Player Notes
Dec 31 7:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker is expected to be released this offseason. The team would save $9.4 million salary cap space if they cut Parker.

Fantasy Spin: Parker probably would receive interest from several teams if available this offseason but may not be able to find a starting job. He has the potential to be a solid receiver and could have fantasy value depending on his next team.

Dec 30 4:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker was blanked on three targets in Week 17 against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: Parker was held to just three grabs for 31 yards on 11 targets in his final four outings, wrapping up another disappointing, erratic and injury-marred season. Perhaps one day the light just goes off for the speed burner, but it's starting to become a recurring theme.

Dec 27 3:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker will be active for the Week 17 game even though his 2019 salary of $9.37 million would be guaranteed if he suffered a significant injury during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Parker has not been a big factor in the passing game this season and probably will not receive a lot of targets this week. He should be avoided in all leagues.

Dec 21 4:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

Fantasy Spin: Parker has not been a big part in the passing game this season and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.

Dec 20 11:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker is basically being phased out of the offense and isn't likely to be a part of the team's future. Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said: "It's combination of injuries, production, practice." Parker has only played in nine games on the season and has 22 catches on 41 targets for 296 yards and one touchdown. He's been targeted four times and has just one catch for 18 yards in the last two games. Avoid him at all costs to close out the year.

Dec 20 8:43pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker 'seemingly being phased out of the offense' was brought up to offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains, who said that 'it's a combination of injuries, production, practice.' Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald mentioned the club 'appears very likely to move on' from Parker after the season.

Fantasy Spin: Loggains isn't incorrect, as Parker has simply been a bust for the most part in his four years in Miami. The former first-round draft choice has a lot of talent, so it's possible he bounces back elsewhere, but regarding the present day, owners can safely leave Parker on the waiver wire with the season about to reach its conclusion.

Dec 20 6:13pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 20.

Fantasy Spin: Parker was not targeted in the last game and has been held to four receptions or less in seven of his nine games this season. He probably should be avoided in all leagues especially because of the matchup.

Dec 19 5:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee), DT Ziggy Hood (hamstring) and S T.J. McDonald (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 19. LB Kiko Alonso (knee, hamstring), CB Cornell Armstrong (ankle), LS John Denney (finger, hamstring), CB Xavien Howard (knee) and QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder, ankle) were listed as a limited participants. RB Kalen Ballage (hip), RB Kenyan Drake (shoulder), OT Ja'Wuan James (shoulder), FS Reshad Jones (shoulder), WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) and C Travis Swanson (ankle) took part in a full practice session.

Dec 17 12:30pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker played just 19 of 53 offensive snaps in the Week 15 loss to the Vikings and is likely in his final weeks with the team. The 25-year-old continues to be a disappointment for fantasy owners and the Dolphins, and he's gone over 100 yards just once this year while getting off to a late start due to injury. He has only one touchdown and has played in only nine games. Parker has only five targets and one catch for 18 yards in the last two games. He shouldn't be owned anywhere. Kenny Stills and Danny Amendola are the best bets for fantasy, but it's impossible to predict when they will shine on a week-to-week basis.

Dec 16 9:03pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) had no offensive statistics and he was targeted just once in the Week 15 game against the Minnesota Vikings. He entered the day questionable due to a shoulder ailment.

Fantasy Spin: Parker has a ton of potential but he has rarely been able to stay on the field for several games in a row without any setbacks due to injury. As such he isn't a reliable fantasy option. The Dolphins host the Jaguars in Week 16.

Dec 16 4:50pm ET

Miami Dolphins Devante Parker may as well not have shown up for work on Sunday. He caught zero passes on one target in the Dolphins' 41-17 loss to Minnesota. Ryan Tannehill was sacked nine times in this game and only threw for 108 yards, so naturally Miami receivers struggled to produce. Parker hasn't been good enough to warrant starting anyway, but he off limits in Week 16 against Jacksonville.

From RotoBaller

Dec 15 2:20pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker is nothing more than a desperation play in a Week 15 matchup with the Minnesota Vikings. Parker caught just one pass on four targets last week, and has been maddeningly inconsistent all season. The Vikings have a tough secondary, having allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers in 2018. Parker has a had a few nice games this season, but should be avoided if possible in this game.

Dec 14 2:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 15.

Fantasy Spin: Parker has caught only 22 passes in eight games this season and has been held to 40 yards or less in five of those games. He can be benched in most leagues this week because he will have a tough matchup.

Dec 14 1:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins CB Xavien Howard (knee) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful for Week 15 versus the Minnesota Vikings. S T.J. McDonald (ankle) was a full participant in practice Friday, Dec. 14, but is listed as questionable. WR Danny Amendola (knee), QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder, ankle) and OT Laremy Tunsil (knee) remained limited at practice Friday but no longer appear on the injury report. CB Cornell Armstrong (ankle), LS John Denney (finger), RB Kenyan Drake (shoulder), RB Frank Gore (non-injury), OT Ja'Wuan James (quad), FS Reshad Jones (shoulder), WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) and C Travis Swanson (ankle) fully participated in practice Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

Dec 13 4:33pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 13.

Fantasy Spin: Parker has been held to under 20 yards in three of his last five games but has been targeted 14 times in the last three games. He should have a role in the passing game this week but can be benched in fantasy leagues.

Dec 12 5:53pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (knee) and CB Xavien Howard (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 12. CB Cornell Armstrong (ankle), RB Kenyan Drake (shoulder), OT Ja'Wuan James (quadriceps), S T.J. McDonald (ankle), WR DeVante Parker (shoulder), QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder, ankle) and OT Laremy Tunsil (knee) were listed as limited participants, while LS John Denney (finger), FS Reshad Jones (shoulder) and C Travis Swanson (ankle) practiced in full.

Dec 9 5:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker caught one pass for 18 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Parker has been held to under 50 yards in each of the last five games and has not been a big factor in the passing game. He can be avoided in most leagues next week.

Dec 9 5:00pm ET

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker was scarcely involved in Miami's 34-33 victory over New England in Week 14. Parker caught one pass on four targets for 18 yards. His biggest impact came on the final play, where Parker received a lateral from Kenny Stills and then lateraled to Kenyan Drake, who scored the game winning touchdown. Parker doesn't get enough volume to be anything more than desperation WR5. That is exactly what he'll be in Week 15 against Minnesota.

From RotoBaller

Dec 7 4:53pm ET

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 7, but is not on the injury report for Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Parker was able to find the end zone last week but was held to under 50 yards for the sixth time in seven games this season. He should be targeted in the passing game this week, but owners should be able to find better options for their lineups.

Dec 7 2:23pm ET

Miami Dolphins C Jake Brendel (calf) and CB Xavien Howard (knee) did not participate in practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 14 versus the New England Patriots. WR Danny Amendola and C Travis Swanson (ankle) were limited in practice all week and are listed as questionable. RB Kenyan Drake (shoulder) and WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) remained limited in practice all week but no longer appear on the injury report. CB Cornell Armstrong (knee), RB Frank Gore (non-injury), OT Ja'Wuan James (knee), FS Reshad Jones (shoulder), OL Ted Larsen (neck), CB Bobby McCain (knee), QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder), OT Laremy Tunsil (knee) and DE Cameron Wake (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 7 and have been removed from the injury report.
