Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips and tight end Trevon Wesco are both healthy scratches for the Week 17 game on Sunday against the Houston Texans. Philips missed the last two games due to a hamstring injury. He's healed up, but the Titans will keep him out regardless. The 24-year-old was also out in Week 13 and returned in Week 14 to play just three offensive snaps in the win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. The second-year receiver has mostly been an afterthought in Tennessee's offense this year, catching only 13 of his 19 targets for 166 yards and no touchdowns in eight games played. The Titans will move forward on Sunday with DeAndre Hopkins, Treylon Burks and Chris Moore as their top three wideouts.

Dec 29 1:10am ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chris Moore (ribs) stayed limited in Thursday's practice, while teammate Kyle Philips (hamstring) logged another full session. Moore brought in one pass on two targets for nine yards in last Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but he is nursing an injury to his ribs that's threatening his availability for Week 17 versus the Houston Texans. The 30-year-old veteran is an ancillary option in Tennessee's passing game and belongs nowhere near fantasy lineups if he is available on Sunday. Though Philips looks certain to be active and return from a two-game absence with a hamstring issue, he is essentially in the same boat with just 13 catches on 19 targets for 166 scoreless yards for the Titans this year. Big-armed rookie quarterback Will Levis (ankle) will likely be back in the saddle against Houston, but this low-volume pass offense has only been able to most consistently support top target DeAndre Hopkins.

Dec 27 8:20pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chris Moore (ribs) was limited in Wednesday's practice, while Kyle Philips (hamstring) was a full-go. Even with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (hand) done for the year, Moore doesn't have a very big role in Tennessee's offense as the No. 3 receiver behind DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks. The 30-year-old veteran caught only one pass for a nine-yard gain in the Week 16 loss to the Seattle Seahawks and has just 18 receptions on the year for 362 yards and no touchdowns on 28 targets. Philips has missed the last two games due to a hamstring issue but looks primed to return in Week 17 against the Houston Texans. Philips will continue to be well off the fantasy radar in his second NFL season if he plays this weekend. He has 13 catches on 19 targets for 166 yards and no touchdowns in eight games this year.

Dec 22 2:20pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 16 versus the Seattle Seahawks. He had been trending in the right direction ever since missing Wednesday's practice, but evidently it wasn't enough. He'll miss Sunday's game, and so will Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (hand), who was placed on injured reserve this week. Look for De'Andre Hopkins to remain the Titans' top receiver, ranking as a low-end fantasy WR2. Treylon Burks will also see increased opportunities but isn't on the redraft radar currently.

Dec 20 9:20pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receivers Treylon Burks (illness) and Kyle Philips (hamstring) missed practice on Wednesday. One would imagine that Burks will be able to recover between now and kickoff on Sunday, though we might not get official confirmation on his status until later this week. Philips, on the other hand, is far less of a sure thing. He missed Week 15 against the Houston Texans and hasn't been healthy enough to catch a pass since last month. With that said, he's not on the fantasy radar, so his being absent wouldn't have much of an impact on managers as the fantasy playoffs continue.

Dec 15 2:40pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips (hamstring) has officially been ruled out for the Week 15 contest on Sunday against the Houston Texans. The 24-year-old second-year wideout has been off the fantasy radar pretty much all year, as he's caught just 13 of his 19 targets for 166 yards and no touchdowns in only eight games played. He didn't make his season debut until Week 5 after opening the year on Injured Reserve due to a knee injury. In Philips' absence on Sunday against Houston, Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Chris Moore will be fighting for scraps behind No. 1 receiver DeAndre Hopkins. Even though rookie quarterback Will Levis put on a show in an improbable comeback victory over the Miami Dolphins on Monday night, Hopkins is really the only receiver in Tennessee that fantasy managers can trust in their starting lineups.

Dec 3 12:10pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips is the odd man out as a healthy scratch for Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts with Treylon Burks returning from his concussion on Sunday. It's a bit of a surprise that Philips is the one who gets the short end of the stick in the receiver room with Burks returning to the picture. The 24-year-old missed the first four games of the year and has produced 13 catches on 19 targets for 166 yards and no touchdowns in the seven contests that he has played in. However, he did have only one reception for minus-three yards in last week's win over the Carolina Panthers. Philips will be unavailable this weekend but will be hoping to play in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.

Nov 23 12:40pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips posted at least 61 receiving yards and saw five targets in Week 9 and Week 10. However, the second-year wideout caught just one pass for one yard in the Week 11 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Heading into a Week 2 matchup with the Carolina Panthers, Philips is firmly off the fantasy radar. The Panthers have allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers, and Tennessee's offensive struggles have kept DeAndre Hopkins as the only valuable pass-catcher on the team in fantasy football.

Nov 16 3:00pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips has hauled in seven of his 10 targets for 129 yards over the last two weeks. With Treylon Burks (concussion) still not likely to play in Week 11, Philips is now on the fantasy football radar. The second-year wideout has seemingly passed Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Chris Moore on the target pecking order, and rookie quarterback Will Levis brings more upside to the Tennessee offense than Ryan Tannehill (ankle). With all that said, Philips is merely a deep-league desperation flex option against the Jacksonville Jaguars. While Levis has flashed upside, his play has come back down to Earth after his promising debut a few weeks ago.

Nov 3 12:40pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips led the team in receiving in their 20-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday night, catching four of his five targets for 68 yards. Philips' four receptions tied DeAndre Hopkins and he was third in targets behind Hopkins and running back Tyjae Spears. The 24-year-old second-year wideout showed some nice chemistry with rookie quarterback Will Levis, who looked impressive in just his second NFL start. Treylon Burks had to leave the game on a stretcher late in the fourth quarter due to an apparent head injury, so Philips' role could continue to grow if Burks is forced to miss time, which seems likely. For now, Philips is a name to watch heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Oct 6 2:50pm ET

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kyle Philips (knee) said he felt good in his return to practice this week and is hoping he can return from Injured Reserve to play this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5. The 24-year-old has already put in some full practices this week, but it remains to be seen if Tennessee will officially activate Philips off IR so that he can make his season debut this weekend against the Colts. Philips' return would come at a nice time with Treylon Burks (knee) set to miss his second straight game. Still, the second-year wide receiver will most likely make more of an impact on special teams as a punt returner than on offense in Week 5 if he plays.
