New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) was limited in practice Thursday, Dec. 5.

Fantasy Spin: Engram hasn't played since Week 9 but the return to practice is a positive sign. He'll, of course, need to be in lineups Monday night against the Philadelphia Eagles if able to suit up.

From TheHuddle

Dec 5 12:40pm ET

New York Giants tight ends Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) and wide receiver Golden Tate (concussion) are all practicing on Thursday. All three players have a chance of returning on Monday night against the Eagles, but they'll be tough calls in fantasy if they carry questionable designations and are game-time calls. Engram has disappointed this year because of injury, but he'll immediately return to being a TE1 if he's active. Tate's return would be good news for quarterback Eli Manning, who will likely start for Daniel Jones (ankle), but it will hurt Sterling Shepard's upside as a WR2 in a great matchup. Ellison would only be fantasy relevant if he starts and Engram sits. Philly's defense won't be as great of a streamer if New York gets all their offensive weapons back.

From RotoBaller

Dec 4 12:53pm ET

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) has a strong chance to return in Week 14.

Fantasy Spin: Engram would be returning with Eli Manning likely under center. However, if Engram is finally healthy, it doesn't matter who throws to him. He's a midrange TE1 if he goes.

From TheHuddle

Dec 4 12:40pm ET

New York Giants tight end Evan Engram (foot) said that he expects to play on Monday night against the Eagles after missing the last two games. Rookie Kaden Smith has benefitted from Engram's absence the last two weeks with more playing time, but he's been nothing more than a touchdown-dependent, low-end TE2. Engram has been a disappointment this year as he's battled through injuries, catching 44 passes (68 targets) for 467 yards and three touchdowns. If he's back on Monday, he'll immediately return to TE1 status with quarterback Eli Manning back under center. Keep an eye on Engram's practice status later this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 4:43pm ET

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot), S Jabrill Peppers (back) and WR Golden Tate (concussion) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 13 versus the Green Bay Packers. TE Rhett Ellison (concussion) was not given a practice designation Friday, Nov. 29, but no longer appears on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 29 1:10pm ET

New York Giants tight ends Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) have both been ruled out for Week 13 against the Packers. The Giants will also be missing wide receiver Golden Tate (concussion), so their offense will be undermanned against Green Bay. Rookie Kaden Smith played most of the snaps last week with Engram and Ellison out, and he also had a touchdown among his five catches. If you're desperate at tight end, Smith is a touchdown-dependent TE2 dart throw again this week.

From RotoBaller

Nov 29 12:43pm ET

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) on Friday, Nov. 29, was ruled out of the team's Week 13 game against the Green Bay Packers with a foot injury.

Fantasy Spin: Engram hasn't played since Nov. 4 and will miss a third straight game to keep the already-thin fantasy tight end market even thinner. Hopefully. Engram's fantasy owners have found a suitable replacement because who know how long this foot issue may linger.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 2:43pm ET

New York Giants TEs Rhett Ellison (concussion) and Evan Engram (foot), S Jabrill Peppers (back), WR Golden Tate (concussion) and LS Zak DeOssie (knee, wrist) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 28.

From TheHuddle

Nov 28 2:20pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate (concussion) and tight ends Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) all missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. All three players are in serious danger of missing Week 13 against the Packers. It would mean that Sterling Shepard, Darius Slay and Cody Latimer would operate in three-receiver sets. Rookie tight end Kaden Smith would be the primary pass-catching tight end for the second straight week. Shepard would have WR2 upside if Tate misses this contest, while Smith would have TE2 streaming appeal if he can find paydirt. Check back Friday to see if any of these injured players can return to practice.

From RotoBaller

Nov 28 12:53pm ET

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) is out of practice again Thursday, Nov. 28.

Fantasy Spin: Kaden Smith had five catches for 17 yards and a touchdown last week, and he may be in there again. He doesn't provide enough punch to make it into lineups as a TE1.

From TheHuddle

Nov 27 3:00pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate (concussion) and tight end Evan Engram (foot) are not practicing on Wednesday. Tight end Rhett Ellison (concussion) was also absent from practice. All three players should be considered on the wrong side of questionable right now for Week 13 against the Packers. Tate had only three catches last Sunday but managed to find the end zone for the third time in the last two games. If he were to miss this weekend, Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton would see more targets in the passing game. Kaden Smith would once again be a low-end TE2 streaming option if both Engram and Ellison sit out. Smith had five catches for 17 yards and a score in the Week 12 loss to the Bears.

From RotoBaller

Nov 27 11:53am ET

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) is out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Spin: There is still time for him to heal up to play in Week 13, but we'd surmise he's on the wrong side of questionable.

From TheHuddle

Nov 24 11:43am ET

The New York Giants have declared QB Alex Tanney, OL Eric Smith, TE Rhett Ellison, TE Evan Engram, WR Bennie Fowler, OG Chad Slade and DE Chris Peace inactive for Week 12.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 4:23pm ET

New York Giants TEs Rhett Ellison (concussion) and Evan Engram (foot) did not practice all week and have been ruled out for Week 12 versus the Chicago Bears. OT Nate Solder (concussion), C Jon Halapio (hamstring), CB Janoris Jenkins (concussion), OT Mike Remmers (back) and WR Sterling Shepard (concussion) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 22, and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nov 22 1:03pm ET

New York Giants TEs Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) on Friday, Nov. 22, were ruled out for Week 12.

Fantasy Spin: Giants tight end fantasy frustration continues, and with Scott Simonson and Kaden Smith now moving up to the top of the depth chart, it's a situation to be avoided altogether until further notice.

From TheHuddle

Nov 21 4:53pm ET

New York Giants TEs Rhett Ellison (concussion) and Evan Engram (foot) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 21. OT Nate Solder (concussion), C Jon Halapio (hamstring), CB Janoris Jenkins (concussion), OT Mike Remmers (back) and WR Sterling Shepard (concussion) practiced in full.

From TheHuddle

Nov 21 12:10pm ET

New York Giants tight end Evan Engram (foot) is out of practice again on Thursday, and it's safe to assume that he'll be inactive for Week 12 against the Bears. Keep Engram glued to your bench for another week. With Rhett Ellison (concussion) also not expected to play this weekend, it looks like Scott Simonson and rookie Kaden Smith will split work at the position against Chicago. The Bears have been vulnerable to tight ends, but fantasy owners shouldn't be looking to a Simonson/Smith split for help in the fantasy realm.

From RotoBaller

Nov 21 11:33am ET

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) is out of practice again Thursday, Nov. 21, and is unlikely to play in Week 12.

Fantasy Spin: Rhett Ellison (concussion) is in the same boat, and this situation should be avoided in fantasy altogether.

From TheHuddle

Nov 20 12:20pm ET

New York Giants tight ends Evan Engram (foot) and Rhett Ellison (concussion) are not practicing on Wednesday. It seems unlikely at this point that Engram will be ready to play on Sunday against the Bears. You should be making plans to be without Engram again in Week 12. If Ellison is also out, Scott Simonson and rookie Kaden Smith would likely split playing time in a tough matchup with Chicago. Neither one of them would be very attractive as a TE2 streamer in deeper leagues.

From RotoBaller

Nov 20 11:43am ET

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (foot) remains out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 20.

Fantasy Spin: Beat writer Jordan Raanan said it would be an upset if he were ready to play this weekend. Rhett Ellison (concussion) is also out of practice, and this situation should be avoided altogether in fantasy.
