston Texans but is largely off the fantasy radar for that contest.

Dec 8 8:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce had his best outing of the season in the team's Week 13 win against the Tennessee Titans. Pierce served as a big play threat for quarterback Gardner Minshew, reeling in three catches for 100 total yards and a touchdown. Pierce has been quiet this season, averaging a total of 26 yards per game before last week. The second-year receiver has seen plenty of playing time, as he has seen a 95% snap share this season. He now gets ready to face a Cincinnati Bengals secondary who are allowing the sixth-most receiving yards per game. Fantasy managers can look to include Pierce as a potential flex/WR4 option after his most recent showing.

Dec 3 9:30pm ET

A surprise name coming out of Indy's 31-28 overtime win against the Tennessee Titans was Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce. Pierce caught three of his six targets for a whopping 100 yards and a touchdown. Pierce served as the big play threat for Indy, catching a 39-yard touchdown early in the game and then a 55-yard reception in overtime to help Indy seal the win. Pierce has largely been off the fantasy radar this season, as he has not had a game this year where he has eclipsed 60 yards before today. The second-year receiver could be an intriguing waiver wire pickup for this week, and likely only worth a start in deeper formats for their Week 14 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Indianapolis' WR Alec Pierce had 3 receptions for 100 yards with one touchdown in Sunday's win in Tennessee.

Nov 27 12:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce caught four of his six targets for 27 yards in Week 12's 27-20 win over the visiting Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The second-year wideout improved over his one-catch outing in Week 10 against the New England Patriots, but his performance was still disappointing nonetheless in a game in which quarterback Gardner Minshew threw the pigskin 41 times. Both Michael Pittman Jr. and rookie Josh Downs had 13 targets apiece, leaving little else for the rest of the team's pass-catchers. Pierce's six targets were third on the team. As long as Downs is healthy and active, Pierce is hard to recommend as a WR4/flex in standard-sized fantasy leagues. He has yet to score in 2023 and has gone over 50 receiving yards just once (in Week 7).

Nov 3 8:20pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce is coming off a three-catch, 41-yard outing in the team's Week 8 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Pierce hasn't received a strong enough target share to warrant much fantasy relevance up to this point in the season. That could change in Week 9 as Colts rookie wide receiver Josh Downs (knee) is questionable ahead of the team's matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Downs has served as the number two option at receiver for Indy, and Pierce could look to fill the role if he can't go. The Colts do find themselves in a tougher matchup going against a Panthers' defense that has allowed the sixth-least passing yards this season. If Downs can't go, Pierce can look to be slotted in as a FLEX option.

Oct 27 4:40pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiverAlec Piercehad one of his better games of the season in Week 7 when he reeled in all three of his targets for 53 yards in the team's 39-38 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Pierce has remained the third wide receiver in terms of targets (25) and yards (202) for the Colts this season. Indy faces the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, a team currently allowing the sixth least points per game to opposing wide receivers. Given his lack of volume and a tough defensive matchup, Pierce is likely off the radar in most formats but worth a look as a flex option in some deeper leagues.

Oct 23 9:10am ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiverAlec Pierce(shoulder) has been quiet in the 2023 campaign but had his most productive outing of the season in a 39-38 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He was questionable heading into Sunday's game against Cleveland with a shoulder issue but was able to shake off the injury by catching all three of his targets for 53 yards. Indianapolis will likely see an increase in passing volume with quarterbackGardner Minshewas the starter, but not enough to make Pierce a strong option moving forward. He'll face the New Orleans Saints fifth-best pass defense in Week 8 and is mainly only an option in deeper leagues for that matchup.

Oct 22 12:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (shoulder) is officially active for Week 7 versus the Cleveland Browns. The second-year playmaker had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after logging a full practice on Friday. He's arguably third in the pecking order behind Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs, making him a non-factor in most redraft leagues.

Oct 20 3:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (shoulder) returned to a full practice on Friday but is questionable to play in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns. The fact that Pierce was able to put in a full practice on Friday puts him on the right side of questionable entering Sunday's game. Even if the 23-year-old is able to suit up in Week 7, he's a tough sell as the team's No. 3 receiver behind Michael Pittman Jr. and rookie Josh Downs in a tough matchup against one of the best defenses in the NFL. Isaiah McKenzie would most likely be the Colts' No. 3 on Sunday if Pierce were to be ruled out. In six games in his second NFL season, Pierce has caught 11 of his 22 targets for 149 yards and no touchdowns.

Oct 19 3:50pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (shoulder) is back at practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's session. Pierce did some work on the side on Wednesday but will work through his shoulder in practice on Thursday. The 23-year-old at least has a shot to be active in Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns now after getting injured in the Week 6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The second-year wideout hasn't been much of a fantasy weapon so far in 2023, though, as he's cleared been Indy's No. 3 wideout behind Michael Pittman Jr. and impressive rookie Josh Downs. Pierce has 11 receptions on 22 targets for 149 yards and no touchdowns through six games played.

Oct 18 10:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (shoulder) did not practice on Wednesday ahead of his team's Week 7 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Pierce injured his shoulder during a Week 6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and could be in danger of missing his team's game this weekend. The Colts also went ahead and signed wide receiver Juwann Winfree to their active roster, a sign that they could be without Pierce this weekend. Pierce has caught 11 passes for 149 yards in six games this season.

Oct 15 4:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 6 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. He departed the contest after turning six targets into three catches for 25 yards. In his absence, Josh Downs and Isaiah McKenzie should see more snaps while operating behind Michael Pittman Jr.
