Dynasty | Colts receiver Parris Campbell was a standout in OTAs and was running with the first team. Dynasty Analysis: So we're doing this again are we? Dynasty leaguers have been burned for three seasons running on the hype and impressive camp performance(s) of Campbell, who turns 25 later this month. There's clearly upside for the fourth-year player who could be considered the WR2 behind Michael Pittman. The Colts are also high on 2022 rookie Alec Pierce but, as a rookie, nothing can be guaranteed until we see the starting lineup come week one. As for Campbell, there's no questioning the receiver's upside if he's able to remain healthy through training camp and open the season as a starter, but now sparsely ranked as DLF"s WR113, it's obvious that there's little expectation for either.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell has been exclusively running with the first unit during minicamp. The 24-year-old entered the league in 2019 with plenty of hype following his second round selection. Since then, Campbell has played in a total of 15 games over the course of three seasons. The departure of T.Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal should open up more chances for Campbell next season. Campbell could very well be a major target for the Colts offense next season. Although, it remains to be seen if he can actually be a healthy and reliable option.

Although the Indianapolis Colts organized team activity practices aren't in pads, new quarterback Matt Ryan has looked good, and his smooth and sharp release is a weapon the team intends to use. Ryan's presence has quickened the offense and should make the unit more efficient and productive, especially through the air. Ryan mostly carved up the defense on Wednesday, at one point hitting wide receiver Parris Campbell for three straight touchdowns. Campbell caught a dozen or so balls on Wednesday. Injury concerns continue to hover over him, but he's been very consistent in the early stages of the offseason and could be the biggest beneficiary of Ryan leading the offense.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell (foot) said he feels great and hasn't had any physical limitations this offseason. He is fully participating in all team drills during organized team activities. Campbell had foot surgery in the middle of last season and played in just six games, recording 10 receptions for 162 yards and one touchdown on 20 targets for the Colts. The 24-year-old has played in a total of 15 games in his three NFL seasons and hasn't been able to shake the injury bug. He still has a lot to prove and will have to earn a starting role, especially after the Colts drafted rookie pass-catcher Alec Pierce in the second round.

Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard said that he's "not quitting on Parris Campbell." "But does it mean we're going to sit here and count on him to be our No. 2 or 3 right away? No. We will add competition to the position." Campbell managed to play just six games in 2021 and needed foot surgery in the middle of the season. In three seasons in Indy, he has played in only 15 games (eight starts) due to injuries, and he finished last year with 10 receptions on 20 targets for 162 yards and one touchdown. The Colts have questions at quarterback, but T.Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal are impending free agents, so Campbell could have a significant role in 2022 if Hilton and Pascal don't return and he can stay on the field.

Jan 9 12:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell (foot), who was activated from Injured Reserve on Saturday, is officially active in Week 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars to close out the regular season. The Colts will get a big receiving weapon back in a must-win game, but Campbell hasn't played since Week 6, so there's a good chance that he'll be eased back into the offense alongside Michael Pittman Jr., T.Y. Hilton and Zach Pascal. Before he was injured, Campbell caught 10 of his 17 targets for 162 yards and one touchdown in six games played. His return will take targets and playing time away from the rest of the Colts receivers, mainly Pascal, but he shouldn't be a major threat to Pittman's upside in an excellent matchup against Jacksonville.

Jan 8 1:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell (foot) has been activated from injured reserve Saturday, paving the way for a potential return to action in Week 18 against Jacksonville. Campbell has not appeared since Week 6 after having undergone foot surgery, making him an extremely difficult fantasy asset to trust if he does ultimately get cleared. Injuries have been a perennial bugaboo for Campbell during the early part of his career, as he has been limited to just 14 games in three seasons. His final catch before being sidelined back in October was a career-long 51-yard reception for his second professional touchdown. The Colts still have their playoff lives to play for Sunday, making top fantasy targets such as Jonathan Taylor, Michael Pittman Jr., and Carson Wentz all viable assets.
