The Arizona Cardinals signed former Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas to a three-year deal worth $8.25 million on Tuesday with upside for the deal to be worth $10.5 million, according to a source. Dallas was taken by Seattle in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft out of the University of Miami in Florida and he ran for 468 yards and four touchdowns on 112 rushing attempts in his four years with the team. The 25-year-old also added 61 catches for 396 yards and another score in 61 games (two starts). He will remain in the NFC West and is currently listed as the team's No. 3 RB on the depth chart behind James Conner and Emari Demercado. Dallas will likely make his biggest impact as a return man on special teams, leaving him no fantasy appeal in most setups.

Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas could see a small bump in his workload in Week 14, with both Kenneth Walker III (oblique) and Zach Charbonnet (knee) ailing. Both backs worked their way up to a full practice on Friday and are listed as questionable for Sunday's game, but are expected to play. Unless both of his fellow running backs are held out or suffer a setback midgame, Dallas is unlikely to be utilized as Seattle's primary back. Even with Walker out in Weeks 11 and 12, Dallas saw a total of just three carries and three targets. In a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, who have allowed just 66.7 rushing yards per game in the last three weeks, Dallas should not be counted on to do much even if he does take over the Seahawks backfield.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll indicated on Monday that running back DeeJay Dallas (shoulder) is "pretty sore," but he is still optimistic of his chances to get back, per Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle. Dallas sustained a right shoulder injury following a punt during Week 9's 37-3 blowout loss to game the Baltimore Ravens. The 25-year-old third-stringer's next chance to "get back" comes next Sunday versus the Washington Commanders, but it remains to be seen what type of practice activity, or lack thereof, he is able to log ahead of the action. Dallas' presence doesn't really affect the fantasy value of Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet very much, anyway, as he's operated as more of a special-team player this season.

The 25-year-old had not logged a touch prior to his departure, so his injury shouldn't prove to be too costly for the Seahawks or fantasy managers. Seattle Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas is expected to serve as the No. 2 behind Kenneth Walker III in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals because rookie Zach Charbonnet (hamstring) is not expected to play. Charbonnet was listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report. Charbonnet hasn't had any standalone fantasy value all year while working behind Walker through six weeks, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect Dallas to have any, either, despite the solid matchup against Arizona at home. Coming into Sunday's divisional clash, Dallas has only five carries for 14 yards and three catches for 11 yards in five games played.
