Updating a previous report, free-agent QB Sam Bradford (Cardinals) was unable to practice during the last five weeks of his tenure with the Arizona Cardinals because his left knee -- which has already been subject to two ACL repairs -- is basically 'bone on bone' with no cartilage.

Nov 5 8:20pm ET

Free-agent quarterback Sam Bradford (knee), who was released by the Cardinals over the weekend, hadn't practiced in the previous five weeks because his left knee is basically bone-on-bone. He has no cartilage remaining in his knee that had two ACL repairs. The injury-prone former first overall pick by the Rams has played only two full seasons and is unlikely to attract any interest on the open market.

Sep 30 11:30am ET

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Sam Bradford will officially go from starter to third-string this week, with the Cardinals choosing to make Bradford an inactive against the Seahawks. With Mike Glennon now standing between Bradford and the starting job should current starter Josh Rosen end up missing time with an injury, Bradford can safely be dropped in all formats.

Sep 30 11:23am ET

Arizona Cardinals QB Sam Bradford has been designated as the team's third quarterback, meaning he will not be active for Week 4's game versus the Seattle Seahawks, according to multiple sources. The depth chart move means he will lose an active roster bonus of $312,500 per game. QB Mike Glennon will serve as the backup to starting quarterback Josh Rosen.

Sep 28 6:53pm ET

Arizona Cardinals DT Robert Nkemdiche (knee), DT Corey Peters (elbow), DT Olsen Pierre (toe) and OT Andre Smith (elbow) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable for Week 4. QB Sam Bradford (pectoral), OT Korey Cunningham (thumb), S Johnathan Ford (ankle), LB Dennis Gardeck (ankle), DE Markus Golden (knee), TE Jermaine Gresham (Achilles'), DE Benson Mayowa (ankle) and WR Chad Williams (illness) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Sep 27 7:23pm ET

Arizona Cardinals QB Sam Bradford (pectoral) was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Sept. 27.

Fantasy Spin: Bradford's health will not change the fact that he simply should not be rostered in any leagues right now. Josh Rosen has taken over under center for the foreseeable future.

Sep 27 2:30pm ET

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Sam Bradford (pectorals) is dealing with a minor injury this week. The veteran quarterback has been practicing with the third team ahead of the team's game against the Seattle Seahawks. Bradford has no fantasy value unless something were to happen to both Josh Rosen and Mike Glennon.

From RotoBaller

Sep 26 9:00pm ET

Arizona Cardinals tight end Jermaine Gresham (Achilles), quarterback Sam Bradford (pectoral) and wide receiver Chad Williams (illness) were all limited in practice on Wednesday. Gresham made his season debut last weekend and had only one catch on two targets for nine yards. He should continue splitting repetitions with Ricky Seals-Jones, but Gresham isn't much of a pass-catcher and shouldn't be owned in the majority of leagues. Bradford should also be left to the waiver wire after the team announced that rookie Josh Rosen would take over under center heading into Week 4. Williams has only one catch on 10 targets for eight yards in three weeks. He, too, can be ignored.

Sep 26 8:33pm ET

Arizona Cardinals QB Sam Bradford (pectoral) was limited in practice Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Fantasy Spin: Even if he's healthy, Bradford is slated to be limited to clipboard-holding duties while rookie Josh Rosen starts under center for the first time. Bradford can be dropped in all leagues.

Sep 24 3:03am ET

Arizona Cardinals QB Sam Bradford went 13-of-19 for 157 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3 versus the Chicago Bears, but he also threw two interceptions. He was replaced by rookie Josh Rosen for the final two drives after committing a fourth-quarter fumble.

Fantasy Spin: At this point, it's hard to know for sure if Bradford or offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is to blame for the mess that has become Arizona's offense, but Rosen's insertion into the game late in the fourth quarter with the game still on the line would seem to suggest Bradford may not get another chance anytime soon to prove he's not the one at fault. Neither Bradford nor Rosen are worth using in fantasy for the foreseeable future.

Sep 23 7:40pm ET

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Sam Bradford was benched after completing 13 of 19 passes for 157 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions, and a fumble. Bradford's replacement, rookie quarterback Josh Rosen, was ultimately unable to come through with a win as the team fell to the Bears 16-14. It is unclear who will start next week between Bradford and Rosen - neither should be considered a reliable fantasy option in the meantime.

From RotoBaller

Sep 23 1:20pm ET

The Arizona Cardinals are not expected to bench quarterback Sam Bradford for rookie Josh Rosen just yet. The Cardinals have scored just six points through the first two weeks, but the coaching staff continues to stand by Bradford for now. However, if the Cardinals bench Bradford after this week or decide to release him and use Mike Glennon as the backup, the team would save over $4 million in unpaid per-game roster bonuses. Rosen is the only quarterback taken in the first round of this year's draft that has yet to play in a regular season game. Despite his upside, the Cardinals are giving Bradford a little bit more leash. But it might not be long before we see Rosen if the Cardinals continue to struggle. Bradford remains an unattractive low-end QB2, while Rosen should be stashed in all dynasty/keeper leagues.
