New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson caught two passes for 51 yards and one touchdown against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.
Fantasy Spin: Patterson has not had a big role in the running game over the last two weeks but has caught four passes for 104 yards during that span. He has a chance to be a flex option in some deeper leagues next week but is not a must-start option.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson rushed four times for 11 yards in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans and he did not have a catch or target.
Fantasy Spin: Patterson's touches dried up a bit with Sony Michel back from a knee injury. As such, Patterson's fantasy appeal is once again limited to deeper leagues heading into Week 12 after the bye.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson (neck) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Fantasy Spin: Patterson has been used in the running game over the last several weeks, but his fantasy value will drop if Sony Michel is able to play. Patterson could be a flex option in some leagues if Michel is ruled out.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson (neck) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 8.
Fantasy Spin: Patterson has become more involved in the running back over the last few weeks and has received 21 carries in the last two games. He likely will lose some work if Sony Michel is able to play but would be a flex option if Michel is ruled out.
New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson heads into Week 10 with a new role in the offense and a new position in fantasy leagues -- running back. Patterson now qualifies as a RB/WR heading into the team's matchup against a Titans defense that is allowing the eighth most fantasy points to receivers this season. This versatility certainly will give his fantasy value a boost and Patterson has been deployed in the backfield the past two weeks, racking up 21 carries. The Patriots are hoping to get rookie running back Sony Michel back from a knee injury this week and veteran James White is having a career season. Patterson is worth an add in most formats but can't be trusted, just yet, to be in starting lineups for Week 10.
New England Patriots RB Cordarrelle Patterson (neck) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.
Fantasy Spin: It's no surprised to see Patterson hit the injury report, as his usage has been up lately and he has been pounded in as a running back with Sony Michel on the shelf. If Michel returns, Patterson's touches are likely to be limited again. So don't just watch Patterson's injury status on Friday, but Michel's as well.
New England Patriots OL Trent Brown (illness) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 7. LS Joe Cardona (shoulder), WR Julian Edelman (ankle), TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back), LB Dont'a Hightower (knee), TE Jacob Hollister (hamstring), OL Shaquille Mason (calf), RB Sony Michel (knee), WR Cordarrelle Patterson (neck) and DE John Simon (shoulder) were listed as limited participants.
New England Patriots wide receiver (running back?) Cordarrelle Patterson stepped up among a thin Patriots backfield to rush the ball 11 times for 61 yards and one touchdown in Week 9. The Patriots were already down rookie runner Sony Michel to start the game but veteran James White appeared to tweak something in the first half. Enter Patterson, who was deployed in the backfield and ran hard for some impressive gains. The Patriots leaned on him multiple times on a drive that resulted in a rushing touchdown for Patterson. The veteran receiver has jumped from team to team over the past several seasons because of his poor route running and an inability for teams to utilize his talent as a runner in space. It is unclear if this trend continues but Patterson getting more touches out of the backfield moving forward is not out of the question after racking up 21 rushes over his last two games. Patterson officially is worth an add in most fantasy formats heading into Week 10.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson rushed 11 times for 61 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers and he caught one ball for seven yards.
Fantasy Spin: Patterson stepped up for the second straight week and ran the ball well with the tailbacks banged up. His fantasy value is at its highest point at any juncture of his career. However, if Sony Michel is back in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans, Patterson is unlikely to see as many touches.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson (neck) was listed as a limited participant in practice Friday, Nov. 2 and he is considered questionable for Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.
Fantasy Spin: Patterson saw some increased work out of the backfield in Monday's game at Buffalo, and it's possible that continues with Sony Michel a question mark for SNF. If Michel is out Patterson could see some carries if James White is unable to get going. Patterson's fantasy appeal is still fairly minimal in most leagues, however.
New England Patriots LB Nicholas Grigsby (illness), OL Shaquille Mason (calf) and DL Brian Schwenke (foot) did not practice Friday, Nov. 2. Mason and Schwenke have been ruled out for Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers, while Grigsby is considered questionable. OL Trent Brown (ankle), OT Marcus Cannon (concussion), LS Joe Cardona (shoulder), WR Julian Edelman (ankle), WR Josh Gordon (hamstring), DL Geneo Grissom (ankle), TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back), LB Dont'a Hightower (knee), TE Jacob Hollister (hamstring), RB Sony Michel (knee), WR Cordarrelle Patterson (neck) and DE John Simon (shoulder) were each limited and are listed as questionable. P Ryan Allen (ankle) and DL Deatrich Wise Jr. (illness) were full participated and are lifted from the report.
New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson surprised with 10 carries for 38 rushing yards in the Patriots 25-6 win over the Bills. Patterson was not targeted in the game but instead was utilized out of the backfield on reverse sweeps and gadget run plays. The speedy veteran has been used in multiple different variations in the Patriots offense this season but has struggled with his route running on pass plays. Patterson has value returning kicks and is a threat when given the ball in space but his usage rate is completely unpredictable. Patterson could be worth a roster spot in deeper leagues but has little value in fantasy starting lineups moving forward.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson rushed 10 times for 38 yards in the Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday, Oct. 29.
Fantasy Spin: Patterson was doing his best Ty Montgomery imitation, as perhaps Bill Belichick and the Patriots are going to use him as out of the backfield on a regular basis. James White and Kenjon Barner were the only active RBs, and neither did anything.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson had just one grab for four yards in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears, but he had a big 95-yard kickoff return for touchdown in the win.
New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson caught two passes for 11 yards but one of those receptions turned into his second touchdown of the season in Week 5. Patterson is a pure athlete and can be dangerous once the ball is in his hands. But getting him that football is another story as Patterson has struggled with his route-running in the Patriots intricate offense. The veteran is always a threat to score from anywhere on the field but is mostly a gadget receiver right now. He will be boom-or-bust next week against a Chiefs defense that is vulnerable to giving up the big play.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson caught two passes for 11 yards and a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, Oct. 5.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson caught three passes for 54 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown, and rushed once for 11 yards in a 38-7 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.
New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson caught three passes for 54 yards in the Patriots 38-7 win over the Dolphins. Patterson caught two passes for negative yardage but hauled in a pass from quarterback Tom Brady and sprinted to the end zone for a 55-yard score. Patterson has looked lost at times in the Patriots offense but has the athletic ability to score at any time. Despite the touchdown catch in Week 4, Patterson misses more than hits game-to-game and should not be fantasy viable at this time.
New England Patriots wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson caught five passes for 37 yards in the Patriots 25-14 preseason loss to the Panthers. Patterson continues to have a strong showing in preseason and provides an dynamic that the Patriots offense hasn't seen in past seasons. Patterson now has 11 receptions in three preseason games for 126 yards and appears to be a lock to make the final roster. Patterson won't see a ton of targets but can bring a big-play element to an already potent offense.
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson caught five passes on nine targets for 37 yards in a 25-14 preseason loss to the Carolina Panthers Saturday, Aug. 25.
