Tennessee Titans TEs Delanie Walker (ankle) and Jonnu Smith (knee) were not at mandatory minicamp Tuesday, June 11.
Tennessee Titans tight ends Delanie Walker (ankle) and Jonnu Smith (knee) were both not practicing at minicamp on Tuesday. Both Walker and Smith suffered serious and season-ending injuries last year. Walker's came in Week 1, while Smith suffered his in Week 14. Walker, going into his age-35 season, has the much more established career and has been a productive TE1 for fantasy owners in the past with a 1,000-yard season under his belt (2015), but you might want to temper your expectations with him coming off a serious injury. Smith also showed that he could more than fill Walker's shoes in 2018. Walker should be looked at as a low-end TE1 in a run-first offense.
Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith (knee) was able to do some running on the field after practice Tuesday, June 4.
Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith (knee) has been unable to participate in OTAs as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith (knee) didn't take part in organized team activities on Tuesday but got some work in off the jugs machine after practice. The 23-year-old tore his MCL last year and caught just 20 passes for 258 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games before his injury in 2018. As long as veteran Delanie Walker, who is also returning from an injury, stays healthy, Smith's fantasy upside will be limited in Tennessee's run-first offense.
Tennessee Titans TE Jonnu Smith (knee) was unable to participate in offseason throwing sessions with QB Marcus Mariota.
