Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell finished with just one catch for 21 yards on four targets Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Houston held on to win 23-20, but the second-year receiver drew fewer targets than running back Joe Mixon and tight end Dalton Schultz, and caught one fewer pass than fellow receiver John Metchie III. It was yet another frustrating day for Dell, who has now finished outside of the top-30 in PPR formats in five of the past six weeks. He'll look for a rebound after the Texans' bye in Week 14.

Nov 29 9:20pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell will take on one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL when Houston travels to Jacksonville in Week 13, but he remains an unpredictable WR3/Flex option in an up-and-down offense. He is averaging more than 10 yards per target in the two games since fellow receiver Nico Collins returned, but hauled in seven catches total across both contests, signaling he is likely to be a boom-or-bust option. Jacksonville ranks 29th in air yards allowed and 31st in yards after the catch, so there certainly is home-run potential for someone in the Texans' offense, but Dell's lack of volume comes with some risk.

Nov 24 3:40pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell caught just three passes Sunday but turned them into 72 receiving yards in a 32-27 loss to Tennessee. The second-year receiver drew five targets, which ranked second on the team in a surprising defeat to a division rival. Houston rushed for a meager 40 yards against the Titans, which put the offense behind the chains for a large portion of the day. Dell and the Texans' up-and-down offense will look for a better day when they take on the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 13.

Nov 22 5:20pm CT

The Tennessee Titans present a difficult matchup for Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell in their first meeting of the season in Week 12. The Titans' brutal offense has dragged down the team's record, but their defense ranks an impressive second overall against fantasy wide receivers through 11 weeks. That presents a complicated decision for fantasy managers who roster the second-year Texan, who is once again playing second fiddle to teammate Nico Collins and dependent on a shaky Houston offensive line that has struggled to limit sacks at times. Dell is averaging 8.3 targets over his past three games, but the risk involved with the Week 12 matchup relegates him to a WR3/Flex play.

Nov 18 11:20pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell finished his team's 34-10 victory at Dallas with four catches for 54 yards on seven targets. Interestingly, it was exactly the same stat line as No. 1 receiver Nico Collins, who returned to the lineup following a prolonged absence. Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud completed passes to eight different receivers, but running back Joe Mixon accounted for all three of Houston's offensive touchdowns. Dell and the Texans will look for a breakout day against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.

Nov 16 6:10pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell once again finds himself in boom-or-bust Flex/WR3 territory with the Texans taking on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11. The 25-year-old receiver ranks a disappointing 40th at his position in PPR formats, though the Houston offense is due a major boost with the return of fellow receiver Nico Collins. Now that wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) is out for the year, the Houston offense could again look like it did in 2023 with Collins and Dell powering the passing attack. Even against middling Dallas pass defense, though, fantasy managers will have to weigh the risk of starting a No. 2 receiver on a team in the midst of major pass-protection issues.

Nov 10 11:10pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell finished with five catches for 39 yards on Sunday in a 26-23 loss to the Detroit Lions. The second-year receiver was targeted a team-high nine times, but finished fourth on the team in receiving yards. The Houston offense didn't do much of anything in the second half, during which they failed to score as Detroit rallied from a 16-point halftime deficit to win the game. Dell's time as the No. 1 receiver is likely coming to an end, as Nico Collins (hamstring) nears a return, but he should still be firmly involved for the AFC South leaders. Houston takes on Dallas in Week 11.

Nov 10 6:50pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (back) is officially active for the Week 10 contest against the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football after being listed as questionable on Friday's final injury report. Despite dealing with a back injury, Dell was expected to play through the injury. It's big news for the Texans offense since Nico Collins (hamstring) will miss another game despite being activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday. Remember that Stefon Diggs (knee) is out for the rest of the year due to a torn right ACL. It means that Dell will operate as the Texans' top wideout in a primetime showdown against a Lions defense that has allowed the third-most half-PPR points all year to wideouts. In last week's win over the New York Jets on Halloween, Dell had six catches for a season-high 126 yards. Xavier Hutchinson and Robert Woods should have bigger roles as well behind Dell.

Nov 9 1:30pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (back) is listed as questionable but is expected to suit up on Sunday evening to face the Detroit Lions, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2. Dell popped up on the injury report on Friday and was listed as a limited participant. However, given this report, fantasy managers should not be overly concerned with his availability over the weekend. Last week, Dell operated as the top wideout with Nico Collins (hamstring) still sidelined and Stefon Diggs (knee) out with a torn ACL. In that game, Dell brought in a season-high 126 yards off six receptions. Collins is also listed as questionable, but if Dell is able to play, he should be viewed as a solid WR2 given the matchup against the Lions, who have allowed the third-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.

Nov 8 3:50pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (back) was added to the injury report on Friday and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's game according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. This is not a positive sign for his status for this weekend's game as the sophomore wideout practiced in full earlier in the week. Fantasy managers should pay close attention to his status over the weekend as he may end up being a game-time decision. The Texans are also listing top wideout Nico Collins (hamstring) as questionable as well. If both wideouts are unable to play, fantasy managers should look to find an alternative option over quarterback C.J. Stroud. Last week, Dell enjoyed his best outing of the season as he brought in a season-high 126 yards and should be viewed as a solid WR2 if he is able to play.

Houston Texans' WR Tank Dell had 6 receptions for 126 yards but no touchdowns for an outstanding 21.0 yards per catch in Thursday's loss in New York Jets.

Oct 31 10:50pm CT

For the first time this season, Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell reached a triple-digit receiving total with 126 yards on six catches in a 21-13 loss against the New York Jets. He was targeted a team-high nine times, but Houston completed only 11 passes for 191 yards as a team. The second-year receiver filled in nicely as the No. 1 option on the Texans, who were playing without Nico Collins (hamstring) and Stefon Diggs (knee). Collins is eligible to return next week, though Dell faces a nice matchup with or without him in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.

Oct 30 3:30pm CT

Injuries have rearranged the Houston Texans' offense, leaving wide receiver Tank Dell as the team's top pass-catching option heading into a Thursday Night Football showdown at the New York Jets. The 25-year-old figures to see a significant, if temporary, role increase with fellow receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) set to miss a minimum of one more game and Stefon Diggs (knee) out for the season. Unfortunately for Houston, the Jets boast arguably the best cornerback tandem in football with Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed. Dell caught a touchdown last week and should see more targets, though this matchup isn't ideal, making him a low-end WR2 or flex option in Week 9.

Oct 27 4:20pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell found the end zone on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, the highlight of a day that included four catches for 35 yards. The second-year receiver caught all four of his targets, and unlike last week, hauled in a red-zone pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud for a seven-yard touchdown. Elsewhere, fellow wide receiver Stefon Diggs (knee) left the game with what appeared to be a serious injury. Top receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is currently on injured reserve, so fantasy managers will have to monitor Houston's injury reports this week. Dell and the Texans take on the New York Jets in Week 9.

Oct 25 5:30pm CT

Coming off his worst game of the year, Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is a boom-or-bust flex option in a decent matchup in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts. Fantasy managers who played the 24-year-old receiver last week got crickets: no catches on four targets, including a drop of a would-have-been touchdown. Houston remains committed to keeping him involved, however, and leading receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is out at least two more weeks. The Colts have allowed 10 passing touchdowns in seven games and rank 26th in air yards allowed. Dell believers will feel he's due for a rebound in Week 8, but he comes with obvious risk.

Oct 21 8:50pm CT

Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell posted a dud during Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. Dell failed to haul in any of his four targets in the narrow defeat. Before that, Dell had 11 receptions for 95 yards and one touchdown over the two previous contests. After the game, quarterback C.J. Stroud acknowledged that they need to do a better job of getting Dell involved in the offense. The Texans desperately need Dell to step up with Nico Collins (hamstring) sidelined right now. The hope is that Dell bounces back after this which he should considering he does have a ton of potential. Fantasy managers should consider his bad performance as more of a fluke outing.

Oct 20 3:10pm CT

Coming off his best game of the season in Week 6, Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell followed with his worst in Week 7, finishing with zero catches on four targets in a 24-22 loss at Green Bay. The Houston offense finished with a season-worst 86 passing yards, and the second-year receiver wasn't involved at all. Sunday was another frustrating outing for fantasy managers who have hoped for more from Dell, who has 194 receiving yards in seven games. Houston will look for a better offensive performance in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Oct 18 12:20pm CT

Coming off his best game of the season, Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is a solid flex option heading into a Week 7 matchup at Green Bay. The diminutive receiver drew a team-high nine targets in Week 6, which is no coincidence as Houston reconfigures its offense with top receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) on injured reserve. Green Bay ranks 22nd against fantasy wide receivers and 26th in air yards allowed, which are both green lights for a deep threat like Dell. Given his increased target share and Houston's penchant to use him creatively, the second-year receiver is worthy of a start for fantasy managers looking for flex production in Week 7.

Oct 13 3:30pm CT

After what has been a frustrating start to the season, Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell broke out Sunday at New England with seven catches for 57 yards and a touchdown on a team-high nine targets. The second-year receiver was involved early, finishing Houston's first drive with a two-yard touchdown reception, his first scoring play of the season. Houston will be without star wide receiver Nico Collins for at least three more weeks, so Dell's usage at New England could be a preview of the weeks to come. The former Houston Cougar will look for more production when the Texans travel to Green Bay in Week 7.

From RotoBaller

Oct 11 1:00pm CT

Fantasy managers who selected Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell haven't seen much production yet, but there's some hope that could change in Week 6 with Houston at New England. The second-year pass-catcher could be in line to improve on a disappointing 71st ranking among fantasy receivers, as team-leading wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) is set to miss at least the next month on injured reserve. Dell has at least four targets in every game in which he has appeared and also has carried the ball six times, however, so Houston at least seems committed to keeping him involved. He should be considered a boom-or-bust flex option with the Texans playing a decent New England pass defense.
