The Cleveland Browns have signed quarterback Tyler Huntley to a one-year deal on Sunday. It's a bit surprising to see the Baltimore Ravens let Huntley walk away considering he has been a viable option for them over the last few seasons. During his career, Huntley has thrown for 1,957 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions, adding 509 rushing yards to his total as well. Huntley also started a playoff game for the Ravens during the 2022 season against the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, the 26-year-old will get a chance to compete for the backup job in Cleveland. He'll have plenty of competition with Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson also trying to secure a backup quarterback spot on the Browns.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley filled in for Lamar Jackson in a game that ultimately didn't mean much for the playoffs. In the crazy wind and rain, Huntley completed 15 of his 28 throws for 146 yards and a touchdown. He also added eight carries for 40 yards but didn't score on the ground. This was an ugly game for both offenses as they both went to the ground game more often throughout the first three quarters. While Huntley didn't produce any turnovers, he also wasn't able to contribute all that much to what amounted to a loss. The Ravens played a lot of their backups, especially in the second half, so this was an uphill battle from the start.

The Pittsburgh Steelers recorded one sack and one forced fumble while surrendering 23 points to the Seattle Seahawks in a Week 17 victory. Pittsburgh's defense will hope to have a more dominant showing against the division-rival Baltimore Ravens in its final regular-season contest. Although Baltimore's offense has been excellent this season, it will be without star quarterback Lamar Jackson and many other starters this week as the Ravens prepare for a deep playoff run. In his two full career starts against the Steelers, backup signal-caller Tyler Huntley has thrown for 271 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions while adding 96 yards on the ground. Pittsburgh is fighting for a spot in the playoffs and should come out aggressive on Saturday, putting its D/ST in play for fantasy managers.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley will take over the offense as Lamar Jackson gets some well-deserved rest after the team locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Coincidentally, Huntley started both games against the Pittsburgh Steelers last season due to injuries to Jackson, and he ended up going 1-1 in those contests. This season, Huntley has only thrown a total of nine balls and completed six of them for 57 yards and two touchdowns. Last year, he led the team to a 2-2 record in his four starts and threw one more interception than he did touchdowns. These rivalry games between the Ravens and Steelers are usually smashmouth games led by the defense and the ground game, so Huntley is difficult to trust in a fantasy championship game and likely isn't worth the money in DFS.

The Baltimore Ravens will rest quarterback Lamar Jackson, the MVP front-runner, for the Week 18 regular season finale this Saturday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens are already locked into the top overall seed in the AFC and will have a first-round bye in the playoffs. The next time they'll be a full-go will be in the Divisional Round on Jan. 20/21. Tyler Huntley will make his first start of the season in this weekend's game against a Steelers team that is still fighting for a wild-card spot. Jackson may not be the only offensive starter the Ravens choose to rest in this one, so Huntley may be working with limited weapons in a tough matchup against the Steelers. The 25-year-old will be a low-end QB2 option for fantasy managers in superflex leagues that are still playing for a title.
