Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker (shoulder) is considered week-to-week with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder, according to a source. Parker will not need surgery as the team heads into their bye week. The 25-year-old was inefficient in Week 10 against Green Bay, catching just five of his 11 targets for just 43 yards in the loss. Aside from a 134-yard performance on Oct. 25, Parker has done nothing for fantasy owners and has been hurt for much of the year. He continues to be a disappointment and can be left to the waiver wire with Miami on bye in Week 11. There's no guarantee he'll be active in Week 12 against Colts either.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) suffered an AC joint sprain in his shoulder in Week 10 and is considered week-to-week, according to a source. He will not need surgery and has more time to recover with the Dolphins on a bye next week.
Fantasy Spin: Parker only caught five of 11 targets for 43 yards yesterday, but he has now averaged 7.3 targets over his last three contests. Consistency isn't there yet, though, so starting him as a flex in good matchups is the safest route to take.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker (shoulder) is dealing with another injury, as he suffered a shoulder injury late in Miami's Week 10 loss to Green Bay. Parker's left arm was in a sling as he left the locker room after the game. This is the third unique injury that Parker has suffered this season, after breaking his finger during the preseason and suffering a quad injury shortly after his finger healed. The Dolphins are on bye this week, which should give Parker extra time to heal. He is not a mandatory hold during the bye week given his injury history and inconsistent production.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker was a key piece to the Dolphins game plan in Week 10, leading the team with 11 targets in their 31-12 loss to Green Bay. Unfortunately, those targets came from Brock Osweiler, and Parker wound up with just five catches for 43 yards. The most egregious play occurred towards the end of the second half, when Osweiler air-mailed a ball to a wide open Parker. The play almost certainly would've been a touchdown, but instead Parker was forced to make a futile dive for the ball and watch it fall incomplete. Parker has dealt with injuries and rumors of discord with the coaching staff and front office all year, but the return of Ryan Tannehill after the team's Week 11 bye could boost his value a bit. He might be a sneaky player to add in Week 11 ahead of the action.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) left the Week 10 game against the Green Bay Packers due to a shoulder injury.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy owners have seen this movie before. Parker can be an electric player when he is healthy, but he has a difficult time staying on the field. The good news is Week 11 is a bye, so he'll get a chance to heal up.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker carries significant risk in his Week 10 matchup against Green Bay. Parker had a big game in Week 8, putting up 134 yards after returning from injury, but followed it up with a huge dud in Week 9, catching just one pass for eight yards. Brock Osweiler has neither the arm or inclination to throw deep or take chances, which hurts a receiver of Parker's skill set. He should be avoided in 10 or 12-team leagues.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Fantasy Spin: Parker has had one outstanding performance this season and has combined for 48 yards in the other three games he has played. He should receive some targets this week but can stay on the bench in most fantasy leagues.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.
Fantasy Spin: Parker has had one big game this season but is coming off a disappointing performance last week. He should see more targets this week against the Green Bay Packers but probably can be avoided in most leagues.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Fantasy Spin: Parker struggled in the last game and was held to one catch for eight yards. He has received 11 targets in the last two games but is not the best option for fantasy owners this week.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker (knee) is on the Week 10 injury report but took part in a full practice on Wednesday. Tight end A.J. Derby (foot) also practiced in full after missing several weeks. Parker blew up for six catches and 134 yards two weeks ago, but he went back to being a disappointment with one catch for eight yards in the Week 9 win. With Kenny Stills back from his injury, the Dolphins will continue to spread the ball around between Parker, Stills, Danny Amendola and Jakeem Grant, making them all lottery tickets in fantasy. Even if Derby returns this weekend against the Packers, he'll be behind rookie Mike Gesicki in the pecking order.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker finished with one catch for eight yards on two targets in Week 9 versus the New York Jets.
Fantasy Spin: While owners will be quick to dismiss this as the same old rollercoaster ride Parker usually gives fantasy owners (he had six catches for 134 yards in Week 8), he had one play wiped out due to penalty and Brock Osweiler underthrew him on another potential big gain. With that said, inconsistency is going to be par for the course for just about any receiver with Osweiler under center. Parker is going to be a risky flex option at best in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker will continue to be moved between receiver positions to make sure 'guys can't get a beat on him,' head coach Adam Gase said.
Fantasy Spin: The strategy seemed to work in Week 8 as Parker caught six passes for 134 yards. Consistency has always been the issue with Parker, but he has enough upside to deploy as a WR3 against the New York Jets in Week 9.
Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said he's confident that the team will not trade wide receiver Devante Parker. The 25-year-old looked destined to be playing for another team just two weeks ago, but he's now likely to stay after the team lost Kenny Stills to an injury and Albert Wilson for the year in Week 7. Parker responded by leading the team with six catches for 134 yards last Thursday. While Parker remains a question mark in terms of production, he should continue to have a big role with Wilson out and Stills potentially missing another game in Week 9 against the Jets. Those that are desperate at the position could look to add Parker off the waiver wire.
Dolphins' WR DeVante Parker had 6 receptions for 134 yards but no touchdowns for an outstanding 22.3 yards per catch in Thursday's loss in Houston.
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker had a big day in Miami's 42-23 loss to Houston in Week 8. He caught six passes for 134 yards on nine targets. Parker hadn't played since Week 6 and only played in two games prior to this one, combing for two catches on four targets for forty yards. With Albert Wilson done for the season and Kenny Stills out for perhaps beyond this week Parker could be in a position to produce as the Dolphins most complete active receiver.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker caught six passes (on nine targets) for 134 yards during the team's loss to the Houston Texans on Thursday, Oct. 25.
Fantasy Spin: A frequent inactive this season, Parker stepped up Thursday night. Now the question is whether Parker's performance endeared him to the Dolphins or simply piqued trade interest around the NFL? We'll know by this coming Tuesday. Add Parker on your watch list.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (quadriceps) is expected to play in Week 8, according to head coach Adam Gase.
Fantasy Spin: Despite Parker's tenure to forget in Miami, the Dolphins need him with both Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson nursing injuries. However, it is best to wait at least a week before deploying Parker into starting lineups. He has played sparingly in 2018 as he has not been able to stay healthy.
Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker has received some trade interest from the Philadelphia Eagles, according to sources.
Fantasy Spin: Parker has struggled with injuries this season and could be moved before the trade deadline. He would be joining a better offense if he is traded to the Eagles but probably would only be a flex option against favorable matchups and not a weekly starting option.
The Dallas Cowboys are monitoring Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Devante Parker, according to a source. The Cowboys are one of the most receiver-needy teams in the NFL but are still unsure if they'll make a move to acquire a wideout before the Oct. 30 deadline. Benjamin and Parker have been among the biggest fantasy busts at the position, and Parker has struggled with injuries and has only been active for two games this year. Both could use a change of scenery, but moving to Dallas' putrid passing attack might not make them that much more attractive to fantasy owners. Stay tuned.
Buffalo Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin and Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker are possible trade targets for the Dallas Cowboys, according to sources.
Fantasy Spin: Owners will need to monitor the situation over the next week to see if the Cowboys are able to add Benjamin or Parker. Both receivers probably would see an increase in their fantasy value if they join the Cowboys, but neither would be a weekly starting option.
